Skincare Routine: 4 Overnight Treatments To Get Your Glow Back
Although I stick to a good skincare routine, I do find that my complexion can look a little dull or tired at times, especially if I've had a busy or stressful week. These overnight treatments are my secret weapons to healthy looking, glowy skin.

First things first - I don't use all of these products at the same time, and I don't use them every night! Instead, I'll reach for the one that I feel my skin needs the most at that particular time, and then switch it up, again all dependent on how my skin is feeling. It's taken me a while to figure out what my skin 'wants', so if you're new to all of this, you may find you that need to do some trial and error to suss out what works best for you. Also if you're using any products with AHAs / Glycolic Acids, please use sunscreen for the next week to protect your new fresh skin cells!

Best All Rounder - REN Wake Up Wonderful Night Time Facial* (40ml, £32, link)
If you have the budget for it, REN's Wake Up Wonderful Night Time Facial is well worth investing in as it's a great multi-purpose product. This intense overnight treatment not only exfoliates using Lactic and Glycolic Acids, but it also hydrates and nourishes the skin so it's the one that I reach for when I need a general 'skin pick me up'. I use this after my night serum but before moisturiser, and it always leaves my skin looking brighter and healthier in the morning. I featured it in my Best Beauty Products of 2015 and I'm already half-way into my second tube!

Best Budget Buy For Late 20s Skin - Superdrug Optimum Skin Illuminating Glycolic Overnight Peel* (30ml, £12.99, link)
Prevention is always more effective than the cure, so if you're nearer 30 than 20 like I am, this is the product for you. It's a lightweight gel that's infused with Glycolic Acid so you get all those exfoliating benefits, plus there's something called PhytoCellTec which is a trademarked formula that uses extracts from a rare grape called Vivillume (also trademarked). Now, I'm always sceptical about these things, however, I know that grapes, even just regular ones, are packed full of anti-oxidants and this product just works for me. It smoothes out my skin, brightens it, makes it feel firmer and I seem to get less breakouts and blemishes whenever I use it so I'm not going to argue with that.

Best for Dry / Dehydrated Skin - B. Radiant Overnight Mask* (50ml, £11.99, link)
Overnight sleeping and hydration masks are everywhere at the moment, and I've tried out a couple of them over the past few months. This one from B. is easily the best one I've used so far as I've experienced some breakout issues with the others, yet I've had no problems with this. It aims to provide up to 12 hours of intense hydration and uses Niacinamide and Panthenol to 'perfect and smooth'. I really like using this when my face is feeling tight and dehydrated as I feel it just drinks it all up! In the morning, my skin feels and looks much more refreshed, plumped up and healthier. The only downside I've had with this product is that the texture is a little on the sticky side, so I always use my Jade Roller over the top to massage it in further.

Best Glycolic Acid Budget Buy - Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Overnight Peel* (30ml, £5.99, link)
If you're new to using Glycolic Acids and want to buy a product that's affordable and effective, you can't go wrong with this basic budget-friendly buy from Superdrug's excellent own brand range. This one uses Glycolic Acid and a blend of Fruit Acids to gently exfoliate all those dull dead skin cells, leaving your skin looking clearer, brighter and younger. With longer term use, I've found products with Glycolic Acid in them, really help to retexturize my skin as well which is a much-appreciated bonus in my book.
