Ogario London Restore And Shine Hair Masque review
Having very long hair that's also naturally dry and frizzy means that I rely heavily on a stash of hair masks to keep it sleek and hydrated. Like my face masks, I switch the hair ones around in my bathroom a lot, and my new favourite comes from Ogario London.

There's something about salon haircare brands that really appeals to me. Perhaps it's because they have the daily experience and that hands-on, expert knowledge about working with hair, but it's safe to say that professional salon people know what's good and what's bad for hair. For example, Ogario London have an independent salon in Islington, and they've created a natural haircare range over the years that has been developed with feedback from their own clients. These tried and tested formulas are primarily created with plant extracts and essential oils, leaving out all of the unnecessary 'nasties'.  I have struggled to find natural based hair masks that actually work as good as mainstream brands, but I think I'm finally onto something with Ogario's Restore And Shine Hair Masque.

What's in it and what does it do?
Ogario London's Restore And Shine Hair Masque is an award winning hair treatment that helps to repair damaged hair, deeply conditioning it whilst adding strength, shine and manageability. It's packed full of natural ingredients such as Avocado Oil, May Chang Oil, Olive Oil, Aloe Vera, Lavender, Sage, Nettle and Horsetail extracts, as well as Pro-Vitamin B5. It's SLS, parabens and silicones free.

How often do I use it and who is it for?
Once a week and it's suitable for all hair types.

My thoughts?
This mask is like a vitamin packed smoothie for my hair. It's reassuringly thick in texture, and has a lovely citrusy, uplifting scent. The first time that I used it, I left it on for 10 minutes as instructed and my hair was instantly soft and shiny afterwards. Since using it a few more times, I've noticed that it does feel slightly stronger and less prone to breakage, and it's definitely more manageable and less frizzy overall. I have used it for longer times such as 20 and 30 minutes and my dry hair just sucks up all that goodness, though it works amazingly well as a 10 minute quick fix as well. Definitely one to try!

Ogario London Restore And Shine Hair Masque* (200ml, £28.50) is available from London based Whole Foods and Planet Organic stores, LoveLula.com and direct from ogariolondon.com
