Limited Edition: Naturisimo Female Founders Discovery Box 2022 review

Tuesday, 15 March 2022

The Naturisimo Discovery Boxes are a wonderful way to introduce yourself to a wide range of ethical, cruelty-free, and natural beauty brands. Their latest edition, the Female Founders Discovery Box is an extra special curation to praise the amazing women who are leading the way in the green beauty world.

Here's what's inside the box!

Pai Skincare Ressurection Girl Hydrating Mask (RRP £44)

This latest new release from Pai Skincare has been selling out since it launched so I was very excited to see it included in this box as I love the brand so much. The Ressurection Girl Hydrating Mask is a luxury hydrating gel mask that promises to quickly quench thirsty and dry skin. It gets to work in just 10 minutes to boost moisture levels so that your skin feels restored and soothed straight away.

Antipodes Reincarnation Pure Facial Polish & Exfoliator (RRP £22)

Another natural skincare brand that I'm hugely fond of is Antipodes and I've been using their products for years as my regular readers will know. Their wonderful Reincarnation Pure Facial Polish & Exfoliator is hands down the most gentle manual exfoliator that I've ever used (and believe me, I have tested out a lot during my time as a beauty blogger!), and it's the ideal pick-me-up for those times when my skin feels grimey and clogged.

Boucleme Curl Cream (100ml deluxe travel size)

On the green beauty scene, Boucleme is a brand that pops up time and time again, but I've never really looked into them properly as they specialise in products for curly hair. My hair is generally a bizarre combination of flat, fine and frizzy, so I tend to shy away from leave-in conditioners, however, a friend with a similar hair type to mine highly recommended that I try this so my interest has finally been piqued. Keep an eye out for a future post or Empties edit to see how I get on with this Curl Cream.

Odacité Creme De La Nuit (travel size)

Another much hyped product that's been on my wishlist is the Odacité Creme De La Nuit; a luxuriously high-end, hydrating and glow-inducing night cream with Vitamin C and Ashwagandha. The full size tub of this retails for a whopping £108 so it will be somewhat bittersweet if I fall in love with it!

Goldfaden MD Bright Eyes Dark Circle Radiance Complex (travel size)

Before you say anything, yes, I'm well aware that there isn't a great deal that can be done to change dark circles. They're a hereditary/genetic bugbear and every eye treatment on the market claims to be able to solve them. That said, I have tried some eye creams which can deliver some noticeable results so I have high hopes for this Goldfaden MD Bright Eyes Dark Circle Radiance Complex, especially as it has so many favourable reviews online and is often sold out. Fingers crossed.

Kjaer Weis Cream Blush in Sun Touched (deluxe travel mini)

Kjaer Weis is a clean makeup brand that I simply adore and their refillable compacts were always trés cool way before 'zero waste' became a buzz word. I'm lucky enough to own a couple of their gorgeous products, and this deluxe travel mini of their bestseller Cream Blush in Sun Touched is the perfect summer travel bag addition.

Vapour Mesmerize Mascara (deluxe travel size mini)

As mascaras (ideally) need to be binned after three months for hygiene reasons, I like to keep my eye open for minis, and beauty subscription boxes are where most of my mascaras tend to come from these days. Vapour Mesmerize Mascara certainly looks the part with its metallic olive green tube and the brush definitely has a promising appeal to it.

OSKIA Super-C Beauty Capsules (one week supply)

Last, but not least, there's a brilliant one week supply of the popular OSKIA Super-C Beauty Capsules. This is another product that's been on my skincare wishlist as the ingredients in this serum oil sound fantastic. These capsules are described as a superior form of stable, oil-soluble Vitamin C, designed to protect, nourish and hydrate the skin for a younger, more revitalised complexion. Vitamin C is amazing for its brightening qualities and this version is suitable for all skin types to use.

The Naturisimo Female Founders Discovery Box 2022 is available strictly whilst stocks last priced at just £22. Exclusive to naturisimo.com

June Empties: Products I've Used Up

Thursday, 1 July 2021

What a bumper month June was for Empties! I decided to take part in a month-long 'No Buy' challenge over on Instagram and this was the result - a whole box full of beauty empties! As there are so many to discuss, I'll get stuck in straight away.

