Summer is without a doubt my favourite season of the year (I wish I could live somewhere sunny all year round, I really do!) but all that humidity can wreak havoc with your hair.  So if your hair is currently re-enacting that scene with Monica from Friends, this is the post for you.

Frizzy hair seems to be a common problem and most mainstream haircare brands often have a range dedicated purely for combatting this FWP.  Over the years, I have tried and tested many, but ultimately, these are five of the best products I've come across so far.

Macadamia Natural Oil Control Fast Drying Working Spray* (link)
My hairdresser taught me the clever trick of spraying your brush with a little bit of hairspray and then combing it through your hair to help reduce flyaways.  I especially like doing this when I've straightened my hair to keep it sleek and smooth for longer.  This hairspray from Macadamia is non-sticky and feels weightless, so it's ideal for this purpose.

Percy & Reed Wonder Balm (link)
Before this gem came out, I'd never entertained the idea of using a hair primer in my styling routine, but Wonder Balm really does what it says on the tin.  It works in the same principle as a makeup primer in that it helps other products that you layer on top of it to stay put for longer.  As an added bonus, it does an excellent job of keeping frizz at bay.

TIGI Bedhead Urban Anti-dotes Re-Energize Treatment Mask* (link)
Hair masks are a great way of guaranteeing that you'll have a good hair day and I've been using this new one from TIGI Bedhead for over a month now.  I generally use it once a week and it makes my hair silky soft and bouncy with zero frizz.  I find that the frizz is tamed for at least 2 days after using this, so it's a good one to slap on when you know if you've got a busy weekend ahead.

Dr. Organic Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Treatment Serum (link)
I've mentioned this a couple of times and it's one of my all time favourite hair serums.  It can be used towel-dried hair before blow drying or on dry hair as a general all round styling aid.  It smoothes the hair and gets rid of any hint of frizz along the way.

YUKO Anti-Frizz Leave-In Conditioner* (link)
Saving the best to last, YUKO's Anti-Frizz range is one of the best on the market and their Leave-In Conditioner is the main product I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who really struggles to combat dry and unruly hair.  The special formula is heat-activated, so you can use it with any of your hot hair tools and it'll leave you with most frizz-free swish worthy hair around.

What products do you use for frizzy hair?
