October Favourites

Thursday 1 November 2012

I have another handful (or two) of favourites for October.   Whilst I usually keep it strictly just beauty products, I couldn't help but include two non-beauty favs with this bunch.

Schwarzkopf OSiS+ Flatliner Iron Serum Spray* - (review)
I've currently been using this every time I straighten my hair and I'm always impressed by how smooth, sleek and frizz free it makes my hair look each time.

LUSH No Drought Dry Shampoo - (review)
So pleased to have found my HG dry shampoo at long last!  Has a lovely uplifting citrus scent too which instantly brightens my mood first thing in the morning.

Weleda Skin Food* - (featured in my Winter Skin Saviours post here)
A brilliant multi-purpose, thick, herbal scented lotion that seriously hydrates any dry areas.  If your skin is struggling to cope with the cold weather, then definitely check this out.

L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream
One of my all time favourite hand creams and something that I always use throughout autumn and winter.  The formula is amazing; it just soaks straight in and is completely non-greasy.

terre d'Oc Gloss Sublime Shine Lip Gloss in 302 Rose Ubud* - (swatch/review)
Pretty rosy pink lip-gloss that's super easy to wear and great for everyday.

Benefit Sun Beam
I was SO happy to get my hands on this after eyeing up the full size since it launched.  I love using this liquid gold coloured highlighter to perk up my skin on dull, grey days and give it a bit of a glow.

Liz Earle Signature Lip Colour in Tea Rose* - (swatch/review)
One of my favourite beauty discoveries this month, has got to be this lipstick from Liz Earle.  These are certainly on a par with MAC and Bobbi Brown!  Tea Rose is a gorgeous MLBB shade that I've been wearing constantly.

Korres Wild Rose Lip Butter
Is there anyone out there who doesn't love these tinted lip butters?  Wild Rose gives a hint of pink to the lips and the butter formula keeps them happily moisturised.  I'll be doing a post on Korres lip butters shortly so keep an eye out :)

Liz Earle Healthy Glow Powder Blush in Nude* - (swatch/review)
Another new Liz Earle fav; Nude is a sheer, everyday, work friendly blush that lasts all day.  Reminds me a lot of MAC's Sheertone Blushers.

Kleenex Shine Absorbing Sheets - (review)
A new handbag staple for me, these Kleenex sheets are powder free and blot away any oiliness and shine straight away.  If you haven't tried these before and have a bothersome oily t-zone, then definitely check these out - they're often on offer for half price too.

Bobble Water Bottle - (review)
Despite only having this for a short time, I've quickly become obssessed with my Bobble (I know I'm weird!).  It's an eco-friendly alternative to mainstream plastic bottles which filters tap water as you drink it, whilst also improving the taste.  I love my Bobble!

LOV Organic Tea - LOV Is Beautiful
I'm usually not a fan of fruit teas, but this one is blended with green tea so it's not too sweet and has a delicious peach taste to it.  A lovely discovery from last month's natural themed Joliebox.
