Everyone seems to be getting on the Fifty Shades of Grey bandwagon and I'm certainly not going to be left out! Today I'm featuring Nailberry's aptly named '50 Shades' which is part of their latest Naughty Berry collection.
Nailberry's 50 Shades is described as 'a satin black with nuances of grey'. Whilst black is the base colour, there's enough grey in there to give it a special edge and to keep things looking interesting. The cruelty free, oxygenated, 4 free formula (free from Formaldehyde, Toulene, DBP and Camphor) is a little on the thin side and does take some getting used to (my application technique with this wasn't perfect on the first try as you can see above), but once it's dry, it almost looks like liquid latex has been painted directly onto the nails - the shine is super glossy and eye catching.
I've had a quick rummage of my nail polish stash and I can't find anything remotely similar to this so I love how different it is to everything else that I own. Nailberry's 50 Shades is part of the Naughty Berry collection which features cringeworthy names like Orgasmic Berry, Berry Job and Pop My Cherry, Number 69 etc, but if you can get past that, the colours do look gorgeous!
Nailberry 50 Shades* (15ml, £13.50) is available various stockists including direct from nailberry.co.uk
