Betrousse Christmas Beauty box* (£19 & p&p, link)

This morning I received a rather late Christmas themed box from Betrousse, but better late then never right?!  I thought I'd do a quick post about it because you can still purchase the box here if you fancy treating yourself.  The box contains 7 full sized beauty products worth a combined total of £97!  Here's what was inside mine:-

Charme D'Orient Relaxing Body Massage Cream
100ml - RRP £16
This French body cream comes beautifully boxed but the plastic tub packaging inside feels a little cheap to me.  However, I've tested it out on my legs and the cream soaked into my skin straight away and had a very subtle warming effect.  The scent is a strange one, like a mix of herbs and spices which I assume come from the Black Seed Oil, Cinnamon and Capsicum in the formula, but it's one I'll enjoy using when I want a change.

Saffron London Cracking Nail Polish in Black
14ml - 75p
I'm pretty much over the whole cracking nail trend so this will be given to someone else.

Skinetica Anti-Blemish Lotion
100ml - £9.99
Haven't heard of Skinetica before but they appear to be a British brand and I'm all for trying out anything that will combat my annoying breakout-prone skin!  Will do a separate review of this once I've tried it out properly.

Tattyoo for Betrousse Temporary Tattoos
2 per pack - £5
Erm yeah....I might give these to my 5 year old niece for a bit of fun!

Forte Pharma UK TurboSlim ChronoActiv
28 Tablets - £29.95
These aren't something I would take myself, but I can appreciate that they may be useful for others.  They're basically slimming tablets that help the body burn more calories and store less fat.  Might see if my mum wants to try them out as she's doing a New Year detox.

Laboratoire LDA-Soins Experts Hydra Cream Expert
50ml - £34
An anti-wrinkle cream that offers extra protection for dehydrated skin and contains Omega 3 and 9 to regenerate the skin.  Comes in a luxe feeling weighty glass jar.  Not for my skintype but I'm sure my mum will be happy to give it a go.

Montagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Mud Spa Face Mask
1 sachet -  £1.49
I'm a big fan of MJ face masks and think that they are fantastic value for money.  I'm especially excited to give this one a go because I love sheet masks so I'll do a review on this soon.

Summary:  A mixed box for me personally, but if you think you'll use everything / can gift some of the products to friends and family etc, then it's still great value for money for what you get.

Would you buy this Betrousse box?

    1. Most of the brands that Betrousse work with are French as they're based over there so they always have interesting products to try out :)

  2. This is a bit of a mixed box! Everything sounds nice, but I think the only things I'd use are the massage cream & anti blemish lotion. xo

    1. The massage cream is nice and my mum says the Laboratoire LDA-Soins Experts Hydra Cream Expert is fab for her dry winter skin, so those are definitely good! I liked the cracking trend when it first came out but very bored of it now x
