November Empties: Products I've Used Up
Ready for a bumper Empties post?! As per my usual pre-Christmas tradition of having a declutter, I made it my mission to use up as many of the half-full and nearly used up bottles and jars in my bathroom as possible and here are the results! You might want to grab a snack and make a cuppa first...

Tropic Skin Feast Nourishing Cream Concentrate*
A gorgeous face moisturiser with Hyaluronic Acid for the winter months - nice thickish texture but absorbs quickly and doesn't feel greasy or heavy at all so perfect for most skin types I would imagine! Repurchase? I'm currently testing out the new fragrance-free version which I actually prefer :)

REN Moroccan Rose Otto Sugar Body Polish (travel size)
I love the scent of REN'S Moroccan Rose Otto range because it's so fresh and uplifting. This is a proper luxurious body scrub that works a treat. Repurchase? On my wishlist.

Bodhi & Birch Super 25 Botanical Serum* (reviewed here)
If you're in the market for a luxury all-natural serum, I would add this to your shopping basket right now. It's a sublime blend of 25 superfood botanicals and it's free from essential oils which makes it ideal for sensitive skin. Repurchase? It's out of my budget at the moment sadly.

Lola's Apothecary Sweet Lullaby Soothing Bath & Shower Oil (travel size)
Everything from Lola's Apothecary is beautiful and this bath oil is no exception - it smells gorgeous and so calming. Repurchase? On my xmas list.

November Empties: Products I've Used Up
Bodhi & Birch Sicilian Rose Body Oil (reviewed here)
A good friend gifted this to me for my birthday and I was so happy because I've used it in the past and absolutely adored it. The scent is heavenly and the texture of the oil just leaves your skin silky soft. Repurchase? Another that's on my xmas list ;)

Lavera All Round Cream (reviewed here)
Long-time readers will recognise this - I've gone through many tins of this amazing multi-purpose moisturiser over the years. Super thick and buttery, it's a must-have for dry skin during winter and it smells like lemon cheesecake! Repurchase? Already have.

Sunday Riley C.E.O Vitamin C Rapid Flash Serum (travel size)
I'm a big fan of Sunday Riley's C.E.O Vitamin C range and this serum was such a pleasure to use that I was gutted when it ran out. Brilliant for brightening up dull skin. Repurchase? Yes.

Saint Iris Adriatica Every Body Vitality Spritz* (reviewed here)
Uplifting and invigorating is how I would describe this luxury body spritz which is lovely to use after hot yoga or pilates. Repurchase? Sadly not, it's one of those products that I used a lot at first, but then forgot that I had which is why it's taken me such a long time to use it up.

November Empties: Products I've Used Up
Handmade Naturals Cocoa & Mandarin Lip Balm* (reviewed here)
A fantastic budget-friendly natural lip balm that tastes a bit like a Terry's Chocolate Orange - what's not to like?! Repurchase? Yes.

L'Occitane Amande Shower Oil (travel size)
I will always have a soft spot for this as I've been using it for years and the scent is quite nostalgic for me now. It's also still one of the best products to use to shave your legs with - silky smoothness guaranteed every time. Repurchase? Yes.

A'kin Rosehip Oil(reviewed here)
My skin loves Rosehip Oil so I always have a bottle of it in my stash and this one from A'kin is another longtime favourite of mine because it's so pure and has a lovely texture. Repurchase? Definitely.

Noughty To The Rescue Moisture Boost Shampoo(reviewed here)
I can't remember how many tubes I've used up in the past but I often have one in my bathroom and alternate it with other shampoos. Brilliant for dry hair without weighing it down. Repurchase? Will do once I've used some other shampoos first.

November Empties: Products I've Used Up
Lavera Basis Sensitiv Toothpaste(reviewed here)
One of the best organic toothpastes that I've tried for sensitive teeth. Contains sodium fluoride but is SLS free. Repurchase? I've trying out Lavera's Whitening Toothpaste at the moment.

