Review: Love Me Beauty Box - February 2014

Friday 14 February 2014

Just in time for Valentine's Day, my Love Me Beauty box arrived bright and early yesterday morning and I couldn't wait to open it up.  So without further ado, let's have a look at the contents shall we?

Percy & Reed No Fuss Flawlessness Dry Conditioner
(full size, £12)
My hairdresser has recently started stocking Percy & Reed in her salon and always raves about them so I'm looking forward to trying this out.  It's a dry conditioner spray which adds extra shine to the hair, and in this awful weather, I could certainly use some of that!

La Claree Ultra Melting Body Milk
(30ml travel size.  Full size is 200ml for £24)
I haven't come across this high end French name before, but they're an organic and natural brand which is always a huge appeal for me.  There was the option of a face moisturiser, cleanser and body milk in this month's menus, and I decided to go for the latter because I already have lots of skincare samples to use up at the moment.  Plus the 'Ultra Melting' part sounds wonderfully pampering.

The Bakewell Soap Company Multi Purpose Pocket Balm - Hard Working Formula
(full size, £3.95)
If you've been a long time reader, you'll know that I absolutely love multi-purpose products, especially balms, so I can't wait to try this one by The Bakewell Soap Company whose products are handmade in Derbyshire.  Like the La Claree, there were three different options for this one, all of which sounded really good.

Inner Me Beautify Me Vitamin Complex
(28 capsules, £15)
I'm always open to trying out new vitamins and food supplements and this 2 week supply from Inner Me promote themselves as the ultimate beauty supplement for skin, hair and nails.

Art Deco Hydra Lip Booster in 39
(full size, £11.50)
Last but not least, Love Me Beauty have included a surprise mystery product as an extra for Valentine's Day which will be one of their previous 'hero products'.  I received the Art Deco Hydra Lip Booster in 39 which is a great lipgloss.  Sadly for me, I received this same one in my November box, but luckily for my sister, she'll be receiving a little gift this weekend as I know she loves a bit of lip gloss!

Summary:
Another great value for money box from Love Me Beauty with four full sized products and a luxury travel sized sample.  The contents are worth over £35 and I always appreciate the well thought out mix of goodies that you receive.

Love Me Beauty box* is available to purchase for £10 + P&P via their website.

Did you receive a Love Me Beauty box this month?

  4. Looks like a solid box in terms of value for money! I can't live without dry shampoo but I don't believe I've ever heard of a 'dry conditioner' - that Percy & Reed one has me intrigued :)

  6. I'm still subscribed to Glossybox but the last few have been pretty uninspiring - this box seems to be getting a lot of love, I like the idea of the choices each month

    1. I used to sub to Glossybox last year but cancelled due to the boxes having lots of products that I didn't use or want. I much prefer Love Me Beauty because at least you know what you're going to get and if you don't like any of the choices, you can just skip that month and not waste any money! x