Therapi Rose Otton No. 2 Hydrating Facial Toner*
A gorgeous luxury Rose Otto-based toner which has just the most divine subtle rose fragrance. Ultra calming and soothing, it's brilliant for refreshing the skin morning and night. Repurchase? I'm using the Dafna's Active Mist at the moment but I'm sure I'll come back to this beauty again in the near future.

Sheffield Skincare Body Oil Lavender & Chamomile*
Lovely 100% natural body oil from an independent Sheffield-based company that I discovered in a beauty box. Great to use after an evening bath to help you relax and unwind. Repurchase? Yes.

Lavera Whitening Toothpaste
One of the go-to SLS-free whitening toothpaste that I've been using on and off for years now. It's gentle enough to use on sensitive teeth, contains fluoride, and does a good job of removing daily stains. Repurchase? Yes.

Evolve Organic Beauty Super Berry Body Oil(reviewed here)
Although stretch marks will never go away, you can improve the texture and appearance of them with a daily targeted body oil and this one from Evolve Organic Beauty definitely helps. This Super Berry range smells amazing too - very sweet like candy! Repurchase? Definitely.

Moor Spa Kelp Enzyme Mask(reviewed here)
I've loved using this Moor Spa Kelp Enzyme Mask whenever my skin has been feeling congested or on the verge of having a breakout. A brilliant multi-tasker that deeply cleanses, tightens and exfoliates all in one handy weekly facial treatment. Repurchase? I have a lot of face masks to use up at the moment first but it's certainly on my repurchase list.

Eyeko Black Magic Mascara*
Despite the fact that I adore the Eyeko Black Magic Eyeliner, I'm not much of a fan of the matching mascara which I found quite clumpy and it dried it in the tube pretty fast after opening. Repurchase? No.

REN & Now To Sleep Pillow Spray*
This is one of my all-time favourite pillow sprays and it really does help! If you suffer from insomnia or sleep problems, I highly recommend using this. Repurchase? Yes.

Tropic Skin Feast Nourishing Cream Concentrate
My morning moisturiser for the past few months, Tropic's Skin Feast Nourishing Cream Concentrate is a bestseller for a reason as it provides lots of hydration without overloading the skin. Creates a lovely smooth base for makeup so you don't need to use an additional primer. Repurchase? I'm trying out a couple of different moisturisers at the moment, but like all my faves, I'll be back!

Weleda Wild Rose Deodorant
A frequent player in my Empties posts, I've been using Weleda's deodorants for years and often come back to this lovely Wild Rose one. If you're a fan of florals and prefer a lighter, spray-on deodorant, this is the one for you. Repurchase? Already have.

Odacité BI+C Serum Concentrate*
Another skincare favourite for blemishes is Odacité's BI+C Serum Concentrate. A tiny amount goes a long, long way and it makes a huge difference to the size of blemishes after just the first use. Particularly useful for those angry 'under the skin' spots! Repurchase? Yes.

Odylique Mosimix Body Oil*
I've yet to find a product that completely keeps those damn mozzies away, but I can say this Mosimix Body Oil from Odylique seems to stop a few of them so it's handy to take with you if you're camping/hiking/doing outdoor activities this summer. Repurchase? I'll give it another go.

Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Hair Masque(reviewed here)
Calling all of my fellow fine hair friends! I've used this particular hair masque countless times over the past few years and it's always the one I seem to keep returning to. If you have fine hair that's also dry, you need to try this as it gives your hair all the essential hydration it needs without weighing it down. Repurchase? Yes.

Aurelia Firm & Replenish Body Serum(reviewed here)
I seem to have used up a lot of body care recently, must be summer! I'm a huge fan of Aurelia's Firm & Replenish Body Serum as it helps to improve skin texture for a smoother appearance - great for using on any 'wobbly bits' to give you a confidence boost. Repurchase? Yes.

The Humble Co Dental Floss*
If you're joining in with Plastic Free July, make sure this is on your shopping list. Not only is the brand ethical in many ways (they donate dental products to people in need all over the world), but the packaging is completely plastic-free, yay! Repurchase? Definitely.

