Roger & Gallet Gingembre Rouge Fresh Shower Gel & Eau Fraiche Fragrance review
I'm not a fan of these colder, darker evenings, so I'm bringing some summery light into my bathroom by using these two fresh and uplifting products from Roger & Gallet's Gingembre range.

I always find it difficult to describe scents, so let's see what the brand have to say about it by imaginging the following (taken from their press release):-

"Ultramarine skies, the warmth of sun, red laterite dust trails and the surrounding sea capture the escapism of Zanzibar, and the spicy and addictive notes that come together to create the colourful explosion of Gingembre Rouge."

Well! By spritizing their Gingembre Rouge Fresh Fragrant Water Spray* (30ml, £17, link), I can definitely pick up on that gingery spiciness, and it's a very uplifting and certainly is a 'fresh' scent. To my nose, it mixes this with fruity and floral tones as there are strong notes of Mandarin, Pomegrante, Lychee that are quite dominant in the blend. It's not a typical fragrance that I would have chosen for myself but it's one that has grown on me and I've received quite a few compliments from people asking what it is when I've worn it. I think it would make a good gift choice if you're shopping for a perfume fan this Christmas, but you want something a bit different from the usual designer brands out there. The bottle is gorgeous too, and feels really high end.

To compliment the fragrance, Roger & Gallet have added a new Gingembre Fresh Shower Gel* (200ml, £9.50, link) to the range which is parabens, sulfates, soap and colourants free. This is great for layering the scent as it's one that lingers wonderfully on the skin.

Have you tried anything from Roger & Gallet's Gingembre Rouge range?
