Christmas Gift Guide 2019: Stocking Fillers For Party Girls - Nails Edit
Looking for stocking fillers or secret Santa ideas for that gal in your social circle/office who just can't wait for the biggest party of the year? This special Nails Edit shares some affordable options with everything featured £15 or under!

Christmas Gift Guide 2019: Stocking Fillers For Party Girls - Nails Edit
Leighton Denny Large Crystal Nail File* (£15.50, link)
OK, so I'm cheating a little bit by including this as it's 50p over the £15 mark, however, there is a smaller Crystal Nail File from Leighton Denny that you can pick up for £12.50 if you're sticking to a secret Santa budget! I think this is a good choice for that person who has everything, but who adores manicures and all things nails. It's guaranteed to last a lifetime and has been described as the 'Rolls Royce' of nails files, winning numerous awards, so why not invest in the best?! You can also pick it up from Boots and stock up on your loyalty points - win-win!

Leighton Denny Nail Polish* (£12, link)
A luxury, high-quality nail polish is something that can take pride of place on a makeup junkie's vanity table and with a huge variety of on-trend colours and finishes to choose from, there's something for everyone who loves playing with nail polish. My top pick would be the shade above which is called Fedora from Leighton Denny's new AW 19/20 collection. It's a stunning, rich, warm and muted purple cream that goes with everything. Heads up - M&S have currently got these in on a 3 for 2 offer if you're looking to purchase multiple stocking fillers.

Christmas Gift Guide 2019: Stocking Fillers For Party Girls - Nails Edit
KISS Glam Fantasy & Gel Fantasy Nail Sets* (£7.99 each, link)
You can't beat a set of eye-catching falsies for that all-important NYE party and these ready-to-wear nails can be worn with nail glue or applied with adhesive tabs. There are loads of different designs and shades available in both the Glam Fantasy and Gel Fantasy ranges from KISS, so you'll be simply spoilt for choice! Both ranges have a realistic gel nail effect with an ultra-smooth finish to help you party the night away.

imPRESS Press-On Manicure Sets* (£7.99, link)
If you're looking for a less OTT nail kit, why not try the imPRESS Press-On Manicure Sets? These super easy to apply falsies come in a shorter length which makes them more wearable for most people, and they still offer the benefits of a gorgeous gel nail finish. I really like these for special occasions and they're great for those who aren't too confident at painting their own nails. Like the KISS sets above, these are also currently on offer in Superdrug.

Autumn Colours: CND Vinylux Wild Earth Collection A/W 2018 - Review & Swatches

CND Vinylux Wild Earth Collection - Review & Swatches
The nights are already getting darker, there's a chill in the air and the ground is covered in crunchy fallen leaves; Autumn is officially here and CND's Wild Earth Collection for A/W 2018 has all the on-trend shades that your nails are craving right now.

Inspired by ‘Mother Earth’s endless array of textures, magnificent colour palette and breathtaking landscapes’, this shiny new collection from CND has colours to suit everyone's skin tone and there's enough variation in these six shades to keep things interesting all Autumn and Winter long. All of the below are available in the brand's Shellac and Vinylux formulas too, so let's jump into the swatches!

CND Vinylux Nail Polish in Spear
CND Vinylux Nail Polish in Spear*

Spear is a beautiful muted terracotta peach that will instantly appeal to those who like to stick with more neutral/nude shades - in fact, this would be a stunning nail polish for a bride that's looking for something chic, but different. It's very elegant and applied smoothly in just two coats.

CND Vinylux Nail Polish in Element
 CND Vinylux Polish in Element*

For something much louder, Element is a bright warmed toned red that looks amazing on both fingers and toes (I'm actually wearing it on my toes as I type!). I usually stick to these types of reds during Summer, but there's something very cheery about applying a fresh slick of bright red to the when it's cold and raining outside. Two coats is all you need.