May Empties: Products I've Used Up (+ How To Recycle Your Beauty Empties)

Thursday, 3 June 2021

A little later than usual but here are my recent Beauty Empties, plus some tips on how you can recycle them.

Antipodes Joyful Hand & Body Cream* (reviewed here)
I love all of Antipodes Hand & Body Creams but Joyful is definitely my favourite. Not only does it transform dry skin into silky smoothness virtually overnight, but the natural fragrance is just heavenly with a divine fruity floral scent. As this is pretty pricey, I save it for my hands! Repurchase? Yes.

Odacité Black Mint Cleanser* (reviewed here)
I feel that Odacité is such an underrated luxury natural skincare brand, however, their bestselling Black Mint Cleanser is certainly popular for a reason. This is one of the best purifying cleansers that I've tried for oily/combination skin and it's so refreshing to use first thing in the morning. Repurchase? Will do once I've used up some other cleansers first.

REN Atlantic Kelp & Magnesium Anti-Fatigue Body Wash* (reviewed here)
If you're in the market for a truly uplifting and fresh luxury Body Wash for your morning showers, you can't go wrong with this hidden gem from REN. Infused with Magnesium to give your energy levels a boost, it makes a real difference to how I feel when I'm tired or under the weather. Repurchase? Yes.

Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream* (reviewed here)
Quite possibly my all-time favourite Eye Cream ever, I've used Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream on and off for years now and keep coming back to it - it's that good. Perfect for those who have dry and sensitive eyes, if you've been struggling to find an eye cream that actually makes a difference, try this. Repurchase? I'm using up a few others at the moment but I'm sure I'll come back to this in the near future.

Seascape Island Apothecary Sleep Oil* (reviewed here)
I'm a terrible sleeper (thanks insomnia!) so I rely on a range of aromatherapy products to help me count those sheep at bedtime. Whilst I enjoyed using this one from Seascape Island Apothecary and found it relaxing, I thought the essential oil blend was not as potent as some other brands that I've tried. Repurchase? Probably not.

P.S - How To Recycle Your Beauty Empties!
  • All of the glass and easy-to-recycle plastic PET empties will be put into my council's blue bin kerbside recycling scheme, but for the harder-to-recycle stuff, I will be:-
  • Recycling the pumps, lids and atomisers with Neal's Yard Remedies - more info at the bottom of their website here.
  • Recycling any other products that my local council doesn't accept at The Body Shop, L'Occitane or with Garnier's Terracycle partnership - more info here.

December Empties: Products I've Used Up

Sunday, 3 January 2021

Happy New Year! It seems rather fitting to kick start the new year with an Empties post as we say goodbye to the old and welcome in the new! I have a LOT of empties so let's jump straight in, shall we? Here's what I've used up recently, my final thoughts on them and which ones I'll be repurchasing again in the future.

Nature's Notes Stress Relief Bergamot & Lavender Soap Bar* (review)
Nature's Notes were one of my favourite indie beauty finds of 2020 and I absolutely love their gorgeous range of natural soap bars. This Stress Relief Soap had a lovely relaxing scent which made it ideal to use in the shower, and they're great as a hand soap as well. Repurchase? Will do once I've used up a few others!

Antipodes Jubilation Hand & Body Cream* (review)
For a luxury natural hand and body cream, you really can't go wrong with anything from Antipodes and their iconic colourful metal tubes are incredibly popular for a reason. The texture of these moisturisers leaves skin velvety soft and the fragrances are beautiful - Jubilation is a good one to try if you love floral scents. Repurchase? Yes.

Balade en Provence Solid Night Cream* (review)
Featured back in my November Beauty Favourites, I've really enjoyed using this Solid Night Cream bar from Balade en Provence. If you want to include more zero-waste products in your skincare routine, I would highly recommend it! The only problem I had with it was that it became a bit more difficult to melt and use in my hands as the temperature dropped so I'll be waiting until Spring before I buy it again. Repurchase? Yes.

Fair Squared Apricot Facial Mask(review)
Plastic-free skincare fans will love this Fair Squared Apricot Facial Mask which you can use with their cotton face mask that's 100% reusable as you can wash it after use. It's a brilliant alternative to disposable sheet masks! I got around 4-5 applications from this glass bottle. Repurchase? Yes.

