Aenika Coconut Hair Oil Treatment review
This week's Mid Week Pamper Treat features a brand new Coconut Oil based hair treatment from Aenika.  If you have dry hair that currently could benefit from some TLC, you'll want to read on!

Created by former L'Oreal intern, Aenika Shah decided to branch out on her own and recently released her first natural haircare product.  The Coconut Hair Oil Treatment has a pure Coconut Oil base which is blended with other key hair nourishing ingredients such as Almond Oil, Olive Oil and Sesame Seed Oil, as well as Indian Gooseberry extract which is known to prevent premature greying. Each of the oils have their own brilliant natural properties and together they help to prevent dandruff and dry scalp, prevent hair breakage, encourage healthy hair growth, and protect the hair from the damaging effects of UV from the sun, as well as deeply hydrating even the driest hair.

How to Use
The Coconut Hair Oil Treatment comes packaged in a glass bottle with a handy pump.  As it's based on Coconut Oil, the product may be solid inside (and with this still chilly weather that's what I experienced!) so you just need to pop the bottle into a bowl of warm water to turn it back to liquid form again.  Once this is done, you simply pump out a handful's worth or two depending on how long your hair is and whether you want to use it as a scalp treatment or not, and apply it to dry hair before shampooing.  Brush it through to ensure your hair is covered and then tie it up or wrap your head in a towel/turban for about 15-20 minutes.

Results
Once I'd rinsed this out, I allowed my hair to dry naturally to fully assess the benefits.  My hair was left incredibly silky soft and swish-worthy after just the first use, plus I noticed extra shine and almost no frizz.  Brilliant stuff!

Aenika Coconut Hair Oil Treatment* (100ml, £23.99) is available to purchase from aenika.com