B. Gentle Eye Makeup Remover(reviewed here)
If your eyes are quite delicate and sensitive, as most people's are, this affordable, vegan eye makeup remover is fantastic because it removes everything (including waterproof makeup) without stinging or requiring scrubbing. I've used lots of these! Repurchase? Yes.

Tropic Monoi And Orange Flower Luxury Bath Foam
Perfect for a luxurious bubble bath, this SLS-free Tropic Bath Foam smells incredible - I'm a sucker for anything with Monoi in it - and it's really relaxing to use before bedtime. Repurchase? Yes.

Elsa's Organic Skin Foods Natural Deodorant Stick in Ocean(reviewed here)
I've been lucky enough to try out all of the different natural deodorants from Elsa's and my two favourites are Love and Ocean. The latter is super fresh and a great unisex scent too. Repurchase? Already have.

P.S - Recycle your beauty empties with Terracycle!
Most of these plastic and glass containers can be recycled through my local council service (blue bin in my area), however, things like the pumps have metal springs in them which are not accepted as they require a different method in order to be recycled. Luckily, Garnier have teamed up with Terracycle to recycle beauty and personal care waste which is deemed difficult to recycle. It's free, all brands are accepted and there are drop off locations all over the UK. Read more here.

Project Pan #7: 6 Months Of Makeup Empties
I think it's time for another Project Pan post, don't you think? I love doing these with my makeup products. It's a fun way to 'shop your stash' without needing to buy anything new of course, and it's oh-so-satisfying when you finally use something up!

Regular readers will know that I've been doing Project Pans for a number of years now and they still remain one of my most requested posts. But if you're new to all of this and have no idea what a Project Pan is, let me quickly go over some details to help you catch up.

A Project Pan is where you choose a number of products to either completely use up or 'hit pan' on, within a certain timeframe. I first heard about the concept from several makeup community groups, but they have since grown to incorporate any type of beauty product from skincare, haircare to body care and even items like candles - you can basically do a Project Pan for anything that you like!

I tend to focus mine on makeup as I like to include other beauty products in my monthly Empties posts (which are you can check out here). For this latest PP, I set myself the goal of using up 15 makeup items in 6 months, which sadly was a little too ambitious as I ended on 11, but nevertheless, I'll count it as an achievement anyway ;)

Here's what I used up:-
Project Pan #7: 6 Months Of Makeup Empties
Tropic Tinted Skin Shade SPF 50 in Medium/Dark*
The only base product that I finished up was this Tinted Skin Shade from Tropic which is a fantastic tinted mineral facial sunscreen and one of my favourite products to use on a hot and sunny day - I think this is the second or third tube that I've gone through. I really loved the light-medium coverage, the SPF 50 sun protection and the fact that it didn't feel greasy or heavy on the skin. It's cruelty-free and vegan-friendly too. Repurchase? Definitely.

NYX High Definition Eyeshadow Base
I have quite oily eyelids so an eyeshadow base/primer is a must-have to prevent shadows from creasing. I decided to pick this one from up from NYX after reading so many positive reviews, and whilst it worked very well and is a much cheaper alternative, I still don't think it's as good as the Urban Decay Primer Potion, unfortunately. Repurchase? Probably not.

Lily Lolo Big Lash Mascara*
After being somewhat disappointed by Lily Lolo's Natural Mascara, I didn't have high hopes for their Big Lash Mascara, but I was pleased to be wrong! This is one of the best natural mascaras that I've ever tried, and I've tried a LOT! It lengthens, darkens, adds volume, doesn't flake or smudge and gives you big, full lashes. Amazing stuff. Repurchase? Yes.

Becca Ultimate Coverage Concealing Creme in Butterscotch
Words cannot describe how much I love this concealer and it must be the third pot that I've used up since discovering it a couple of years ago. A little goes a long way as it's so thick and pigmented (I've had this pot for well over a year), and I find that it covers up practically everything, but it's especially useful for stubborn blemish and acne marks thanks to its full-coverage abilities. Repurchase? Definitely.

