5 Mini Reviews: L'Occitane, Clinique, LUSH, Nivea & balance Me

(1) L'Occitane Repairing Conditioner
Only a one use sachet but one that I really enjoyed using.  Formulated for dry and damaged hair, it left my hair feeling stronger and looking healthier straight away which is pretty amazing!  Definitely will be picking up a full size bottle when I've used up some of my current hair conditioners.

(2) Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream
Have used samples of this in the past and it's a good fragrance-free cream based exfoliator.  I'd say it's a bit too abrasive to use on a daily basis as they suggest, but it's one I liked to use twice a week in my skincare routine instead.

(3) LUSH Mask Of Magnaminty
This face mask has been recommended to me countless times, so when I experienced an annoying breakout across my chin last week, I popped into LUSH to get a sample to try out.  It cleared everything up in one go, very impressed!  Smells fresh and minty too!  Seriously worth trying out if you have spot-prone/breakout/oily/ problem skin.

(4) Nivea Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer
I had high hopes for this, but it just didn't work for me and caused the above mentioned breakout :(

(5) balance Me Stellar Face Balm*
Loved using this multi-purpose balm on all my dry bits (lips, around the nose when you have a cold, cuticles, elbows, heels etc) and found it very effective.  The full size is pretty expensive at £18 a pot, so I'd probably only purchase the travel size in the future.  You can also use it as a hydrating face mask if you have dry skin.

Have you tried any of these?

  1. I didn't like that primer either - it actually made my foundation roll off my face as I applied it, WHAT?! Definitely staying loyal to Witch x
