Maple Holistics Sage Shampoo & Dead Sea Mineral Youth Face Mask review
I was recently introduced to Maple Holistics, an independent American based company who create a whole range of natural hair and body products and pride themselves on the high quality of the ingredients that they use.

They kindly let me choose two products from their website to review:-

Maple Holistics Sage Shampoo* (250ml, £11.81, link)
I've mentioned before that I have quite a sensitive scalp and it's sadly one that's prone to bouts of dandruff and dry skin every now and again.  When I was looking through Maple Holistics' website, I spotted that their Sage 100% Natural Shampoo was a bestseller and had great reviews, so I thought I'd give it a go. This is a specially formulated shampoo to combat dandruff and reduce dead skin cell shedding.  It uses the powerful natural properties of Sage, Rosemary and Tea Tree Oil to help keep flakes at bay and gently soothe irritated scalps.

The scent is very strong and herbal but I didn't mind it too much because the results are fantastic. You only need to use a small amount and despite being sulfate free, it lathers really well and does an excellent job of cleaning your hair.  My scalp felt refreshed and happy, and it eradicated a pesky bout of dandruff within 3 days of daily use.  Brilliant!

Maple Holistics Dead Sea Mud Mask* (240ml, £9.07, link)
Dead Sea Mud is one of the best natural ingredients around and my skin has always responded positively to products that feature it.  This one uses 100% Dead Sea Mud, as opposed to other brands who use a mixed mud composition from various different sources, so I was excited to give it a go. Along with the Dead Sea Mud, it also has essential oils of German Chamomile (known for its anti-inflammatory properties), Green Myrtle (great for balancing oily skin), Clary Sage and Lavender blended into the formula.  The result is a face mask that looks like mud but has a lovely aromatic scent to it.

It takes around 15-20 minutes to fully dry once applied to the skin, so after that I just remove it with a hot flannel.  It's perfect for giving the skin a really deep cleanse as it pulls out all your impurities, bringing everything to the surface so it's ideal for those with blemish prone skin and acne.  A great detox mask!