Project Pan #7: 6 Months Of Makeup Empties
bareMinerals Lash Domination Volumizing Mascara (travel size)
This was a great mascara - it separates, lengthens, adds volume, doesn't smudge or flake, but I only managed to get about two or three uses out of it before it dried up. I'm not sure if this happened because it was a travel size that I received in an online GWP, so I'd need to research reviews of the full-size to double-check before purchasing another. Repurchase? Not sure.

PIXI Lash Line Ink
Another product that dried up very quickly (in less than a month of opening it) was this liquid eyeliner pen from PIXI. I loved the richly pigmented formula and the skinny nib for creating easy cat-eye flicks, however, there are other liquid eyeliners out there that last considerably longer! Repurchase? I have another one so I'll use that up and see if the same thing happens.

B. Sculpt & Highlight Contour in 02 Medium*
It takes me forever to use up products like blushers, bronzers and highlighters so I was very pleased that I finished off this dual-ended contour stick from B. One end has a nude highlight and the other has a medium-toned contour shade (see swatches here), both of which are matte and cream formulas which blend effortlessly into the skin. Super easy to use and very convenient to have in your makeup bag, especially if you travel a lot. One of the best budget makeup products that I've ever used. Repurchase? Yes.

Project Pan #7: 6 Months Of Makeup Empties
Living Nature Lipstick in Bloom*
I'm a creature of habit when it comes to lipsticks and will often carry a couple of different shades in my handbag and basically wear them to death! It's no surprise then that I used up this beauty from Living Nature. Bloom is a gorgeous everyday pink that looks particularly amazing in the Spring and Summer months. You can see a swatch of it hereRepurchase? I'm tempted but I have so many similar lipsticks that I'd like to finish off first.

NEEK Skin Organics Natural Lipstick in Come Into My World*
This lippie is more of a pale/nude pink that had a lovely matte formula. It's one that I would reach for when I wanted to pair it with a smokey eye for a night out and it looks equally as pretty just worn for every day - see a swatch hereRepurchase? Again, I have too many similar shades to use up!

Pacifica Devocean Natural Lipstick in Tenderness*
Another easy to wear, gorgeous everyday shade is Pacifica's Tenderness which is part of their Devocean Natural Lipsticks range. It's a little lighter than my natural lip colour but not as pale as the NEEK lipstick above, so it provided a good 'in-between' colour option. Repurchase? I'd definitely buy this again at some point in the near future!

Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes (travel size)
Despite loving pretty much everything else from Charlotte Tilbury, this mascara was sadly a bit of a let down as I found it very clumpy and it gave me smudgy panda eyes (not a cute look!). Not for me. Repurchase? No.

Have you ever done a Project Pan?
Have you tried any of the products that I used up?

September Empties: Products I've Used Up

Sunday, 30 September 2018

I had a feeling that I was going to have a bumper load of Empties this month, so I wasn't surprised to see my Empties box overflowing with products today! Let's jump straight in then, as there's a lot to chat about.

Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels
I've had a rough time this month with about two weeks of flu and let me tell you - when I have the flu, I literally look like death warmed up. Seriously, it's not pretty! Luckily, I had a pack of these in my skincare stash and they are fantastic for quickly depuffing your eyes and making you look like you've had a full eight hours of sleep. Repurchase? Definitely!

RMS Beauty Ultimate Makeup Remover Wipe
I don't use a lot of wipes these days, but I like to have some handy for travelling. These ones from RMS Beauty are basically coated in pure Organic Coconut Oil and don't contain anything else, so they're very gentle on the skin. They worked well with removing mineral-based makeup but struggled with shifting waterproof mascara, and given how expensive they are, I don't think I would bother picking these up again. Repurchase? No.

September Empties: Products I've Used Up
Green People Hydrating After Sun Soothing Moisturiser*
This is one of my favourite after-sun formulas and I really enjoyed using it all Summer long. It isn't sticky or greasy, and feels wonderfully hydrating - just what you want to soothe the skin after too much fun in the sun! Repurchase? Yes.

Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Acid Daily Cleansing Pads
There are so many budget-friendly options out there if you want to add some Glycolic acid to your skincare routine, but I'm a big fan of these cleansing pads from Superdrug as they feel gentle, do a good job, but don't irritate my skin. I always stock up when they're half price. Repurchase? Yes.

B. Effective Stubborn Makeup Remover
Another cheap-as-chips favourite of mine is this eye makeup remover from Superdrug's B range. This works a charm and is on the same level as much pricier brands in terms of performance, yet you can often pick it up for a mere £4 when it's on offer! An absolute bargain and massively underrated. Repurchase? Yes.

Esse Probiotic Serum*
For something much, much more expensive, Esse's Probiotic Serum was a real pleasure to use and my skin fell in love with it. Due to its hefty price tag, I didn't use this every day and instead rotated it with some of my more affordable serums so that it lasted longer. If you're into luxury probiotic skincare, Esse is a worthy brand to look into. Repurchase? It's out of my budget at the moment, but I would be tempted if I saw it on sale.

September Empties: Products I've Used Up
Weleda Wild Rose Pampering Body Lotion*
I've yet to come across a Weleda product that I don't like, and I'm a big fan of their Wild Rose range which smells beautiful. Their Body Lotions have a gorgeous formula and absorb easily into the skin - I loved using this after a long hot bath. Repurchase? Yes.

Nuxe Reve De Miel Face Cleansing & Makeup-Removing Gel
Received this in a recent GWP and I hated it. It left my skin feeling tight, dry and not very clean (like there was still some residue left behind), plus it didn't remove all of my makeup. Repurchase? Nope!

Evolve Organic Beauty Hyaluronic Serum 200*
Oh, it was a sad day when this ran out because it's one of the best Hyaluronic Acid based serums that I've ever used! It feels virtually weightless on the skin, absorbs rapidly and it really plumps everything up, making your complexion look more refreshed and rejuvenated. Repurchase? Will do once I use some other serums up.

Antipodes Juliet Brightening Gel Cleanser*
I love a gel cleanser in the Summer months and this one from Antipodes served me well when it was hot and sticky outside. Great for oily and combination skin, it gives a deep cleanse without stripping the skin and helps to clear up blemishes as well. Repurchase? I'd happily buy this again next Spring/Summer.

September Empties: Products I've Used Up
Weleda Evening Primrose Revitalising Body Oil*
Lovely body oil, very rich and nourishing so perfect to use for a pampering session and another great product to apply after a hot bath to rehydrate the skin. Repurchase? Yes.

Jung & Schön Cleansing Milk*
This came to me in a European beauty and lifestyle box and is from the Austrian brand Jung & Schön which translates as 'young and beautiful'. It's a nice and gentle light cleansing lotion/milk with a fresh and slightly fruity scent to it - it was very nice to use. Repurchase? Would pick it up again if I saw it in the UK.

A'kin Brightening Rosehip Oil*
A'kin do the best rosehip oils in my opinion - there's just something about their formulas which feels very refined and high-quality.  I mainly use it as a facial oil in the evenings to help lighten any old acne scars and brighten up pigmentation areas. Repurchase? Already have another bottle in my stash.

LUSH Snow Fairy Shower Gel
I'm a sucker for the sickly sweet, candy-floss like scent of Snow Fairy and always overdose on it in the Christmas sales. This is my last bottle from last year's haul and I'm looking forward to treating myself to another bottle this Christmas! Repurchase? Yes.

New In Beauty: B. Face Mask Pods review

Monday, 12 February 2018

B. Clay Pod Face Masks review
Looking for a new face mask to try out? These cute mini Face Mask Pods from B. are cruelty-free and suitable for all skin types, and they're vegan-friendly as well!

I've been a long time fan of B. who are an exclusive brand to Superdrug. They have a fantastic range of affordable makeup and skincare, so I was excited to see them branch out further into the world of face masks with the launch of these adorable Face Mask Pods. There are four newbies in this line and each one serves a different purpose, making them easy to mix and match to suit your personal skin care needs.

