Love Me Beauty have had a complete overhaul and revamp of their website and ordering system, which I feel will make LMB an even bigger contender in the beauty box market.

What's changed?
1.  The Love Me Beauty website is now tailored to your personal beauty profile.
When you sign into the new website, you'll be asked to fill in a beauty profile saying what you like, don't like, what your hair colour is etc.  The website will then bring up personalised product suggestions based on your answers to make it easy to decide what you want to have in your box.

2.  No more menus, instead you choose ALL of the products yourself - hooray!
Each month as part of your subscription, you'll get 6 credits to spend on the Love Me Beauty website. Everything is either 1 or 2 credits each, so you should be able to get 3-6 products in your box every month depending on what you choose.

3.  More choice and additional extras.
There are now more products to choose from in The Boutique, and you have the option to add extra products to your monthly box if you fancy treating yourself / splurging (extra prices are shown before you add them).

4.  New box and packaging.
The Love Me Beauty box now comes in a much more high-end feeling silver box with sleek rose gold lettering and your products are packaged in a branded re-usuable drawstring bag - cute!

What hasn't changed?
The price is still the same at £10 plus p&p.

For my September Love Me Beauty box I chose the following:-

Anatomicals Puffy The Eye Bag Slayer Revitalising Eye Mask (full size, £3.50)
I have horribly puffy eyes first thing in the morning so when I saw this, I knew I had to have it!  It's a gel eye mask that can placed in warm or cold water to de-puff those pesky eye bags.  Simple yet effective.

Oriflame BB Cream SPF 30 (full size, £10.95)
I love light bases especially ones that come with a high SPF and this one from Oriflame has some great reviews.  It's oil free too which is massive bonus for my skin so I'm looking forward to trying this out.

Malin + Goetz Peppermint Shampoo (travel size 29ml, full size is 236ml for £16)
The last time I was in Space NK, I saw a huge stand for Malin + Goetz and have been curious about their Peppermint Shampoo for a while, so I'm really happy that I finally get to try it out.

Percy & Reed Lovingly Light Foaming Treatment Mask (full size, £20)
I'm addicted to hair masks but I've never used a product like this before.  It comes out as a lightweight mousse that you apply whilst in the bath/shower to wet hair and use like you would a normal hair mask.  Intriguing!

Summary:  It's great to see Love Me Beauty stepping up their game like this and I'm sure that many (if not all) of its customers will be thrilled to be able to choose all of their own products every month and use the tailored service.  The value for money is still amazing too!

Love Me Beauty box* is available to purchase for £10 + P&P via their website.

  1. This sounds great! I really want to get back into beauty boxes, I stopped getting them after being subbed to Glossy Box as it just got a little bit samey. This looks really good though.xx

    1. Yeah I think that's one of the main selling points of LMB is that you make up the boxes yourself so it stops things getting samey! xx

  5. About time someone did a "pick your own stuff" beauty box! And the selections sound really good, I think I'd be tempted to subscribe.

  6. I really like the fact you can choose the products now - it means you're not going to have products in the box that you don't really want or that aren't suited to you xx

    1. My thoughts exactly - there's no worse feeling in the world than when you pay a tenner a month and then receive a box of stuff you'll never use! xx

  7. I love the changes they've made to this beauty box - I think it is going to win over so many more people! I would love to give a beauty box another go, I was put off for months and months after the failures of Birchbox. xx
