Moonie Face Cloths (Pack of 3, £5.99, link)

Last week saw the exciting launch of Moonie Face Cloths, the invention of the blogosphere's very own Kia!  I've been following Kia's blog for a long time, in fact it was one of the very first I came across when I started blogging myself.  When she opened up her online shop, I bought a pack of Moonies straight away and have been using them all week.

My Moonies arrived wrapped in minimal eco-friendly packaging.  I also received a cute little toy featuring the 'face' of the brand, Neil!

Moonies are basically natural, unbleached muslin face cloths which are circular in shape (see first photo above) and are about 1/4 smaller than a Liz Earle muslin cloth.  They're all hand-made by Kia herself and made using high quality materials which are sourced in the UK.

I've been using Moonies instead of my usual muslin cloths all week to test them out, and have to say I actually prefer them to my Liz Earle ones.  The main reason for this is because Moonies are unbleached and I find that make-up stains come off from them easier in the washing machine.  The problem I've always had with traditional bleached white muslin cloths, is that they stain easily and go grey quickly, which makes them look less appealing to use as time goes on.  Moonies have washed well in the washing machine and have retained their shape well too (with all cloths you'll notice a small amount of shrinkage with the first wash usually).

I think Kia has priced these really well too, especially given the fact that they're all hand-made and are high-quality.   I imagine she'll have her work cut out for her now as more people buy these!

And here's another photo of Neil, just because he's so cute! :)

Moonies are currently available in packs of 3 for just £5.99.  For a limited time you can also take advantage of free UK shipping too.  You can buy them here, and learn more about Moonies and why Kia made them on her blog.

Have you bought any Moonies yet?
