The Sunday Pamper with REN Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil

Sunday 16 March 2014

The weather this weekend has been gloriously sunny, so I took full advantage and spent it with my friend Sophie in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, eating far too much local cheese and walking her dogs.  Now that I'm back home, I'm looking forward to a spot of pampering with a long bath.
Just before Christmas, REN kindly sent me a personalised bottle of their gorgeous Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil as a little gift and it's been taking pride of place in my bathroom ever since.  If you caught last month's InStyle Magazine with their Best Beauty Buys supplement, you'll no doubt have seen that REN won the Best Shower Gel category with their Moroccan Rose Body Wash and this luxury bath oil shares the same fragrance but in a more concentrated form.

I love bath oils and have to say that this is one of my absolute favourites, along with the likes of NEOM and Aromatherapy Associates (so if you love products from those two, you'll get on well with REN).  The Moroccan Rose Otto scent is 100% natural and both modern and fresh, yet still very understated and feminine at the same time.  I'd say it's an overall subtle rose fragrance, but it's one that lingers throughout the duration of a long bath and I can always smell an hour or so afterwards in my bathroom, though it's not overpowering or cloying at all.

To use, I just drizzle a small amount (you really don't need a lot!) into a full tub, climb in and enjoy a good, luxurious bath.  As well as Rose Otto Oil, it also has Geranium and Palmarosa Oils so my skin always feels hydrated when I step out.  A beautiful pampering treat for yourself and an ideal gift for Mother's Day.

REN Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil* retails for £30 for 110ml.  Available from John Lewis and various stockists instores and online.

For Mother's Day, REN have released a special edition version in 'Mum's packaging which I think is so sweet!  Exclusive from REN

  1. This sounds heavenly! It's such a shame that I don't have a tub to use bath products in. I've heard so many lovely things about this product and I'm definitely going to be purchasing this when I have a tub in my house. xx

    1. No, you're not alone, my sister isn't much of a fan either though she has started to try out other floral scents so may come around to rose in the future :)
