Ted Baker's new Residence luxury home range takes inspiration from stories in six popular destinations around the world, and are a stylish way to scent your home.
This unique London scent was inspired by the Victorian Lady Angela Burdett-Coutts who was famous for transforming London's Columbia Road into a blossoming flower market. The fragrance is a mix of Wild Rose and English Leather, which to my nose creates a sensual woody, floral atmosphere that's very mature and sophisticated; the sort of scent you'd have burning at a dinner party. I love the packaging too with its London street illustration and the white ceramic matte textured jar is very chic.
Ted Baker Residence New York Scented Reed Diffuser* (200ml fragrance, £35, link)
If you prefer reed diffusers over candles, then the range is available in this format and contains 200ml of fragrance oil in each set. The New York scent is a beautiful blend of Vanilla and Cedarwood, inspired by old 1920s New York glamour. When I first opened this up, I immediately thought that it smelt very similar to Thierry Mugler's Angel perfume that my sister wears a lot - it's definitely an inviting and warming fragrance to have in your home. Like the candles, the reed diffusers are also packaged in the same kind of ceramic matte textured jars and each features an illustration which matches up to its name.
Ted Baker's Residence Home Collection of luxury Candles and Reed Diffusers come in six different fragrances; London, New York, Miami, Tokyo, Athens and Sydney. Available to purchase from John Lewis and Feel Unique.