CND Vinylux Polish in Brimstone
 CND Vinylux Polish in Brimstone*

Ooo now this is an unusual shade! I'm not quite sure what to call Brimstone - it's kinda like a pale beige with a hint of yellow and grey thrown into the mix. I didn't immediately fall in love with it, but the more I wear it, the more it grows on me. This took just two coats to reach full opacity.

CND Vinylux Polish in Arrowhead
 CND Vinylux Polish in Arrowhead*

Arrowhead is one of my favourites from this Wild Earth collection and it ticks all the right Autumnal boxes for me. It's a really beautiful rich and earthy, deep chocolatey mauve colour that applies so smoothly like all of the other polishes in this range. Simply stunning. I could have gotten away with two coats, but I did three thin coats to really seal the deal.

 CND Vinylux Polish in Dreamcatcher
 CND Vinylux Polish in Dreamcatcher*

Despite purple being one of my favourite colours, I don't actually own many purple nail polishes so Dreamcatcher has quickly become a new obsession. It's such a pretty shade of light purple/plum and has a very youthful and fun element to it. Two easy coats again.

CND Vinylux Polish in Blue Moon
CND Vinylux Polish in Blue Moon*

I'm a sucker for a deep, glossy navy blue, especially during the colder months, and Blue Moon has totally stolen my heart. It is drop dead gorgeous in every way, from the silky smooth application to the high-shine, gel-like finish, I just can't enough of these inky blues! Excellent two coat coverage too.

Shop the full range at NailPolishDirect.co.uk where all of these polishes are currently on sale for £6.95 each (RRP £9.95)

New In Beauty: CND Vinylux Boho Spirit Summer 2018 Collection - Review & Swatches

CND Vinylux Boho Spirit Summer 2018 Collection - Review & Swatches
One of my favourite things about the Summer months are all the new nail polish collections that come out, and CND's Vinylux Boho Spirit collection is giving me some serious holiday and festival vibes. Bring on the bright shades and try on some new pastel-esque hues while you're at it!

CND Vinylux is a specialist long-wearing nail polish range, and when used in conjunction with their Weekly Top Coat (which I've reviewed in the past here), you can usually get around 5-7 days worth of chip-free happiness on your talons. The brush is the perfect size for getting an easy level of coverage on in two quick coats and the shade range is vast and beautiful, with new collections being released all the time.

Here are some swatches of CND's latest Boho Spirit Collection for Summer 2018:-

CND Vinylux - Gypsy
CND Vinylux - Gypsy

Most of the oranges in my nail polish stash are bright neons that often veer onto a matte-ish finish, so it's refreshing to come across a shade like this which still retains a summery brightness, but has a much more creamier and smoother finish to it. Gypsy is such a beauty and looks amazing on toes too.

CND Vinylux - Unihibited
CND Vinylux - Unihibited

If you're looking for something that's classically pretty and office-friendly, Unhibited ticks all the right boxes. It's a stunning peachy-nude pink that looks very flattering on and goes with pretty much any outfit. Applies easily in just two creme laden coats and although I was half-expecting a hint of golden shimmer with a shade like this, it's completely shimmer-free like all the colours in this particular collection.

CND Vinylux - Offbeat
CND Vinylux - Offbeat

I'm a sucker for a hot pink-red and Offbeat did not disappoint. It brings all those coveted bright summery vibes that will finish off your look in no time at all. I literally live in shades like this and it's going to be hard for me to want to wear anything else this Summer! Two easy coats gives you the shiny result above.

CND Vinylux - Vagabond
CND Vinylux - Vagabond

I'm not gonna lie - the first time that I set eyes on Vagabond, I simply thought it was going to be one of those colours that I really dislike because these creamy, pale, mustardy yellows can be super tricky to pull off. Surprisingly though, it's been growing on me, so if you're looking for something new, different and on-trend to wear, definitely check it out.

CND Vinylux Polishes* (15ml, £9.95 each) are available from various stockists including NailPolishDirect.co.uk

Which one is your favourite shade?

