CV Skinlabs Restorative Skin Balm, Calming Moisture & Rescue + Relief Spray review
Usually, I'll include reviews of mini or travel size products in a 5 Mini Reviews post, but I've been so impressed with these three products from CV Skinlabs that I felt like they deserved a post of their own.

CV Skinlabs are a cruelty-free American brand but you can purchase their products in the UK via online stockists like Cos Natural and Amazon. Their skincare line has been produced especially for those who have sensitive skin and problems like eczema and psoriasis. They have a strong ethos about only producing products that repair and restore the health of the skin without the use of harsh chemical ingredients or potential irritants. Instead, they use natural and organic ingredients which are clinically proven to benefit the skin - it never ceases to amaze me how so many 'sensitive skin' products have irritating ingredients in them so I was naturally drawn to CV Skinlabs and have been testing out three of their bestsellers.

CV Skinlabs Restorative Skin Balm* (full-size 15ml, £25.95, link - 7ml travel size shown)
Described as 'advanced therapy for severely dry and cracked skin', this multi-purpose balm is a must have for anyone who has troublesome dry skin. It's petroleum-free and uses ingredients such Shea Butter, Lanolin, Sweet Almond Oil, Beeswax, Vitamin E and a multitude of plant extracts to soften and repair dry skin that has cracked. Great for lips, cuticles, new scars and any problem areas that need some TLC, this gets to work quickly and does what it says on the tube. And like a lot of balms, a tiny amount goes a long way.

CV Skinlabs Calming Moisture* (full-size 60ml, £45, link - 30ml travel size shown)
Calming Moisture is an intensive repairing moisturiser, yet unlike other moisturisers in this spectrum that are usually very thick in texture, this one is surprisingly light and much more like an everyday facial cream. You can use this on the face, neck and scalp, and it instantly soothes irritated skin, rehydrating it in the process. I've used this on a little patch of eczema under my eyebrow (why I have it there, I'll never know!) and it managed to clear it up within a few days. Really impressive stuff and you can safely use it after procedures like microdermabrasion, peels, waxing, etc to calm down any redness and irritation.

CV Skinlabs Rescue + Relief Spray* (full-size 175ml, £35.50, link - 30ml travel size shown)
Imagine a light and easily absorbed moisturiser in a spray format and this is essentially what Rescue + Relief Spray is. Packed full of powerful natural botanical extracts known for their anti-inflammatory properties like Tumeric root and Valeriana, this spray offers an immediate cooling down effect that gently calms and soothes any irritation and redness. Very similar to the Calming Moisture above, you can use this after shaving, waxing etc, and I think the spray formula will appeal to people who have young children as it makes application of these sorts of products much quicker and easier.

Have you tried any products from CV Skinlabs?
