If you're making eyes at a certain someone this weekend, make them bold and dramatic with a slick of black liquid eyeliner and super pigmented mascara. These two products from Alexa Chung's range for Eyeko won't let you down!

I have two main rules when it comes to liquid eyeliner; if it's black, it must be jet black and it must be waterproof. The Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner firmly ticks both of those boxes. It's properly black with a slight gloss finish and it's 100% waterproof - I've worn this in the rain this week and my liner didn't smudge one bit - amazing stuff. It's also super easy to use thanks to the fine nib and great for creating both thin and thick lines, as well as those much coveted cat eye flicks. The packaging is also really cute so it's a winner all round.

Alexa Chung for Eyeko Eye Do Mascara* (8ml, £20, link)
Eyeko's mascaras have always caught my eye because of their interesting tube packaging and I'm pleased to say that the product inside is just as impressive, if not more so. Featuring an oversized spiral wand / brush, this baby grabs every single lash and coats it with a jet black pigmented formula that's infused with botanical ingredients to strengthen your lashes over time. Well I can't vouch for that claim just yet, but I can say that I love this mascara for it's ability to make my lashes look bigger and thicker within seconds. Like the eyeliner, this is also waterproof which is a massive bonus when you're living in England! I did experience a tiny bit of clumping as the formula is a little wet at first but I'm hoping this dries out a bit after I've used it more often.
