TG Green Teas (Hot & Cold Drinks) review
When it comes to the little things in life, a good cup of tea is such a satisfying part of a lot of people's daily routines. As many of you know, I'm somewhat obsessed with tea and enjoy trying out new ones all the time. My latest find are these delicious green teas from TG.

I have The Vegan Kind to thank for introducing me to TG as I received a pack of their Green Tea with Jujube & Osmanthus in my February box, and I was instantly hooked. TG got in touch with me on Twitter shortly after seeing my review, and very kindly sent me a box* of their different flavoured teas to try out, including their ready-made iced tea bottles.

For those of you not already familiar with TG, they specialise in high-quality Green Tea which is organically grown in the Dao Ren Peak area of Eastern China. They're a member of the Ethical Tea Partnership and two of their flavours won Great Taste Awards last year. TG's tea are packaged in resealable pouches to keep everything fresh, and their loose leaf tea comes in those lovely silky pyramid bags that allow the tea leaves to move around and infuse better.

The flavours that I tried out are:-

TG Green Tea (15 pyramid bags, £4, link)
Straight up Green Tea with no other flavourings or ingredients added, this gives you an earthy, strong, full bodied cuppa when brewed for around 3 minutes. It has a 'clean' taste to it with a slight nuttiness. I like to add a little honey to my Green tea as a sweetener but I found that I didn't need to use as much with this one compared to other brands I've tried in the past.

TG Green Tea with Ginger & Lemon Zest (15 pyramid bags, £4, link)
If you're not a fan of Green Tea on its own, I'd definitely recommend trying a flavoured version like this one. This is simply composed of just Green Tea (78%), Ginger (12%) and Lemon Peel (10%) for a zingy, uplifting and warming drink. The combination and balance of the three flavours is just right, as they compliment the Green Tea base without overpowering it. I drank a lot of this when I was ill recently and it certainly helps with colds and flu!

TG Green Tea with Jujube & Osmanthus (15 pyramid bags, £4, link)
For something completely different, this one is a truly unique treat for the tastebuds as I haven't experienced anything like it before. Here we have a creative blend of Green Tea (70%), Jujube Fruit (25%), and Osmanthus Flower (5%), which results in a delicate fruity floral twist to the traditional Green Tea flavour. Light and subtly refreshing, this is a perfect tea to try for Spring when you're outside enjoying the sun.

In addition to the hot teas, I had the pleasure of trying out these three ready-made iced teas, all of which are just 30 calories a bottle, with no preservatives or artificial colours and are bottled here in the UK. They are lightly sweetened with cane sugar and stevia.

TG Green Tea with Jujube & Ginseng (330ml, £1.39, link)
This was simply delicious - you get that subtle, fruity Jujube flavour (which is sort of sweet and berryish, but completely different to any berries I've tried before) mixed with the Green Tea, but with the added bonus of Ginseng to help naturally wake up the senses. Lovely!

TG Green Tea with Mandarin & Ginseng (330ml, £1.39, link)
My favourite of the three, simply because I love anything fruity and orangey. The Mandarin blended really well with the Green Tea and Ginseng, for an uplifting and zingy taste. I can see myself drinking a lot of these when the weather gets warmer.

Keeping it simple with just a hint of Ginseng, this is the one to opt for if you love Green Tea and want a refreshing, clean tasting cold drink.