Pacifica 7-Free Nail Polishes - Review & Swatches
Pacifica is a brand that are mainly known for their exotic fragrances, but did you know that they also do a range of makeup as well? I reviewed their bestselling Solar Colour Mineral Palette last year (click here if you missed it) and I've been curious to try more of their cosmetics ever since. A few weeks ago, a package of their 7-free Nail Polishes arrived on my doorstep and I couldn't wait to try them out!

Pacifica prides itself on being cruelty-free and all of their products are also suitable for vegans to use, so I wasn't surprised to see that their Nail Polishes are 7-free (formulated without Parabens, Phthalates (dibutyl phthalate), Toluene, Xylene, Camphor, Formaldehyde and Resin). The bottles have a contemporary square design and feature the brand's seashell/beach themed print in gold wrapped around the lid which I think looks super cute. But as always, it's what's inside that counts and these nail polishes are certainly on a par quality-wise with many of its mainstream counterparts.

The brush is a good size (slightly thinner and smaller than some other brands, which allows for a more precise application), and the polish glides on smoothly for a richly pigmented level of coverage in just two coats. They took a little longer than expected to fully dry, but the results were definitely worth it with a beautiful glossy finish, even without the top coat.

Pacifica Nail Polish in Pink Moon swatches review
Pacifica Nail Polish in Pink Moon*

Pink Moon is a pale pastel pink that has just enough brightness to it to make it stand out from the other nude-pinks that I have in my nail polish collection. It applied easily in just two coats for an opaque true-to-the-bottle colour. A good one to try for Spring!

Pacifica Nail Polish in Drift review swatches
Pacifica Nail Polish in Drift*

Drift, on the other hand, is one of those gorgeous, super easy-to-wear mauvey taupes that always seems to go with practically any outfit. Like Pink Moon, this one also applied nicely in two coats and had an even glossier finish to it.  I really love the subtle purple undertones and if you look closely, it has the tiniest hint of iridescent shimmer that makes it even more pretty.

Pacifica Gloss Top & Base Coat*
I also tested out the Gloss Top & Base Coat which provided a lovely smooth base for the polish, and finished it off with a slick of shiny gloss for a gel-like look. I noticed that I got around 2-3 days worth of wear when I wore the polishes on their own before I started to see some chipping occur, but with this Top Coat, you can definitely stretch it out to an extra day or so which isn't too bad for a more natural formula!

Pacifica Nail Polishes (13.3ml, RRP £9.99 each) are available from JandeVrieshealth.co.uk

Trying Out LOLA Makeup: Review & Swatches
New in my makeup bag this month have been an array of products from British makeup brand, LOLA. Let's have a swatch and play!

If you're a fan of M&S' ever expanding beauty departments, you may have spotted a brand called LOLA Makeup by PerseLOLA has been specially designed by a creative team of British make-up artists and beauty experts to give consumers high-qualitycruelty-free products that are just as good as any of the other makeup brands that are used by the pros in the beauty industry. The brand has been on my beauty radar for a while now since I tried some of their fantastic nail polishes, but this is the first time that I've tested out their proper makeup range. The packaging is nice and sleek with heavy glass bottles for their foundations and black rubberized NARS-esque casing for their powders and lipsticks.

Below are some of LOLA's best sellers that I've been trying out:-

LOLA Perfect Base Smooth Base Primer* (15ml, £14.95, link)
If you have oily or combination skin like I do, you'll love this primer as it offers a matte finish and helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and large pores. It has a velvety texture to it, which perfectly preps the skin for makeup by creating a nice smooth base to work on. At first, I was slightly alarmed by the fact that the tube is very small and you only get 15ml of product, but you only need to use the tiniest amount to cover a full face. This primer has managed to keep my makeup in place throughout the recent heatwave that we had over the Bank Holiday weekend, so it gets a thumbs up from me!