Antipodes Baptise H2O Ultra-Hydrating Water Gel(review)
One of the most hyped skincare releases of 2020, AntipodesBaptise H2O Ultra-Hydrating Water Gel does what it says on the jar as it offers essential hydration to all skin types in a light and water-based gel moisturiser. If you hate heavy face creams, this is definitely one to try. Repurchase? Will do once I've used up some others.

Odacité Black Cumin Serum Concentrate(review)
I've been fighting blemishes and breakouts with another bottle of Odacité Black Cumin Concentrate - this must be my third or fourth bottle that I've used up over the years. As the name suggests, it's a concentrated serum, so only a tiny amount is needed and I dab this directly onto any spots or congested areas. Come morning, most blemishes are gone or their appearance has been diminished significantly. I can't recommend it enough! Repurchase? Definitely!

Weleda Calendula Massage & Body Oil
I treated myself to this over the Summer months and just love the lemony-sherbert style scent it has as it's so fresh and uplifting. The oil itself is beautiful and silky - a great way to enjoy a pampering session at home after a long hot bath. Repurchase? Yes.

EQ EVOA Siberian Balm* (review)
A highly potent all-natural balm for clearing congested chests/noses when you have the flu or a bad cold, EQ EVOA Siberian Balm is one of the best natural remedies that I've tried. A tiny amount goes a long way and it gets to work immediately when you need it the most. Repurchase? Yes.

Aromatherapy Associates Revive Morning Bath & Shower Oil
You can't beat a nice hot bath when it's freezing cold outside and I just love all the Bath & Shower Oils that Aromatherapy Associates do - over the years, I must have tried them all! One of my absolute favourites is called Revive Morning as it does just that and is a great way to wake up when you have some extra time on your hands.

Antipodes Resurrect Clarifying Facial Toner(review)
If you have oily/combination skin, you can't go wrong with Antipodes Resurrect Clarifying Facial Toner. I use this a lot when my skin is playing up as it always helps to calm everything down, reduces any redness and rebalances excess oiliness, especially on the T-zone area for a clearer complexion. Repurchase? Yes.

Antipodes Divine Face Oil(review)
Especially useful for dry, combination, dehydrated and stressed skin types, Antipodes Divine Face Oil is one of those products that I always have in my skincare arsenal and I've been using it for years now. It's a rich, plant-based oil so a little goes a long way, and I find it works particularly well when added to your skincare routine from Autumn onwards. Repurchase? Yes.

REN Atlantic Kelp And Magnesium Anti-Fatigue Body Wash(review)
Last but not least, I've finished up another bottle of REN Atlantic Kelp And Magnesium Anti-Fatigue Body Wash - a lovely luxury shower gel infused with Magnesium to soothe tired and sore muscles. It's great to use after pilates and yoga sessions. Repurchase? Yes.

May Empties: Products I've Used Up
Ready for another Empties round-up? Here's a basketful of products that I've used up recently, plus my thoughts on the ones that I'll be repurchasing again and which ones will be staying permanently in the recycling bin.

This Works Light Time Cleanse & Glow (travel size)
Given the current lockdown situation, I've been going through my minis stash and unearthing some forgotten gems such as this gorgeous Vitamin C infused treatment from This Works. Ideal for to use whenever your skin needs a brightening pick me up, Light Time Cleanse & Glow gets to work in just one minute to deliver an instant result. Repurchase? I have a few more of these minis to use but will definitely purchase the full-size when they're all gone!

REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask (travel size)
If you're looking for another active ingredient to include in your skincare routine to bring more radiance and glow to your skin, definitely try Glycolic Acid. It's easy to find as the superstar ingredient in REN's Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask and I've been using this for years (check out one of my reviews from back in 2015 here). Repurchase? Absolutely.

Trilogy Pure Plant Body Oil
Whenever my eczema flares up, I swap over whichever body moisturiser I'm using to a fragrance-free one and I love this Trilogy Pure Plant Body Oil which has a simple blend of beneficial natural ingredients such as Rosehip, Sweet Almond and Apricot Oils. Absorbs quickly and is great for massage. Repurchase? Yes.

