Mother's Day Gift Guide 2017: Part One
Mother's Day is fast approaching (it's the 26th March in case you need a cheeky reminder!) and to prepare for the occasion, I've compiled a handy two-part Mother's Day Gift Guide that you can use to properly spoil your Mum this year - I'm sure she deserves it!
GUCCI Bamboo Limited Edition Eau de Parfum
For Mums Who Adore Designer Perfumes: GUCCI Bamboo Limited Edition Eau de Parfum* (50ml, £68, link)

Designer perfumes always make gorgeous gifts, and a Limited Edition one makes it feel even more special. Earlier this year, GUCCI released this beautiful new version of their popular Bamboo fragrance and I knew I had to include it in this Mother's Day Gift Guide because my mum would love to receive this! This is the same Bamboo fragrance, just updated with an eye-catching new rosy jewel toned tinted bottle and a Far-Eastern inspired print on the box packaging. GUCCI Bamboo is a lovely contemporary feminine scent with a strong top note of Italian Bergamot, heart notes of Ylang Ylang and Casablanca Lily, and a subtle sensual base note of Sandalwood. An ideal everyday fragrance to wear during Spring and Summer.
Aveda Beautifying Radiance Polish
For Mums Who Love Luxury Pampering Products: Aveda Beautifying Radiance Polish* (440g, £36, link

For a spot of luxury pampering, you can't go wrong with anything from Aveda. I'm a big fan of many of their ranges including the Beautifying line which has a gorgeous uplifting scent of organic Rosemary, Lavender and Bergamot. This Beautifying Radiance Body Polish combines this signature fragrance with a seriously good body scrub to thoroughly exfoliate and buff away dull dead skin cells, revealing brighter, more glowy skin. As the mineral-rich salt crystals are blended with nourishing plant oils such as Sunflower Seed, Olive and Safflower, your skin is left feeling silky soft and thoroughly pampered, with that scent lingering for a little while afterwards. Perfect to use on arms and legs to prep them for the warmer months ahead.
Tropic Body Love Firming Buttercream
For New Mums: Tropic Body Love Firming Buttercream* (250ml, £20, link)

One of my friends recently had a baby and she's been looking into lots of firming body moisturisers to give her skin some extra TLC, so I recommended this to her and she's been loving it! Tropic's Body Love Firming Buttercream will no doubt appeal to anyone who wants keep their skin nicely firm and supple, as well as hydrated, as it's a lovely thick body moisturiser. Formulated with Cocoa and Shea Butters, it does a great job of keeping dry skin away, and it also has Green Algae and Pink Peppercorn actives to help firm up cellulite and any wobbly areas. As with everything that I've tried from Tropic so far, it smells amazing (really fresh and clean) and a little goes a long way.
Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Class Act Mascara
For Glamourous Mums Who Also Love a Bit of Joan Collins: Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Class Act Mascara* (£20, link)

Joan Collins is an iconic woman of many talents, and her makeup range, Timeless Beauty, has been getting some rave reviews online from women of all ages. My mum's been a fan of hers for some time, so I think she'd appreciate something like Joan's Class Act Mascara which promises to have a water-resistant, non-clumping, non-shedding, long-lasting formula. It also contains Seaweed and Algae extracts to encourage lashes to grow longer and fuller which is an interesting addition! All of the packaging for this range feels very luxurious and this mascara, in particular, boasts a beautiful vintage-inspired, metallic gold tube casing that would yield many compliments from my mum's friends.
DHC Olive-Corn Body Scrub & Polish and DHC Olive Body Butter
For Mums Who Deserve a Spa-Like Pamper at Home: DHC Olive-Corn Body Scrub & Polish* (200g, £15.50, link) and DHC Olive Body Butter* (100g, £17, link)

Mums work hard, whether they're running around after kids at home or juggling the commitments of both with a career as well - I think it's safe to say that they could use a well deserved pamper! If time constraints won't allow for a proper Spa day, you can treat them to some pampering products that they can use at home instead.  DHC have a fantastic range of skincare and bodycare, and I've been enjoying using these two in my bathroom lately.

The Olive-Corn Body Scrub & Polish is one of those fab multi-tasking products for those who are short on time as it cleanses, exfoliates and conditions the skin with a creamy Olive Oil infused formula that features natural corn cob powder to gently but effectively exfoliate the skin. Afterwards, I've been applying the Olive Body Butter which is super rich in texture and features a blend of seven key natural skin-nourishing and hydrating ingredients; Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, Squalene and Argan Oil. Both of these have a fresh Green Apple and Rose scent which has been getting me in the mood for Spring!