LOLA Picture Perfect Liquid Foundation and Primer
LOLA Picture Perfect Liquid Foundation in Medium Beige R004* (25ml, £19, link
This foundation looks incredibly luxurious with its satisfyingly heavy and frosted glass packaging, so I was really looking forward to testing it out and I'm pleased to say that it didn't disappoint. LOLA's Picture Perfect Liquid Foundation aims to give you an 'airbrushed and front cover ready' finish and features an innovative pearlescent powder in the formula which helps to hide imperfections by reflecting the light. It's free from parabens and alcohol, and the inbuilt pump is one of the best I've tried as it dispenses just the right amount of product each time.

I found that this foundation blended into the skin well with both a Beauty Blender Sponge and a Buffing / Foundation Brush, but it does have a tendency to cling to any dry bits, so make sure that you moisturise or prime your skin properly before applying to get the best results. The finish was lightweight, very natural looking and you can achieve a really good level of light-to-medium coverage without it looking cakey. Does it give me airbrushed skin? Kinda - the light-reflecting tech certainly helps to give the skin a glowy/radiant look, but you will need some extra concealer to completely mask things like dark spots and acne scars. For my skin though, this foundation is really great and I've been enjoying using it - the coverage is just right for me as I prefer a more natural finish and I love how lightweight it feels on the skin.

LOLA Highlighter review swatches
LOLA Highlighter in 001* (3g, £10.95, link)
Highlighters fan will love this gorgeous peachy champagne shade that adds an instant glow and really helps to brighten up your complexion. It feels like creamy powder in the pan and applies effortlessly onto the skin, blending like a dream. The formula contains light-reflecting and light-diffusing particles for a natural looking pearlescent sheen. I love this and it's compact enough to pop into your travel bag.

LOLA Satin Eyeshadow in Pale Grey 015* (2.5g, £7.50, link)
These single eyeshadows are slightly smaller than the highlighters, but they share many of the same qualities. The texture is very similar, as they're silky soft to the touch, blend easily and this shade Pale Grey has a lovely delicate shimmer to it. I'm not the biggest fan of single eyeshadows personally, as I prefer to splash out on a palette instead, but if you love your mono shadows, be sure to check these out as they are great quality.

LOLA Intense & Longlasting Lipsticks
LOLA Intense & Matte Longlasting Lipsticks* (4g, £12 each, link)
LOLA have a range of lipsticks in different finishes and I've been playing with these three. They all come in sleek black packaging and the shade range is pretty impressive, as are the formulas. The Intense Lipsticks are super pigmented and give you an opaque colour with just one easy swipe on the lips (with the exception of Strawberry Fields which required two coats below), and the Matte Longlasting Lipsticks deliver the same ultra-rich colour but with a semi-matte finish. Best of all though, they feel really comfortable on the lips thanks to a formula of Hyaluronic Acid, Peptides, Antioxidants and Plant Extracts to nourish and plump. Brilliant stuff!

LOLA Intense Colour Lipstick in Strawberry Fields 007
LOLA Intense Colour Lipstick in Strawberry Fields 007

The sheerest of the three, Strawberry Fields is light but still offers opaque colour in two coats. This blue-toned, pale pink with a pearlescent shimmer to it, really makes the lips look much plumper! A great everyday shade if you like a subtle shine to your pout without wearing a lipgloss.

LOLA Matte Longlasting Lipstick in Pink Martini 116
LOLA Matte Longlasting Lipstick in Pink Martini 116

Pink Martini is one of LOLA's Matte Longlasting Lipsticks and it's a bright hot pink shade that glides on smoothly in just one coat. As mentioned earlier, it doesn't feel drying at all and has a semi-matte finish to it, plus it lasts for a good couple of hours without smudging or transferring.

LOLA Intense Colour Lipstick in Raspberry Red 008
LOLA Intense Colour Lipstick in Raspberry Red 008

If you're after a new red lippie, try this one! Raspberry Red is a sizzling hot, pink-toned red which tends to suit me more than most straight-up reds. It's intensely rich and pigmented and gives you full coverage colour with one easy coat.

