Skincare Review: Nourish Revital Eyes Kale Biomimetic Anti Ageing Eye Cream & Argan Skin Rescue Treatment

Thursday 13 March 2014

This week I've seen a lot of people mention that they're looking to go more 'green' with their skincare routine, so I thought I'd share two tried and tested products that I've been using recently from the natural organic British brand, Nourish.
Nourish Revital Eyes Kale Biomimetic Anti Ageing Eye Cream* (10ml, £30, 79% organic, link)
Packaged in a sleek, skinny tube, Revital Eyes is described as 'superfood for your eyes' which I think sums it up very well.  It's packed full of natural peptides, amino acids, B vitamins and antioxidants which all work together to protect the delicate eye area against the appearance of lines and ageing.  It also has Kale Extract, Macqui Berry and Pomegranate Enzymes to help reduce dark circles and puffiness.  I was intrigued to try this because I love making Kale crisps to snack on and have heard a great deal about the health benefits associated with it.  This is a light and creamy eye cream which is perfect for using in the mornings because it absorbs very quickly and doesn't feel greasy at all.  It delivers a lovely, subtle cooling effect and has a pleasant 'fresh' scent.  I dabbed a tiny bit on and it did a fantastic job of eradicating my 7am morning puffiness, impressive!  I can't really comment on the dark circles/fine lines aspect just yet as it's still early days, but I can say that my eyes do look more awake when I use this, so I have high hopes for its long term effects.  It also keeps my undereye area happily hydrated throughout the day.

Nourish Argan Skin Rescue Treatment* (15ml, £21, 90% organic, link)
If your skin is feeling worse for wear after struggling through winter, then it'll certainly appreciate this argan rich facial oil treatment.  Skin Rescue does just that - it helps to restore distressed skin and further protect it against the signs of aging.  It also aids in the reduction of scarring and blotchiness associated with injury, eczema, acne and psoriasis, so I think it's an ideal product to have in your beauty routine if your skin suffers from any of those.  A small amount goes a very long way (you literally only need 1-2 drops), and it feels so luxurious to use.  A heavenly little pampering treat for skin that needs some TLC.

Available to purchase direct from Nourish and various online retailers.

Have you tried anything from Nourish?
