You Beauty Discovery Box - March 2015 review
This month's You Beauty Discovery box has arrived and boasts a 'Best Of British' theme to showcase both established and new homegrown talent.  Want to take a closer look inside?

As always, there was a shortlist of products to choose from and I opted for these two:-

Illamasqua Lipstick in Sangers (full size, £18.50)
Illamasqua do incredible lipsticks so I had to have this one!  There was only one shade available this time around but it's a stunner.  This is a killer matte blood red called Sangers and it goes on so smoothly and doesn't feel drying in the slightest.  It's insanely pigmented and long lasting - a real winner for anyone's makeup collection!

#LipGlam Lanolin Lip Balm (full size, £9.99)
Being a lip balm addict, I couldn't resist trying out this one from #LipGlam, a brand that I haven't heard of before.  This looks to be basically the same as Lanolips and can be used as a multi-purpose moisturiser for anywhere that you have dry skin e.g lips, cuticles, heels etc.

YBD also included some extras in the form of a Nakd Cocoa Orange bar (one of my favourite flavours, yum!) and two 50ml travel sizes of Dove's new Youthful Vitality Shampoo & Conditioner.

You Beauty Discovery Box is £6.95 per month incl p&p.  To find out more and to sign up, visit http://www.youbeautydiscovery.co.uk/members-box

Did you get a You Beauty Discovery Box this month?

  1. Oooh the Illamasqua lipstick looks lovely, you can't beat a classic red shade. The Naked bars sound really interesting, I have such a sweet tooth I should probably find an alternative to my jaffa cake addiction hehe :)

  4. To be honest this months box is worth it for the Illamasqua lipstick alone! Although I do struggle with Illamasqua's lipsticks unless they're in the new Glamore formula as I find them so dry to use and wear x

    1. Definitely! This one's surprisingly not drying for a matte formula but I agree, the Glamore formula is really good and my favourite too x

  9. This is such an amazing box. I'm tempted to sign up to this one and cancel Birchbox. I feel I'm getting much more for my money plus it's almost half price. x

    1. I agree, I used to sub to Birchbox and Glossybox but found the boxes started to be very samey so I dropped both and just have You Beauty Discovery now. SO much cheaper and I find that I actually use everything I get because I can choose the products myself :) x

  10. I went for the lipstick too and the Good Things face mask. I couldn't believe when it I realised the Illamasqua was worth £18.50 and the box costs a third of that!! xx