Valentine's Day Gift Guide 2017: Part One
It may be freezing cold and raining outside, but love IS in the air this weekend as couples prepare for Valentine's Day next week. If you're searching for a gift for your loved one, here are some of my suggestions across a range of different price points.
For the Makeup Addict: Pür Love Your Selfie 2 Palette
For the Makeup Addict: Pür Love Your Selfie 2 Palette
For Makeup Addicts: Pür Love Your Selfie 2 Palette* (£34, link)

Shopping for a makeup addict but not sure what to get them? Palettes make great gifts and have that added extra 'wow' factor as you get lots of products all together in one handy kit. Neutral colours are always a good safe bet and this Love Your Selfie 2 palette from Pür has a beautiful mix of wearable day-to-night shades including some stunning earthy shimmery tones.

The cruelty-free palette comprises of eight eyeshadows, a baking/setting powder, a peachy/gold-toned highlighter, a bronzer, a great everyday medium pink lipgloss, a velvet matte lip pencil in a berry shade, and a black volumising mascara. The mineral based powders are all silky soft, pigmented and easy to work with, and I particularly love the mascara for big lashes, whilst the lip products are also gorgeous additions to have in a set like this. It's a fab palette for travelling (there's a huge mirror included) with as you only need to pack foundation and concealer with it, and you're good to go!
Mauli Rituals Reawaken Hand & Body Wash
For Luxury Pampering: Mauli Rituals Reawaken Hand & Body Wash* (250ml, £23, link)

This is the gift for someone who truly appreciates the art of luxury pampering. I'm a big fan of Mauli Rituals bath products and their Reawaken Hand & Body Wash has a sensuous fragrance that's both relaxing and uplifting at the same time. Their unique blend is composed of over 80% organic ingredients and features highly therapeutic essential oils such as Lime, Blood Orange, Jasmine, Grapefruit, Rose, Sandalwood and Frankincense. SLS and 'nasties' free, it lathers up a treat and makes the skin feel soft and fresh. A pampering treat fit for a Queen.
Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely Eau de Parfum
For Fragrance Fans: Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely Eau de Parfum* (30ml, usually around £25 - currently on offer at Debenhams for £11, link)

Perfume is always a popular big seller for Valentine's Day and there are lots of amazing bargains happening right now, both online and in stores on the high street. A personal favourite that I've spotted is Sarah Jessica Parker's contemporary classic fragrance, Lovely, which is currently on sale for a mere £11 at Debenhams - what a steal! Lovely is a sophisticated and unashamedly feminine perfume with top notes of Bergamot, Lavender and Apple Martini, mixed with middle notes of Patchouli, Paperwhites and Creamy Orchid, on sultry base notes of Cedarwood, White Amber, and Musk, and comes in a chic vintage inspired bottle.
Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Homme Eau de Parfum
For Him: Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Homme Eau de Parfum* (50ml, £54, link)

The new Gucci fragrance for men which launched earlier this month has been getting some rave reviews and I imagine that it'll be a highly desired gift for this Valentine's Day. Treat your favourite man to Gucci Guilty Absolute and keep him smelling good with an exquisite blend of exclusive Gucci trademarked ingredients such as Woodleather and Golden Wood, mixed with a trio of Patchouli Oils and Vetiver. This is a seriously sexy masculine fragrance - just check out Jared Leto in the accompanying ad campaign! Well if it's good enough for Jared...
The English Soap Company Luxury Guest Soaps
For Budget Friendly Beauties: The English Soap Company Luxury Guest Soaps* (£2.95 per pack, link)

Not feeling the commercialism of V-Day or simply on a budget or after a small gift? These adorable heart-shaped soaps from The English Soap Company offer a cute luxury-feeling gift for less than £3 per pack. They come in a wide range of different fragrances which all smell incredible making them ideal for using in the shower and bath, as well as a hand soap. I'd recommend the Oriental Spice and Cherry Blossom scent for something different and Spring-like.
Ecotools Limited Edition Anniversary Collection
For The Beauty Fan Who Has Everything: Ecotools Limited Edition Anniversary Collection* (£19.99, link)

You may have heard that Ecotools, one of my all time favourite makeup brush brands, has undergone a makeover recently to celebrate their 10 year anniversary. The new updated design sees their brushes get a brand new look, whilst still retaining their wonderful eco-friendly credentials such as using handles made from only renewable bamboo and recycled aluminium ferrules.

This awesome Limited Edition Anniversary Collection set features six full-size makeup brushes; an Airbrushed Finishing Brush, a Controlled Setting Brush, a Spoolie Brush, an Angled Crease Brush, a Flat Eye Liner Brush and an Eye/Lip Blur Brush. These are all made with high-quality, cruelty-free, vegan-friendly synthetic bristles which are really soft and blend beautifully with both cream and powder formulas. All of the brushes come housed in a rose gold recycled aluminium, travel-friendly brush holder too - what a great set!

Part Two of this special Valentine's Day Gift Guide will be uploaded tomorrow!
