Ogario Hydrate And Shine Shampoo & Conditioner review
Frizzy, dry hair can be seriously high maintenance to try and tame, so the right shampoo and conditioner can make a lot of difference.

Back in June, I raved about Ogario's Restore And Shine Hair Masque (post here) which is a must-try if you have dry or damaged hair like mine. I'd heard a lot of good things about the rest of their haircare range, so when these two bottles arrived at Wolves HQ, I was excited to test them out. Both of these have been specially formulated for dry and colour-treated hair, and are free from SLS, silicones and parabens.

Ogario Hydrate And Shine Shampoo* (250ml, £16.50, link)
The first thing that I instantly noticed about this shampoo is how insanely good it smells! It's a very uplifting citrusy scent with a touch of sweetness to it. The fragrance is all natural and comes from the cocktail of beneficial essential oils in the formula - for example there's Moringa Seed (helps to protect and deeply condition dry hair), Lavender (soothing and repairing) and Rosemary (strengthening) to name but a few. High up on the inci list is Provitamin B5 which is a fantastic ingredient for repairing damaged hair and helping to prevent split ends. This shampoo is just lovely to use as the scent creates a relaxing, spa-like atmosphere and the formula does a great job of gently cleansing the hair without stripping it, and is perfect to use if you want to get rid of any product build-up.

Ogario Hydrate And Shine Conditioner* (250ml, £18.50, link)
The matching conditioner is the ideal companion to the shampoo as it further adds essential hydration to the driest parts of the hair, which are often the lengths and delicate ends. Consistency is good as it's neither too thick nor too thin so you could happily use this on a daily basis without worrying that it's weighing down fine hair. Key ingredients such as Tamarind and Marshmallow give dry hair a much needed moisture boost without overdoing it, and I loved how soft and shiny my hair was afterwards, plus it was much more manageable and easier to style as most of the frizz had been eliminated as well.

This duo is expensive, but the ingredients are great, a little goes a long way as they're both quite concentrated formulas, and they work far better than some cheaper equivalents that I've tried. Worth a splurge IMO!

Have you tried anything from Ogario?
