There is something incredibly timeless yet contemporary at the same time about Liz Earle and her range of perfumes certainly reflect that notion. I feel that this fragrance in particular could have been created in the 1920s but at the same time, it has a certain freshness about it which brings it bang up to date to 2015.
Liz Earle's Botanical Essence No.100 was originally created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of famous Chelsea Flower Show and has been added to the permanent range through popularity and customer demand. This 89% natural Eau De Parfum is described as the scent that you experience when you walk into a florists and I have to agree completely. It's unashamedly floral, bursting with notes of Damask Rose, Indian Jasmine and Orange Flower. Underneath that, you have a warm sensual and uplifting base of Bourbon Vanilla, Cypress, Sandalwood, Mandarin and Bergamot. You can also layer this with other Liz Earle fragrances as they compliment each other very well!
As well as the enchanting scent, the bottle itself is beautifully classic and feels weighty and luxurious, whilst the outer presentation box features an elegant old-fashioned design. A gift that no one could be disappointed with.