LOLA Ultra Shine Nail Polish in Prom Queen 039
LOLA Ultra Shine Nail Polish in Prom Queen 039* (11ml, £8, link)
When you're shopping at the LOLA stand, make sure you don't skip pass their Ultra Shine Nail Polishes because they are really good and not to be missed. I have a couple of shades in my collection and all of them have fantastic formulas with a mega-glossy finish. I'm currently loving this shade called Prom Queen which is a gorgeous pinky coral - looks pretty on toes too!

LOLA Makeup is available at selected M&S stores and you can shop the full range online at lolamakeup.com

Beauty Box: LoveLula Beauty Box - August 2017 review

LoveLula Beauty Box - August 2017 review
After seeing a couple of spoilers, I was excited to receive this month's LoveLula Beauty Box as it contains some new, just launched products and tea!

Here's what I found inside August's box:-

PHB Natural & Organic Eye Liner in Brown
PHB Natural & Organic Eye Liner in Brown (full size, RRP £10.95)

Last month, LoveLula included a fantastic mascara from PHB (reviewed here), and this month they've added a full-size eyeliner pencil from the brand. This is the product that I'm the least excited about in the box as I don't tend to use brown eyeliner very often, so I'll be passing this onto my mum who will get more use out of it than I will.

Balm Balm Organic Chamomile Floral Water Hydrosol
Balm Balm Organic Chamomile Floral Water Hydrosol (30ml travel size, RRP £8.50)

You guys know how much I love multi-purpose products, and this Chamomile Floral Water Hydrosol from Balm Balm is totally up my street! You can use it as a facial toner mist, a soothing spray for irritated skin areas all over the body, and as a relaxing spritz for pillows and linens. It's 100% natural and kind enough to use on a baby.

Glossworks Nail Polish in Name Of The Rose and 3-in1
Glossworks Nail Polish in Name Of The Rose and 3-in1
Glossworks Nail Polish in Name Of The Rose and 3-in1 (full sizes, £12 each)

Recently launched on LoveLula is the brand new range of Glossworks nail products and I was really excited to try these out as they're vegan-friendly, cruelty-free and have a 9-free formula (they're free from Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Toluene, DBP, Camphor, Paraben, Xylene, Ethyl Tosylamide and Lead).

The 3-in-1 is a base coat, top coat and hardener product and the nail polish that I received is in the shade 'Name Of The Rose', which as you can see, is a beautiful hot pink shade that's perfect for Summer. This nail polish applied smoothly in two coats and has a lovely gel-like finish and shine to it.

Beauty Brews Verve Organic Rooibos & Orange Tea
Beauty Brews Verve Organic Rooibos & Orange Tea (full size, RRP £9.50)

Lastly, I found a tin of Beauty Brews Organic Tea in Verve - a Rooibos and Orange blend. I absolutely love the Beauty Brews loose leaf teas and have reviewed them in the past here, but this is the first time that I've tried the Verve flavour. This is a really delicious and tasty tea with strong fruity notes of Orange, Apple and Blackberry, in a Rooibos base. Yum!

LoveLula Beauty Box* is a monthly subscription box priced at £13.95 with free postage in the UK. Visit lovelula.com to find out more.

Roxanne Campbell Summer Collection 2017 Nail Lacquers - Review & Swatches
Roxanne Campbell's latest Summer Collection of nail lacquers is a bright and cheery bunch - time for a new mani anyone?

A favourite name amongst the fashion-conscious, Roxanne Campbell has painted the nails of countless of supermodels on runways all over the world, so it was no surprise to see her launch her own brand of luxury nail lacquers last year. RC's line is cruelty-free and showcases a mix of classic colours with contemporary must-have shades.

Her Summer Collection comprises of four beach-ready shades and I was thrilled to get my hands on a set to try out!

