 Inika Professional Brush Roll review

 Inika Professional Brush Roll review
Inika, the Aussie, vegan friendly, organic luxury brand, are well known for their mineral makeup and green credentials.  But I wasn't aware of just how good their makeup brushes were until now. Whilst some of Inika's brushes are available to purchase separately, if you're feeling spendy, they have a complete set of full size brushes available in their Professional Brush Roll.
 Inika Professional Brush Roll review

Wrapped up in thick, quality black canvas material, the Professional Brush Roll has everything a newbie makeup fan could want to get started with.  And for makeup artists and frequent travellers, the roll is a convenient way to have a whole set of quality brushes wrapped up and ready to go. There's even a clever flap / foldover piece that protects the brush heads whilst in transit (as shown above).

Serious makeup brush eye candy right there.

Inside Inika's Professional Brush Roll you'll find 8 full size brushes, all featuring sleek black handles and Inika's luxe gold branding.  The brushes are all vegan friendly and cruelty free as they are made from high quality synthetic fibres that are soft and silky to the touch.  As they are synthetic, they are particularly ideal to use with any cream products, but work very well with powders too.  I haven't had this set for long, but can say they've been washed once so far and I didn't experience any issues with shedding or loose fibres.  The bristles feel very securely packed into their handles.

[From L-R: Concealer Brush, Foundation Brush, Blush Brush]

Concealer Brush - Rounded flat brush, useful for when you need to apply concealer in larger areas e.g a breakout on the chin etc.

Foundation Brush - Traditional flat brush, great for using with heavier coverage foundations for a more precise finish.

Blush Brush - Seriously soft, super easy size to work with and could be used to apply bronzer and contouring products as well.  Blends powder blush like a dream!

[From L-R: Precision Brush, Angle Brush, Lip Brush, Eyebrow Shaper, Blending Brush]

Precision Brush - Standard double sided brush featuring a lash comb and bristle end for tidying up eyebrows.

Angle Brush - Excellent small size to use with gel eyeliners for cat eye flicks and great to use with eyebrow powders too for a precise finish.

Lip Brush - Small thin tip, perfect for using with highly pigmented lipsticks for a flawless pout. Also can be used for pin point concealer application too.  Love the cap!

Eyebrow Shaper - I would personally use the Angle Brush to fill in my brows, but if yours are thicker, this one would probably suit you better as it has a wider edge to it.

Blending Brush - Perfect for both cream and powder eyeshadows, especially if you want a quick and easy way to pack on a base or single colour.

Inika Professional Brush Roll* retails for £49 and is available from various online stockists and direct from inikacosmetics.co.uk