Individually packaged into single-use sealed pods makes them perfect travelling companions, especially as each one is 10ml. I've tried out all four over the past few weeks and found that each pod provided a generous amount to fully cover my face for one mask, so you could easily use half and transfer the rest to a little plastic pot if you wanted to keep the mask to just a specific area like the T-Zone. You can even multi-mask with different pods and get additional uses out of them if preferred!

B. Clay Pod Face Masks review
B. Glowing Clay Face Mask*
Designed to brighten, exfoliate and refine the skin's texture, the Glowing Clay Face Mask contains a base blend of three natural clays and uses Red Seaweed extract to help get rid of impurities. This mask also has tiny ground Apricot granules that buff and polish the skin to remove dull dead skin cells, leaving the complexion visibly brighter. I found it did a good job at giving my face a much softer feel and it delivered a noticeably brighter result, even if it was just temporary until the next day.

B. Purified Clay Face Mask
If your skin is more on the oily side, this Purified Clay Face Mask is the one that I would recommend to try the most. It refreshes, deeply purifies and cleanses thanks to a Kaolin clay blend and Eucalyptus Extract, and it also helps to minimise excess sebum and shine. I was worried that it might be a little too drying for my skin, so I was really happy when my skin felt more refreshed and balanced afterwards instead.

B. Detoxed Clay Face Mask
For blemishes, blackheads and stubborn clogged pores, the Detoxed Clay Face Mask will definitely come to your rescue! It has a rich clay formula that's blended with plenty of Charcoal powder (hence it's natural grey colour), which does an excellent job of drawing out dirt and impurities from the skin. This one was a bit drying afterwards as it has quite a powerful detoxifying formula, so I'd suggest following it up with a good moisturiser afterwards.

B. Hydrated Leave On Face Mask*
The only one out of the four to not feature a clay base is the Hydrated Leave On Face Mask. This creamy treatment feels like a rich moisturiser and uses key ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, Squalene and Babassu Oil, to give all skin types a good boost of moisture when it needs it the most. It's perfect for this time of the year when most people's skin is suffering from the cold weather, and it's also ideal as a follow-up mask after using the Detoxed Clay Face Mask above, to replenish and restore moisture levels.

B. Clay Pod Face Masks review
B. Face Mask Pods* are £2.49 each, or you can purchase larger 50ml pots for £7.49 each. Available exclusively at Superdrug, both in stores and online at superdrug.com

Have you tried these yet?

January Favourites

January Favourites
January is finally over - hooray! I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to the brighter days of Spring already. Before then, let's have a quick recap of the beauty faves that I've been loving last month.
January Favourites
Lorac Riesling Romance Eyeshadow Palette
I'm painfully late to the Lorac palette party, but I've finally discovered how amazing they are and their Riesling Romance Eyeshadow Palette has been my go-to for eyes over the past few weeks. This palette is just heavenly for anyone who loves their neutrals and it's so easy to blend and work with. Perfect for when you're in a rush in the morning and need to get ready in 5 mins.

Tarte Color Splash Hydrating Lipstick in Set Sail (£20, link)
Another blogger favourite brand that I haven't explored much of until recently is Tarte. Not only am I obssessed with the blue marble-esque packaging of this lipstick, but this shade Set Sail is the ideal pop of nude pink for me as it's a little darker than most of the lip colours that I already own in this neutrals family. I really like how it pulls everything together, no matter what kind of makeup I'm wearing at the time! I also love the moisturising formula which definitely comes in handy if your lips are feeling dry due to the cold weather. The only problem now is that I want more shades of these!

January Favourites
B. Gentle Eye Makeup Remover* (100ml, £7.99, link)
I always get excited whenever I see a new product launch from B. (the cruelty-free, vegan-friendly, budget-friendly brand that's exclusive to Superdrug). Their latest newbie to hit the shelves is a superb Gentle Eye Makeup Remover, which really is kind to even the most sensitive eyes and suitable for all skin types to use. It contains Cucumber extract, Niacinamide and Allatoin, so it feels very gentle and makes short work of even waterproof mascara.