Roxanne Campbell Nail Lacquer in Snow Fight swatches
Roxanne Campbell Nail Lacquer in Snow Fight*

Perhaps I'd been scrolling through too many sunny Pinterest posts recently or something, but the first colour that I wanted to try out was Snow Fight.  This stark white achieved opacity within just two coats and looks amazing against tanned or darker skin tones. I have to admit that I've only previously used white nail polish as an additional shade in nail art, but I'm really warming to what it looks like all over!

Roxanne Campbell Nail Lacquer in Violets Are Blue swatches
Roxanne Campbell Nail Lacquer in Violets Are Blue*

This stunning bright blue was nearly opaque in one coat but I used two for good measure to get an even level of coverage. Violets Are Blue applied smoothly, dried quickly and has a lovely high-shine finish without the need for a top coat. A gorgeous blue for my nail polish stash.

Roxanne Campbell Nail Lacquer in Sitting Pretty swatches
Roxanne Campbell Nail Lacquer in Sitting Pretty*

Fans of hot pinks will love Sitting Pretty - a vivid bright pink that only needed one coat. Like Violets Are Blue, this one also has a glossy, high-shine finish and the formula was a dream to apply. I particularly love this shade on toes to jazz up a pair of plain flip flops.

Roxanne Campbell Nail Lacquer in Off To Jamaica swatches
Roxanne Campbell Nail Lacquer in Off To Jamaica*

My favourite of the collection is definitely Off To Jamaica. I always bright coral shades like this throughout Summer as I think they look particularly great with a tan, and this colour is no exception. The formula is brilliant like the rest of these nail lacquers - a must-have for sure!

The Roxanne Campbell Summer Collection retails for £40 or you can purchase the nail lacquers individually for £10 each. Available from roxannecampbell.com

What do you think of this collection?

New In: Smith & Cult Spring/Summer 2017 Nail Lacquers - Exit The Void, Glass Souls & Sugarette - Review & Swatches

Smith & Cult Spring/Summer 2017 Nail Lacquers - Exit The Void, Glass Souls & Sugarette
Luxury beauty fans will be delighted to know that Smith & Cult have three brand new shades out for S/S17, two of which are Limited Edition.

Smith & Cult's Nail Lacquers are easily identifiable by their quirky melted metal effect caps and chunky round bottles, with a simplistic but elegant brand typography on the front. They look like mini works of art and whenever you pick one of them up, they feel incredibly heavy, which just adds to their serious luxe vibe that oozes cool from every angle.

Smith & Cult's shade range has some really gorgeous contemporary shades in it, and their vegan-friendly, 8-free formula ensures that your luxury nail lacquer is free from Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, Xylene, Ethyl Tosylamide and Triphenyl Phosphate.

I was very kindly sent their brand new S/S17 collection to try out, which features three new shades; Exit The Void, Glass Souls and Sugarette.
Smith & Cult Spring/Summer 2017 Nail Lacquers - Exit The Void review swatches
Smith & Cult Nail Lacquer in Exit The Void* (14ml, £19, link)

My favourite of the three new shades is Exit The Void - a stunning Limited Edition opaque periwinkle blue shade that just screams Spring and Summer to me. This is one of those beautiful pastel colours that really stands out against a tan, but looks just as good on pale skin as well. This nail lacquer applied smoothly in two thin coats and has a lovely shiny finish to it.

Smith & Cult Spring/Summer 2017 Nail Lacquers - Glass Souls review swatches
Smith & Cult Nail Lacquer in Glass Souls* (14ml, £19, link)

If you love glitter, Glass Souls will be your ideal summer festival companion. Featuring a mix of large and small silver glitter particles that are suspended in a clear base, this is the ideal polish to layer on top of any shade to really bring it to life - the glitter dazzles beautifully when it hits the sunshine! Here you can see what it looks like on top of Exit The Void, photographed in natural sunlight.

