March Empties / Products I've Used Up

Thursday 28 March 2013

Oh yes, it's that time of the month for the Empties round up!  I managed to finish off quite a lot of products again which is no surprise since I'm still on the 100 Day Spending Ban.  So here are my March Empties, what I thought of them and whether I will be repurchasing them or not.

L'Occitane Lavender Shower Gel
Used this travel size bottle up in recent baths.  Has a lovely fresh, non-powdery lavender scent which makes it very relaxing to use.  Repurchase?  No, will probably buy the Bath Foam version instead.

Inecto Pure Coconut Shower Creme
I've tried lots of products from the Inecto coconut range and everything smells so good!  I used this up as a shaving cream and it was very moisturising.  Fab budget buy!  Repurchase?  Yes.

Arganti Argan Oil* - (from Betrousse Pretty Beauty Box)
This smells REALLY bad!  It is however a good pure argan oil so I added a couple of drops of rose essential oil to it whenever I reached for it.  Mainly used it as a weekly intensive hair treatment to keep my lengths and ends looking healthy and glossy.  Repurchase?  No, I prefer the Simply Argan Oil a lot more because it doesn't stink!

LUSH Ro's Argan Body Conditioner - (featured in 15 Minute Miracle Pampering post)
Absolutely love this stuff, smells amazing.  It's basically a rub-on, wash off in the shower body cream that leaves dry skin wonderfully soft and fragranced.  Repurchase?  Yes.

Laidbare Butter Me Up Organic Shea Body Butter* - (review
Another product that I really love and also smells incredible (strong on the jasmine front but that's why I like it!).  Have enjoyed using this throughout winter as it's perfect for dry skin. Will also be re-using the tub to put my DIY body scrubs in.  Repurchase?  Definitely.

Burt's Bees Green Tea & Lemongrass Hand Soap
This has got a really fresh scent to it so I had it in my kitchen by the sink.  I like it, but find it a little too clarifying to use in the winter months.  Repurchase?  Maybe in summer.

Skin Salveation Lip Balm* - (featured in my Currently Using Lip Balms post)
Lovely simple 100% organic beeswax lip balm that's very hydrating and perfect for using before bed.  Very reasonably priced for an organic lip balm too.  Repurchase?  Will do when I've got my lip balm stash under better control.

Murad Vitalic Pomegranate Exfoliating Mask* - (review)
Brilliant face mask that works wonders, ideal for those with dull skin who want it to look brighter and more refreshed.  Managed to get two uses out of this one sachet too.  Repurchase? Already using.

The Body Shop Lightening Touch Concealer in 03
The best highstreet dupe of YSL Touche Eclat I've come across yet, must have repurchased it countless times.  The formula is thinner and a lot easier to blend with than TE which is why I prefer it.  Repurchase?  I'm trying out the Collection one at the mo so only time will tell.

L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream
My current holy grail hand cream which never, ever feels greasy yet has a super thick moisturising formula.  Repurchase?  Already have more in my stash!

ELF Cream Eyeliner in Black
Another product I've repurchased a fair few times is this gel liner from ELF.  Technically haven't used it all up, but it's recently dried up after I hit pan on it last month so it needs to go.  Repurchase?  Yes.

    1. Give it a go with some essential oil, definitely helps to mask that awful smell! I think it's because I'm still on the ban, don't think I'll have so much when it's over! x
