I've read a lot of about the benefits of using magnesium flakes in your bath, but it wasn't until I actually tried them out for myself, did I fully understand (and appreciate!) just how incredible this all-natural mineral is. Hence, bathing in magnesium flakes basically allows the skin to drink up all that goodness, at a safe level that your body can handle and process. Easy!
What are the additional health benefits to bathing with magnesium flakes and who can use them?

How do I use them?
For a bath, I generally use about a quarter of the bag (around 250g is preferable) and I have a good soak for at least half an hour. They don't really have a scent to them (sort of sea salt like but not strong to my nose), so I like to add a few drops of essential oils to maximise my 'me' time and create more of a spa-like atmosphere. I haven't tried them as a foot soak yet, but you can give this a go with around 150g in 5 litres of water.
My overall thoughts?
I have a lot of problems sleeping, I often feel stressed or anxious, and I suffer from eczema flare ups every now and again, so I've really noticed the benefits of having a magnesium bath! They help to calm my mind which in turn gives me a better night's sleep, and my skin feels wonderfully soft when I get out of the tub. Highly recommended.