Akar Skin Ruby Tint Lip Butter
I discovered this brand via Roccabox recently and have kept this mini Lip Butter in my handbag ever since. Akar Skin are an all-natural, Tibetan inspired beauty brand that has a range of mainly skincare and a couple of cosmetics under its belt. This lip butter is 100% natural, free from petroleum and mineral oil, and contains 100% organic and wild-harvested ingredients. It has a gorgeous bright red tint to it and feels super moisturising - a brilliant new find.

Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Foam* (270ml, £12.99, link)
My body hasn't seen a decent amount of sunlight in months, so I've been alternating using a gradual tanner with my body moisturisers to give me a hint of golden colour. Bondi Sands are one of my favourite tanning brands and their Everyday Gradual Tanning Foam is basically a foam version of their Everyday Gradual Tanning Body Milk Moisturiser which I've used numerous times over the years. The foam however is much quicker to apply, but gives me the same subtle wash of colour that I'm craving, without the maintenance issues. I just slap this on after a shower and I'm good to go - plus it smells like coconuts!

What are your current beauty favourites?

5 Products from B. to Add To Your Autumn/Winter Makeup Bag

5 Products from B. to Add To Your Autumn/Winter Makeup Bag
Want to give your makeup bag a seasonal update, but are on a budget? Head over to your nearest Superdrug and pick up these affordable, cruelty-free and vegan-friendly products from B.

B. Luminous Silk Lipstick in Suis Mois* (£6.99, link) and B. Velvet Matte Lipstick in Tainted* (£6.99, link)

One of the easiest ways to update your makeup bag for the new season is with a lipstick and B. have a fantastic range of lippies available in different shades and finishes. Their Luminous Silk Lipsticks are a firm favourite of mine because the formulas have Jojoba Oil in them, so they feel creamy, glide on effortlessly, have great colour payoff, and help to keep lips hydrated (a must at this time of the year!). From that range, I'd recommend the shade Suis Mois, which is one of those gorgeous, fuss-free, neutral pinks that you can quickly apply when you're in a rush in the morning.

For something more vampy for an evening out, or an upcoming Christmas party, check out Tainted in the Velvet Mattes line. This stunning deep red ticks all the right boxes for a dramatic lip and has a comfortable, non-drying velvet matte texture. I wouldn't say it's a true matte as it still had a bit of a sheen to it, even when it had dried down, but the formula is lovely nonetheless and enriched with Shea Butter to keep dry lips at bay.

B. Powder Blusher in Darl review
 B. Powder Blusher in Darl* (6g, £7.99, link)

If you find that darker or berry coloured blushers don't suit you, opting for a medium-toned dusky pink can be much more flattering during Autumn and Winter. I've been wearing this B. Powder Blusher in Darl almost every day for a month now and I absolutely love how silky soft the powder is. It's so easy to blend and can be applied lightly or built up, depending on the look you're going for. Highly recommended if you're new to makeup or blushers, and want something that's foolproof to apply!

B. Pro Brow Styler in 02 Dark Brown* (£4.99, link), B. Kohl Eye Liner in 01 Black* (£4.99, link) and B. Glitter Pigment in Olive La Vida Loca* (£4.99, link)

A/W is a great time to experiment with a new look, so if you've always wanted to try out a bolder brow for example, why not try something like the budget-friendly B. Pro Brow Styler? Available in a range of shades, it comes with a slanted thin tip for feathering in some cheeky extra brow hairs in a way that looks very natural, and it also has a handly little spoolie brush on the other end to brush and style any wayward hairs.

A good quality eyeliner is a must-have in my makeup bag and I've been loving the B. Kohl Eye liner in Black. This twist-up kohl liner is seriously pigmented (check out the swatch below!), long-lasting, smudge-proof, and applies smoothly without any dragging or pulling on the delicate eye area.

