5 Mini Reviews: Tresemme, Peppy Galore, Liz Earle, Weleda & Max Factor

Saturday 29 March 2014

Time for another 5 Mini Reviews post - here are five samples that I've used up recently and my thoughts on them.

(1)  Tresemme Split Remedy Shampoo, Conditioner & Leave In Treatment
Didn't get on with these at all - the shampoo and conditioner left my hair looking really greasy and the leave in treatment felt too sticky.  Not for me!
Purchase the full size?  No.

(2)  Peppy Galore Herbs De Provence Body Mousse
I love trying out body lotions in different flavours and this one has a fresh, lavender meets rosemary sort of scent, which is really nice.  The Body Mousse feels luxuriously thick and rich, and was a perfect match for my dry skin.
Purchase the full size?  Definitely would.

(3)  Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser Normal/Combination
I've been a fan of the Skin Repair Light version for a long time, but I wanted to try this sample as my skin is currently less oily and more combination thanks to the weather.  I liked it initially, but I don't think it did much for the drier areas of my face.
Purchase the full size?  No.

(4)  Weleda Seabuckthorn Hand Cream
The Seabuckthorn range from Weleda is one of my favourites so I knew I was going to love this.  It's got a lovely rich texture and left my hands feeling super soft and cared for.  The scent is gorgeous too, very uplifting and always makes me happy.
Purchase the full size?  Yes.

(5)  Max Factor Whipped Creme Foundation in 50 Natural
This shade didn't suit me, but what was worse was how this foundation just 'sat' on my skin like it was a thin layer of plaster and it oxidised really badly.  I couldn't wait to wash it off!
Purchase the full size?  Hell no!

Have you tried any of these?

    1. It's horrible isn't it?! I've heard that the full size version doesn't even last a month as well - what a rip off! The Weleda hand cream is gorgeous x

  5. I don't mind Tresemme's styling range but their general haircare just disappoints me whenever I try it :(
