Rossi Uvema Rose & Pink Clay Face Mask review
Clay masks are a useful staple in anyone's skincare routine, as they help to detoxify and draw out impurities in a matter of minutes. A new addition to my own stash is this Pink Clay based one from Rossi Uvema.

What is it & what does it do?
A moisturising clay mask composed of 100% natural ingredients (so no parabens, SLS, sulphates, mineral oil etc) that features a base blend of red and white clay, to make pink clay. It's also packed full of skin nourishing ingredients such as Sweet Almond Oil, Plum Kernel Oil and Cocoa Butter, and there's also a small amount of Rose Damascena essential oil in there for its a gorgeous scent and extra hydrating properties.

The clay helps to draw out impurities in the skin, so it's great for unblocking clogged pores and generally giving everything a thorough clean out, whilst the more nourishing ingredients offer a good level of hydration making it suitable for sensitive and drier skin types.

How do I use it & how often?
The mask comes ready made in the pot, so there's no fussing around with mixing clay powders or anything like that. You apply a layer to dry, cleansed skin and allow it to works its magic for 10-15 minutes, before rinsing it off. I've been using it about once a week, or every 10 days depending on how my skin is feeling.

My thoughts?
I haven't tried anything from this natural British brand before, but I'm a big fan of moisturising clay masks in general because you truly get the best of both worlds in one product. You not only reap the benefits of detoxing the skin, but you also put back some of the moisture that's drawn out in the same process which is highly beneficial in keeping your skin happy and hydrated.

I love how this mask doesn't 'set' on the face - you don't get that tight / cracking feeling like you do with traditional clay masks, and this kind of formula also makes it much easier to remove afterwards without any harsh tugging or scrubbing. After using this, I could see that my blackheads on my nose were completely gone and that my skin looked visibly clearer without feeling irritated or stripped. My skin was also as smooth as a baby's bum once I'd rinsed it off which was a nice bonus! Excellent price point, great ingredients, and a generous sized tub too - this will last you ages!
