Amarya Organic / Natural Beauty Box - December 2012

Amarya box (£10 + P&P per month, link)

Amarya's much anticipated December beauty box arrived a couple of days ago and I've only just been able to find the time to retrieve it from my local depot this morning.  After last year's frankly incredible value for money December box, it seemed like everyone (including myself) was dying to open up this years when it arrived.  Sadly, I think most were disappointed...

Inside my box were the following products:-

A £10 off voucher if you spend £50 at Amarya - if anyone wants to use the code feel free!  I've been super organised this year (which is amazing because I usually leave everything to the last minute!) and have done most of my xmas shopping now so I won't be using it.

Undergreen White White Classic Eau De Parfum (1ml) - This is a very pricey (£120 for 100ml) natural perfume, but I just don't like the scent unfortunately.

NEOM Bath Oil in Real Luxury (5ml) - Love, love, love NEOM and their bath oils are simply gorgeous!  Real Luxury is also one of my favourite NEOM scents, so I was really pleased to see this in the box.  Can't wait to indulge in a long hot bath with it!

I also received three travel size sample tubes from Sophyto, a brand who I have been wanting to try out for ages.  Inside my box was their Purifying Silken Cleanser (15ml), Balancing Daily Moisturizer (15ml) and Dual Action Exfoliating Treatment (10ml).

Summary: Despite feeling disappointed at first, I still think it's a good value box and I'm looking forward to my NEOM bath and trying out the Sophyto skincare items.  I think most people are disappointed because it contains three samples from the same brand and that it's not a very 'christmassy' box which I agree with.  As much as I have enjoyed Amarya's beauty boxes, I have cancelled my subscription now because I just have too many samples in my stash to use up.  I will however be looking into maybe trying out one of their new 'Personalised' boxes next year.

Did you receive an Amarya beauty box this month?
What did you think?
