April Favourites

Monday 5 May 2014

Last month I discovered a handful of shiny new products which are all amazing, so without further ado, here are my April beauty Favourites.

The biggest change up products wise for me lately has been makeup, thanks to promise of sunnier days coming up.  Living Nature Summer Bronze Pressed Powder* is my current favourite bronzer.  It's beautifully pigmented and works well for contouring too, plus it gives a lovely healthy glow to the skin.  I've also been picking up Aveda Nourish Mint Smoothing Lip Colour in Peruvian Lily* for those times when I've been craving a bright pink lip.  I can imagine myself wearing both of these all summer long!  Another makeup related favourite has been the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush which I've been using with both liquid and mineral foundations, as well as for blush and contouring.

Skincare wise, I've been loving the rich and creamy formula of REN Centifolia Hot Cloth Cleanser* for deep cleansing and removing my makeup at the end of the day.  And for general pampering, my dry skin has been lapping up Lyonsleaf Body Butter* which is frankly incredible and makes my skin ridiculously soft after I've used it.

What are your current beauty favourites?

  4. Is there much difference between the Buffing Brush & Expert Face Brush? Love the look of it but just wondering if I really need both.

    1. The main difference I've found is that I prefer applying liquid foundations and BB creams a lot more with the Expert Face Brush than the Buffing Brush as the shape of it helps me to get a better coverage overall without it going cakey. I love the Buffing Brush for mineral foundations so I guess it depends on what formulas you like? xx

  10. I'm so tired of seeing that makeup brush everywhere! It's making me want to buy some for myself. Haha.

My current beauty fav is my new Naked 3 palette - I'm pretty sure it will continue to be my top pick until the 4th comes out!
