NOTD: W7 - Metallic Neptune

Saturday, 19 January 2013

Whilst I absolutely love the shimmery blue/purple duochrome shade of W7's Metallic Neptune, I really, really, really hate the formula.  This beauty sadly chips straight away on me, no matter what top coat I use (you can see in the photo how it's starting to peel away from the edges already after just a few hours of wear!).  However, I still can't bear to see it leave my nail polish collection.  I might start looking for a more harder wearing dupe when my #spendingban is over.

Do you keep nail polishes that chip straight away or do you bin them?

    1. Yeah Essie nail polishes are horrendous for chipping but I still keep mine too. W7 polishes are pretty hit or miss IMO but they're cheap and have some gorgeous colours so can't grumble too much xx

  2. Oh this is such a gorgeous polish, it's such a shame that it chips so easily! I have Tinsel Town by China Glaze which is beautiful, but I have the same problem! I've never tried any W7 polishes, but I have seen them quite a few times in TK Maxx! xx

  10. I really like the color of this. I'm a fan of OPI polishes- maybe they make a similar color? I'm off to do some research!
    Thanks for the post!
