The Rave Review: Bodhi Rosemary Chi Himalayan Detox Salt Scrub, Flora Paradiso De-Stress Massage & Body Oil & Neroli Lucé Revitalising Face Oil

Wednesday 26 June 2013

One of the best things about being a beauty blogger is being able to try out a whole host of new products on a regular basis, and I get a lot of enjoyment out of doing so!  But when it comes to Bodhi, their products take this perk to an entire new level of pleasure.  These three are just some of the latest and exciting additions to be created by Bodhi, and all are more than worthy of a rave review.

Bodhi Rosemary Chi Himalayan Detox Salt Scrub* (250g, £35, link)

I do love a good body scrub, especially to use during the summer months, but I never thought I'd be so completely, head-over-heels, in love with one.  This stuff is the bomb.  It's an exquisite blend of Himalayan Salt Crystals (renowned the world over for their detoxifying benefits) with Rosemary, Geranium, Petitgrain and Cedarwood essential oils.  The oils help to revive the senses, and along with the Organic Shea Butter, Apricot Kernel and Grape Seed oils, also help to combine and hold together the salts to make this wonderful scrub.

I've been using this as an indulgent two-in-one product.  Simply apply all over the body, gently rub it into the dry skin and then immerse yourself in a warm bath.  You get all the benefits of a scrub which makes your skin unbelievably soft, and a detox salt bath at the same time.  Genius.

The Rosemary Chi Himalayan Detox Salt Scrub is certainly on the expensive side, but honestly, as a treat every now and again, it is absolutely worth it.

Bodhi Flora Paradiso De-Stress Massage & Body Oil* (100ml, £38, link)

I was lucky enough to encounter this next product first-hand as a divine back massage at Bodhi's Spa Soiree Event, and can certainly vouch for its de-stressing claims!  Based on ancient massage rituals from the Balinese of Indonesia, this massage oil has a beautiful concoction of Ylang Ylang, Lavender, Atlas Cedarwood and Apricot Kernel Oil to send you straight to cloud nine bliss.

You can also use it as a pampering body oil like you would any other body oil too.  It absorbs into the skin quickly, and doesn't feel overly greasy in the slightest.  The delicate floral scent is just gorgeous too, and I've received many compliments from people asking what perfume I've been wearing, when all I've had on was this!

Bodhi Neroli Lucé Revitalising Face Oil* (15ml, £32, link)

Lastly, here's something for you all skincare junkies to pick up on.  Last year, Bodhi launched their first ever face oil called Desert Rose which I reviewed here.  Whilst there's no doubt that Desert Rose is a bestselling product, it's formulated more for mature and dry skintypes, so it's something that I only tend to use in the winter months or when my skin is feeling a bit dehydrated.  Those with oily/combination skintypes finally had their prayers answered when Bodhi announced the launch of Neroli Lucé Revitalising Face Oil.

This face oil is perfectly crafted for anyone who has normal, combination, dull and tired or blemish-prone skin.  It uses Neroli to revitalise and rebalance, whereas Frankincense has rejuvenating properties, and Sea Buckthorn Oil has restorative ones.  It's also the Sea Buckthorn in the formula which gives the skin a beautiful, natural looking 'glow', by it's yellow coloured composition.

The oil is light and non-greasy, with just one pump going a long way, so the 15ml bottle will be sure to last you a lot longer than you may imagine.  This is the first face oil I've ever been able to use in the mornings under my make-up because it sinks into the skin so well.  I love the glow effect and my skin looks noticeably more radiant.  Amazing stuff.

These and the full range of Bodhi products are available via their website, and select stockists.  All of the products mentioned above are packaged in ultra luxe biophotonic glass which help to preserve the products at their best.  Bodhi products are free from petrochemicals, parabens, silicones, carbomers, acrylic-polymers, and do not contain any synthetic colours, fragrances or animal ingredients.  Ingredients are ethically sourced from sustainable origins and Bodhi do not test on animals.

Have you tried any of Bodhi's new products?
