July Empties: Products I've Used Up

Sunday 2 August 2015

July Empties
I've been testing out a lot of new products recently, so most of my empties this month are things that I use on a daily basis, plus some minis from my travel bag.

LUSH No Drought Dry Shampoo
This is probably my third or even fourth bottle that I've gone through and it's still one of my favourite dry shampoos. Admittedly, it is a little messy to use because it does come out as a pure powder, but it works so well and has a lovely citrusy scent. A little goes a long way too so it's very budget friendly in the long run! Repurchase? Yes.

Bee Good Vanilla & Honey Lip Balm*
I'm a big fan of Bee Good and their lip balm is fantastic for moisturising dry lips and keeping them happy.  It's a good one to use before going to bed as it's quite thick, so you can let it do its magic overnight.  Repurchase?  Will do once I've used up some others first.

REN Vita Mineral Daily Supplement Moisturising Cream*
My second tube of this and I'm still enjoying using it. It's light but hydrating and seems to suit my combination skin well. I always find that my makeup goes on quite smoothly after I've used this in the morning. I love the easy to use pump dispenser too. Repurchase? Definitely in the near future as I have some others moisturisers to use up first.

Balm Balm Balance Bath & Shower Oil
This is the last one from a set I received at Christmas and I'm sad to see it go!  I think these Balm Balm Bath Oils are hugely underrated and perform just as well as more higher end brands like NEOM and Aromatherapy Associates etc. The oils are super concentrated so you can get 2-3 baths out of just one 5ml bottle which is very impressive and great value for money. Repurchase? Yes.

Liz Earle Hand Repair
Another product that I feel is quite underrated and not really mentioned much is Liz Earle's Hand Repair. I've used this before in the past and received this mini in a GWP offer a few months ago. Gorgeous moisturising hand cream, completely non-sticky and non-greasy, with a great fresh scent. Repurchase? I seem to have acquired an abundance of hands creams recently, but I'll definitely pick this up again in the future.

Laura Mercier Full Blown Volume Supreme Mascara
Loved this - gave me big full lashes, held a curl well and didn't flake or smudge at all.  Received in a GWP and have used before.  Repurchase? The full size is pricey, but I do love the results so it's maybe something I would splurge on when I have a #feelingspendy moment!

    1. It's often hidden away in LUSH! My tip is to shake a TINY amount first into roots, massage it in and then apply more only if you need it x
