This month's You Beauty Discovery box arrived through my letterbox the other day and is themed around 'Summer Essentials'.
Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collagen Booster (15ml deluxe travel size worth £18)
I've heard so much about Ole Henriksen from other bloggers and various skincare gurus, but I've only tried the much hyped face wipes from the brand (which are amazing by the way!), so when I saw this serum I knew I had to have it. This is described as a high powered Vitamin C complex booster to help protect the skin from the elements and to keep it nourished and hydrated. Sounds fantastic and is a huge size for a sample so I know I'll be able to test this out properly. Anyone tried this one before?
Peggy Sage Nail Polish in Nude Elegance (full size, £8)
I wasn't that wowed by this month's shortlist to be honest, mainly because I already have some of the other products (e.g the Inika Mineral Bronzer I reviewed here, and the Stila Eyeliner I received in the Latest In Beauty Capital FM box a few months ago). In the end I played it safe and opted for the Peggy Sage Nail Polish because you can't go wrong with a good nude nail colour, and I'm so happy that I picked this. I received the shade 'Nude Elegance' which is a gorgeous milky taupe with the tiniest hint of purple in it.
As usual, YBD included some extras in the form of a 15ml sachet sample of Sienna X Gradual Glowing Self Tan and the first four chapters of City Of Bones by Cassandra Clare. Not as exciting as last month's box, but still excellent value for money and I'm very pleased with the two products that I chose.
