September Favourites
I'm running a little late with posting my September Favourites, but here they are! A special handful of what I've been loving lately covering a bit of skincare, makeup and some pampering treats.

ghd Paddle Brush* (£20, link)
My old paddle brush from Nicky Clarke was starting to look worse for wear recently (it had kept me going for at least 5 or 6 six years though!), so I was in the market for a new replacement brush and saw this one on Hairtrade. My hairdresser always uses ghd brushes on me and has spoken highly about the quality of them so I decided to give one a go. She was completely right - this paddle brush is much better for blow-drying my hair straight than my old one and it feels very sturdy and well made. It's great for my long, tangly hair, and makes styling it a lot faster and easier overall. Worth the splurge if you're looking to invest in a new paddle brush!

Vichy Pore Purifying Clay Mask* (75ml, £14, link)
Hot on the heels of L'Oreal's Clay Masks, comes Vichy's new ones, and I have to say that I like the Vichy version a lot more. Their Pore Purifying Clay Mask is a very clarifying treatment aimed at oily skin types, that uses Kaolin and Bentonite clays to help draw out impurities, clear out pores and regulate sebum production. It goes on quite thick so you don't need much, and it has a sort of earthy-meets-incense scent about it that I like. This mask gets to work in just 5 minutes so it's perfect as a quick mid-week fix if your skin is feeling congested, and I've been impressed with the results. After washing it off, my skin feels thoroughly clean, looks clearer and doesn't feel too tight or dry.

Dolce & Gabbana Nail Lacquer in Raspberry* (10ml, £21 - full review on the collection here
There are numerous pieces from D&G's latest Wild About Fall Collection that I've been enjoying using, but the one that's surprisingly received the most compliments is this nail lacquer in the shade Raspberry. It's one of those gorgeous Autumnal berry shades that looks a lot more vampy on the nails than it does in the bottle, and just seems to go with everything.
September Favourites
Dermalogica Phyto Replenish Oil* (30ml, £62, link)
Dermalogica's packaging always looks so simple and unassuming, but this oil packs a real punch when it comes to protecting the skin! Usually, it takes me a while to start to see results with a lot of face oils and moisturisers, but I can already see a difference after using this every morning for just four weeks now. It's formulated with the likes of Camellia Oil, Tamanu Oil, Chia Seed Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Orchid Flower and Rosemary extracts, yet it feels completely lightweight and more like a dry oil, than a traditional face oil. Thanks to this composition, it absorbs rapidly into the skin, keeping in moisture, plumping and smoothing fine lines and giving my face a 'shield' against the elements. This is something that I would particularly recommend to those who don't like the feel of greasy oils or don't like the idea of using an oil, because it's completely different to anything else I've tried before. Bonus points are awarded for the multi-purpose uses of this oil too as you use it underneath foundation or mixed in with your moisturiser to get a lovely dewy glow.

Ciate London Wonderwand Mascara* (9.5ml, £19.50, link)
It's not often that I rave about a new mascara as so many that I try are disappointing, however this new launch from Ciate is definitely worth the hype. I've been wearing this and only this practically everyday for the past month - it's that good! Billed as an 'intense 3D volume mascara', Wonderwand gives me that coveted falsies effect by adding lots of volume and length to my natural lashes. It reminds me of a cross between Benefit's They're Real (but easier to remove) and Too Faced's Better Than Sex (and marginally cheaper than both!). It can get a little clumpy if you layer it too much, but I don't mind that too much as I love how my lashes look after just two coats of this.

Bodhi & Birch Sicilian Rose Body Oil* (100ml, £42, link)
For all of you pampering princesses (and princes!) out there, Bodhi & Birch's new Body Oils are simply incredible. I featured my favourite scent, Sicilian Rose, in my Organic Beauty Week Pampering Edit here and I just can't recommend it enough. The sunny Mediterranean floral scent is beautiful, the glass bottle packaging is stunning and the oil is divine slathered all other after a hot bath. Be careful though, after experiencing one of these body oils, you might just have to spoil yourself even further and pick up the other scents in the range.