Smith & Cult Spring/Summer 2017 Nail Lacquers - Sugarette review swatches
Smith & Cult Nail Lacquer in Sugarette* (14ml, £19, link)

Sugarette is the only shade from this new collection that I'm not really feeling, but I'm personally not the biggest fan of frosty pale shades anyway. It's described as an 'opaque frosty golden cloud', but you'll need to apply at least three or four coats to get it anywhere near opaque as the formula is so thin. I also find it impossible not to get streaks when I'm applying these sorts of frosted shimmer colours, however, if you have steadier hands than I do, you're likely to do a much better job than me! Not my cup of tea but I can see others loving this unusual Limited Edition shade.

Smith & Cult Spring/Summer 2017 Nail Lacquers - Exit The Void, Glass Souls & Sugarette - Review & Swatches
L-R: Smith & Cult's new S/S17 Nail Lacquers - Exit The Void (Limited Edition), Glass Souls & Sugarette (Limited Edition). Available online from Net-a-Porter, Cult Beauty, Beauty Bay, Bath and Unwind, John Lewis & SpaceNK.

Budget Beauty: Benecos Happy Cleansing Wipes, Natural Lip Balm in Mint & Nail Polish in Maverick review

Tuesday, 28 February 2017

Benecos Happy Cleansing Wipes, Natural Lip Balm in Mint & Nail Polish in Maverick review
Last month, the natural/eco-friendly brand Benecos, released these three new products, proving that green beauty need not be as expensive as you might think it is.

I've featured Benecos a couple of times on here and I really like their budget-friendly makeup. They're a great brand to look into if you're looking for cruelty-free products that are free from the main 'nasties' such as parabens, silicones and mineral oils etc, as all of their products are made with natural and organic ingredients.

Below are some of their latest releases to give you an idea of what they have to offer:-
Benecos Happy Cleansing Wipes
Benecos Happy Cleansing Wipes* (pack of 25 wipes, £3.46, link)

Regular readers will already know that I'm not the biggest fan of cleansing wipes, and I very rarely use them as I tend to stick to Caroline Hirons' popular mantra of keeping them purely for 'Fannies, Flights and Festivals'. However, I can appreciate their convenience appeal and they certainly come in very handy when you're camping or travelling. So if you're looking for a more eco-friendly pack of cleansing wipes to pack into your bag, look no further. These new ones from Benecos are made from 100% natural cotton which is 100% biodegradable, and they're also alcohol-free and pH neutral to be kind to all skin types. Infused with organic plant and fruit extracts such as Orange Water, Aloe Vera and Mango, they offer a gentle and quick way to cleanse your skin without drying it out.
Benecos Natural Lip Balm in Mint
Benecos Natural Lip Balm in Mint* (4.5g, £2.45, link)

Joining Benecos' range of natural lip balms is this new Mint flavour, which will definitely appeal to those who are looking for a vegan alternative to popular brands such as Burts Bees. Featuring a blend of natural plant oils, waxes and butters such as Shea Butter, Cocoa Seed Butter, Carnauba Wax and Olive Oil, it's a moisturising treat for dry lips. The extra Peppermint Oil adds a lovely soothing and cooling sensation which will please anyone who's a fan of Mint flavoured lip products.
Benecos Nail Polish in Maverick
Benecos Nail Polish in Maverick* (9.5ml, £6.95, link)

Benecos' Natural Nail Polishes are seriously underrated in my opinion. This brand new bright purple shade has been specially created to support the brand's sponsorship of the Hertfordshire Mavericks Netball Team through their Superleague season, and I absolutely love it! Purple is one of my favourite colours anyway, but this shade is the perfect transitional Spring shade to get you in the mood for some (hopefully!) warmer and sunnier weather soon. Excellent 6-free formula with a high shine glossy finish and the brush is also worth mentioning as it's wide and slightly curved, so it practically 'hugs' the shape of your nail for an easy, flawless application.

Acquarella Water Based Nail Polishes - Review & Swatches
With the growing consumer demand for more toxic-free formulas in makeup, I was intrigued to try out Acquarella's interesting range of water based nail polishes to see how they really compare to mainstream varnishes.
