Review: Beauteco Box - June 2013

Tuesday 18 June 2013

 Beauteco Box* (£10 + P&P, link)

Going through my post pile, I noticed this month's Beauteco box at the bottom, so I eagerly pulled it out and opened it up.  This, 'see what's inside before you buy', beauty subscription box seems to be proving fairly popular, so let's take a closer look at their offerings for June shall we?

Every month, Beauteco put up three 'menus' on their website detailing the contents of each one.  If you've signed up for a monthly subscription, you'll receive an email letting you know when the menus are available to view, and then you simply pick whichever one takes your fancy, sit back, and wait for it to be delivered to your doorstep.  Simples!

For June, I chose Box 2, which contained the following:-

Headline Colors Nail Polish in Glamour (full size, 10ml, £9)
Haven't heard of this brand before, but I'm eager to paint my nails with this stunning metallic gold at some point soon.  Formula is happily 3-free, so there's no Toulene, DBP or Formaldehyde.

Organic Surge Gentle Cleansing Lotion (full size, 200ml, £5.99)
I've been enjoying using Organic Surge's Citrus Mint Shower Gel in the mornings lately, so I was pleased to see one of their skincare items in the box.  This cleanser promises to gently remove make-up, dirt and impurities, so I'm looking forward to giving it a go.

Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream (10ml travel size, full size 15ml for £20)
I actually have a couple of these samples in my Wonder Woman Tin, so I really need to finally try it out when my current eye cream runs out!  Have heard a lot of good things, and it's great to come across an eye cream that's 99% natural.

Amie New Leaf Skin Exfoliating Polish (full size, 75ml, £4.95)
I've used some Amie products in the past, and particularly love their amazing Spring Clean Cooling Clay Mask so I have high hopes for this deep-pore cleansing exfoliator.  Smells really good!

Eve Of St Agnes Rose & Mango Butter Body Balm (travel size 30ml, full size is £12)
This smells very delicately scented of roses.  It's a thick and rich body butter which melts onto the skin to alleviate any dry areas, so it's ideal for elbows, heels, cuticles etc.  I'll be popping this into my handbag asap.

A great box this month with a lovely variety of products - all excellent sizes too.  Hard to beat that!

Did you receive a Beauteco box this month?

    1. They do! Really love how affordable they are too. The body balm is really nice, though it smells more of roses than mango :) x

  9. I just got my box today! I got box number one. I think I'll need to do a review of it as well but I want to see how well everything works for me over the week first, I have quite sensitive skin but all the products I got seem to be really natural so here's hoping :)

    1. It's cool isn't it? I think it will appeal to a lot of people, especially those who want to see what they'll be getting for their money rather than taking a risk each month x