Lastly, I wanted to mention the B. Glitter Pigments which are an affordable way to add some Christmas sparkle to your party looks this year, and come in eight different colours. These loose pigments can be used to add a subtle or intense level of shimmer to your eyes, depending on how much you apply and whether you use them wet or dry. For a lighter look, I've swatched it dry below, but they're very easy to build up and really 'pop' when layered over an eyeshadow primer. I have the shade Olive La Vida Loca which is a beautiful olive green with golden shimmer - super wearable and so pretty for the festive season!

Swatches! From L-R: B. Glitter Pigment in Olive La Vida Loca, B. Powder Blusher in Darl, B. Velvet Matte Lipstick in Tainted, B. Luminous Silk Lipstick in Suis Mois, B. Pro Brow Styler in 02 Dark Brown & B. Kohl Eye Liner in 01 Black.

B. is exclusive to Superdrug, both in stores nationwide and online at superdrug.com

Budget Beauty: New B. Makeup from Superdrug + Cassie Lomas Collection - Review & Swatches

Wednesday, 2 August 2017

B. Makeup from Superdrug + Cassie Lomas Collection review
One of the best budget-friendly and cruelty-free makeup brands on the high street is B. who are stocked exclusively at Superdrug. Seriously, if all of my makeup grew legs and ran away tomorrow, I would be the first in line at Superdrug to immediately restock all of my favourites from B. - it's that good.

The brand underwent a massive relaunch recently which included a full design makeover, alongside some exciting new product releases with celebrity makeup artist, Cassie Lomas. I love the new look, so naturally, I was over the moon when this box of amazingness arrived on my doorstep from Superdrug last month, and I've been having a lot of fun playing with everything. The whole B. range is 100% vegan, cruelty-free and it's kind to your bank balance too - I don't think there's anything over £9.99 and prices start from as little as £4.99 - bargain!

I've got a lot of products to talk about so let's jump into this!

B. Lip & Cheek Tints in Say My Name and Bashful
B. Lip & Cheek Tints in Say My Name and Bashful
B. Lip & Cheek Tints in Say My Name and Bashful* (£6.99 each, link)

Cream blushers really come into their own during the Summer months as powder formulas can look a little cakey in bright sunlight, so these Lip & Cheek Tints are a fantastic addition to your holiday makeup bag. The packaging is plastic but sturdy, and it fits in my hand nicely, plus the slim and compact design means it won't take up much space in your bag. I also like how the lid is clear so you can instantly find the shade that you're looking for.

These Lip & Cheek Tints have a lovely cream-to-powder formula that blends really easily and the pigmentation is much stronger than what you'd typically expect from a 'tint' product - you don't need to use much at all! They give a nice wash of colour to the lips but they do feel a little drying on there, so I use them on my cheeks a lot more. There are six shades available and I have Say My Name, a perfect everyday nude-pink for me, and Bashful, a much brighter summery coral.

B. Cassie Lomas Whipped Bronzer
B. Cassie Lomas Whipped Bronzer* (19g, £8.99, link)

Like cream blushers, cream based bronzers are great for Summer and this new one is part of Cassie Lomas' capsule collection for B. It has the most amazing whipped texture and when applied to the skin, it feels like silk and quickly dries to a smooth matte finish. I was surprised by how easy this Whipped Bronzer was to use; I just lightly dip my angled contour brush into it, so I'm picking up the tiniest amount of product, and then gently buff it into my skin. It blends like a dream and instantly warms up your whole complexion for a gorgeous Summer glow. Great to use for contouring too if you have a fair-to-medium skin tone.

B. Cassie Lomas Sheer Liquid Highlighter
B. Cassie Lomas Sheer Liquid Illuminator* (30ml, £9.99, link)

For an extra glow, try Cassie's Sheer Liquid Illuminator which can be used in numerous ways. For a boost of radiance apply it all over your face, either directly onto your skin underneath foundation, or mix a little into your foundation for a more glowy and healthy looking finish. You can also apply this underneath your regular highlighter to maximise its shine, and it works well on the decolletage, tops of the shoulders, down the centre of the legs to slim and highlight them - anywhere where you want a little something extra!

