I've recently been testing out two products from a new brand that I haven't heard of before called Pure & Light who specialise in luxury natural and organic skincare.

Pure & Light Organic Essential Face Cream* (30ml, £49, link)
One the brand's bestsellers is this Essential Face Cream which is packed full of antioxidants and essential vitamins.  It's recommended for all skin types, but I'd say it's best for those with more dry, sensitive and/or mature skin as it's a very nourishing and hydrating formula.  It features many skin loving ingredients such as Shea Butter and Organic Oils of Rosehip, Grapeseed, Borage, Argan, Carrotseed, Evening Primrose, Macadamia, Jojoba, Avocado, Tamanu and Sweet Almond, and has the added bonus of cell stimulating essential oils such as Rose, Sandalwood and Orange Blossom. Ingredients aside, the texture of this is simply divine - it's sort of thick but feels very light on the skin and silky to the touch.  There's a fresh subtle scent too which makes it feel even more luxurious to apply.  It's a little too heavy for my combination skin to use in the day time, so I've been using it at night and it's been fantastic.  Being a luxury product, it does come with a luxury price tag, though a little does go a long way with it.

Pure & Light Essential Hand Cream* (75ml, £39, link)
Dry winter hands will love this Essential Hand Cream - it's a super rich blend of Shea Butter and ingredients such as cold-pressed Organic Oils of Argan, Apricot Kernel, Sweet Almond and organic Yarrow, Calendula and Lavender essences.  Like the face cream above, it has a similar silky texture that at first feels quite thick but once on the skin its light and easily absorbed with no greasy or stickiness.  I'm a big fan of Lavender, so naturally the scent of this is something I'd use before bedtime to help me sleep as it's very relaxing.  Sadly though, I do feel that the price point is far too high for this product and the simplistic cheap looking packaging really lets it down in the luxury market.  However, if you're feeling spendy, you won't be disappointed with the formula.

  3. I was offered the moisturiser but worried it would be a little too rich for my combo skin so I've got some trial size pieces to try out..looking forward to testing them! :)

    1. It's a very rich moisturiser - I can only use it at night a few times a week with my combo skin but it works wonders for when my skin is feeling tight or dehydrated from the cold weather. Looking forward to reading your reviews :)
