July Beauty Favourites

Monday 5 August 2013

I'm a little late with posting these favourites, but hopefully it's not too late!  I've discovered quite a few amazing products recently, some of which may be even be HG quality.  Ooooo....

YUKO Anti-Frizz Leave In Conditioner* - (review)
Simply put, if you have frizzy hair that you want to tame, then you need to try this.  It's one of the best anti-frizz products I've ever used and I love that it feels completely weightless in the hair.  Plus it smells really good.

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette
I've been using this virtually everyday since I received it for my birthday in June.  All of the neutral/taupe based shades are beautiful, and there are so many different looks you can create.  I *may* be giving one of these away to a lucky reader sometime this month so keep your eyes peeled!

A'kin Express Purifying Facial Masque
A superb kaolin clay based mask which draws out all impurities within a matter of minutes.  I highly recommend this to anyone who has blemish-prone or oily/combination skin, because it's one of the few clay masks I've tried which doesn't feel horribly drying afterwards.

Organic Surge Eye Gel* - (review)
I dislike using heavy eye creams in the summer months, so always try and switch to a good gel formula instead.  This one absorbs quickly into the skin and has the added benefit of being very soothing and kind to irritated/hayfever sore eyes.

The Body Shop Born Lippy Stick Lip Balm in Toffee
Now I don't love this lip balm just because it tastes and smells exactly like toffee; I love it because it does that and is incredibly moisturising too!

Jurlique Essence Of Rose Roll On Fragrance Oil* - (review)
A delicate natural rose fragrance that's light and modern, packaged in a sleek, glass roll on tube.  What more could you want?

What are your current beauty favourites?

    1. I've never been a fan of John Frieda products TBH, always found they caused a lot of residual build up in my hair and didn't really do anything for me. I adore the YUKO one though, it's incredible stuff x

  7. I've been on the fence about whether I should buy the Naked 2 palette or not. Then I start considering the Naked palette and it has all become such a mess that I still haven't purchased either of them.
The Jurlique Rose Roll On sounds lovely. I love roll on fragrances. :)

    1. It's a hard one - I'd say that you technically don't need both of them if that helps!

  10. I am still desperate to get the UD 2 palette so I will be keeping my eyes peeled incase you do a giveaway! That Bodyshop balm sounds intriguing. I always always forget to go into their stores whenever I am shopping and I always forget how good and cost effective their products are, so I will definitely be having a look. I have been loving the Pukka serum I received in Glossybox last month, it's working a treat! x

The Body Shop are great, especially when they have sales on, which is well, all the time!
Happy to hear you're a fan of Pukka :) x