B. Matte Liquid Lips in Cassie Lomas All About Me, Ravenous and Lulu* (5ml, £6.99 each, link) & B. Velvet Matte Lipstick in Snatched* (£6.99, link)

For lips, B. have a large range of products available in various shades and finishes. Matte liquid lipsticks are still hugely popular and I can imagine that these are going to be some of the brand's bestsellers! I've been playing with three of them and the formulas are brilliant. They are incredibly pigmented, glide on super smoothly, don't feel drying and are long lasting - what more could you possibly want?!

The shades of Matte Liquid Lips that I have are All About Me, a beautiful, easy to wear nude from Cassie Lomas' collection; Ravenous, a stunning rich berry purple that I will be rocking throughout Autumn and Winter, and Lulu, a bright and summery fuschia pink.

Traditional lipstick fans needn't feel left out either as B. have got a wide selection of lipsticks in different finishes and the shade ranges cater for all skin tones. My personal favourite is one of the Velvet Matte Lipsticks in Snatched - a gorgeous, barely-there nude. The texture is lovely and smooth, and like the Matte Liquid Lips, this doesn't feel drying at all and it delivers great pigmentation. Lots of love for all of these!

B. Protected Anti-Pollution Shielding Primer
B. Protected Anti-Pollution Shielding Primer* (30ml, £12.99, link)

There are a couple of primers within the new B. makeup range, but my favourite one actually comes from their sister skincare line so this is a few quid more expensive than the makeup products. This B. Protected Anti-Pollution Shielding Primer is the perfect base for your makeup if you work in a city, have a job where you're outside a lot, or are simply going on holiday to enjoy a city break somewhere. It's been formulated to help protect the skin from daily environmental aggressors such as pollution and it contains broad spectrum SPF 30 to protect against both UVA and UVB rays. Not only that, but it preps the skin for makeup by providing a super smooth base as well - brilliant stuff!

B. Long Wear Brow Cream in 02 Mid Brown
B. Long Wear Brow Cream in 02 Mid Brown* (£5.99, link)

I've used several brow products from B. before and have always gotten along well with them, so I was curious to try the new Long Wear Brow Cream. Available in three shades, I have the shade Mid Brown which is a good match for my brows as I suspect the Dark Brown shade would look too harsh and unnatural on me. Mid Brown is a straight up taupey-brown, and the cream formula makes it easy to fill in your brows, plus it's smudge proof and stays put all day until you want to take it off. The glass packaging also makes this look and feel a lot more expensive than it is which is always a winner in my book.

B. Pro Sculpt & Highlight Contour Sticks in 04 Universal and 02 Medium
B. Pro Sculpt & Highlight Contour Sticks in 04 Universal and 02 Medium* (£8.99 each, link)

Contouring fans will love these new dual-purpose Sculpt & Highlighter Contour Sticks which feature a creamy matte highlighter and contour shade at each end. They glide onto the skin smoothly and the small, rounded stick allows you to apply your contour and highlighter exactly where you want it. What I love the most about these contour sticks are that they are so easy to blend out for a natural looking finish, and you can build them up if you want a stronger depth of definition.

You can pick these up in four shades and I have 02 Medium, which is great for light-medium skin tones and 04 Universal, that's perfect for most skin tones and features a gorgeous shimmery highlighter end instead of a matte one. Best of all though, they are really compact so great for travelling with.

B. Kohl Eye Liner in 02 White

Lastly, I wanted to give a quick mention to B.'s Kohl Eyeliners which are some of the best and most affordable on the high street. These have super sleek matte black packaging and feature a convenient twist-up applicator. The formula of these is fantastic; they apply smoothly with zero dragging or pulling, are richly pigmented, don't smudge or fade throughout the day, and sit well in the waterline. Alongside this white shade, there are five other colours available ranging from everyday blacks and browns, to some beautiful copper and jade shades. Well worth a look!