PHB Lavender Natural Soap*
Lovely 100% natural soap bar that's made without Palm Oil. Creates a gentle and soothing lather without any SLS so I've been using this in the shower. If you like Lavender scents, this is the soap for you! Repurchase? I have some other soaps to use up first but I'll happily buy from PHB again.

Merci Handy Hand Cleansing Gel in Coco Rico
Pretty self-explanatory right? I'm a big fan of these Merci Handy Hand Gels because they don't dry out my hands as much as other hand sanitisers do and they smell incredible. Coco Rico is basically summer in a bottle! Repurchase? I bought a multi-pack so I have a few other scents to try out.

May Empties: Products I've Used Up
Odacité BI + C Serum Concentrate
My skin has been a little fussy during the lockdown but this serum treatment from Odacité has managed to keep blemishes and breakouts under control. You can either add a few drops to your day or night moisturiser or apply it directly onto spots and problem areas for a more intensive treatment which is generally how I prefer to use it. Repurchase? Yes.

CHOBS Aloe Face Mask*
I don't tend to use a lot of sheet masks these days, however, I did thoroughly enjoy the soothing benefits of this CHOBS Aloe Face Mask which felt amazing on my skin after a long day in the sun. I kept it in the fridge beforehand and it was literally heaven when I applied it! Repurchase? Tempted.

Organii Facial Sun Cream SPF 15*
This is a bit of a weird one as I used it mainly over the Winter months (I feel that SPF 15 isn't enough during Summer) and although I initially liked it, I've found the texture to be much too thick and greasy to use in the warmer weather so I'm glad it's been used up. Repurchase? I've since found other sunscreens that I prefer over this so I wouldn't buy it again.

A'kin Organic Rosehip Oil*
One of the best Rosehip Oils out there, I've gone through so many bottles of these over the years and always have one on the go somewhere! I tend to use it once or twice a week in the evenings and find that it works particularly well when rotated with other facial oils and treatments. Repurchase? Yes.

Origins VitaZing SPF 15
My last Empty for this round-up is another long-time favourite of mine - the much loved and hyped Origins VitaZing SPF 15. It's a brilliant tinted moisturiser which I use all-year-round when I don't fancy wearing a full face of foundation and the coverage is actually much better than what you might think from a typical tinted moisturiser. Repurchase? I'm using one from Tropic at the moment so we'll see if that's better or not!

P.S - How To Recycle Your Beauty Empties!
All of the glass and easy-to-recycle plastic PET empties will be put into my council's blue bin kerbside recycling scheme, but for the harder-to-recycle stuff, I will be:-
  • Recycling the pumps, atomisers and face mask sachets with Neal's Yard Remedies - more info at the bottom of their website here.
  • Recycling any other products that my local council doesn't accept, such as flexible plastic tubes at The Body Shop, L'Occitane or with Garnier's Terracycle partnership - more info here.

Skincare Review: Odacité Black Mint Cleanser, Black Cumin Pimples Serum, Rose & Neroli Treatment Mist, Peach Cypress Combination Skin Serum + Aventurine Kiss Lip Serum

Wednesday, 12 September 2018

Skincare Review: Odacité Black Mint Cleanser, Black Cumin Pimples Serum, Rose & Neroli Treatment Mist, Peach Cypress Combination Skin Serum + Aventurine Kiss Lip Serum
Odacité are one of those amazing cult skincare brands that I've been wanting to try out for absolutely ages, so you can imagine how excited I was when this package arrived from the US!

Odacité are based in California and have become world-famous for their innovative formulas which are cruelty-free, clean, organic and natural. These attributes are truly at the core of this luxury green brand as the founder, Valérie Grandury, was diagnosed with breast cancer back in 2004. Following her diagnosis, Valérie wanted to create a skincare range that was both healthy and beautiful, with 'freshness' being one of the main inspirations. It's no surprise then to learn that all of Odacité's products are entirely free from synthetic ingredients and boast some of the freshest, organic natural ingredients that are sourced from around the world.

After years of experimenting and perfecting various formulas, Odacité was launched to the public in 2009 and has enthralled skincare junkies and green beauty fans ever since. I've been testing the following products out in a full skincare routine for about four/five weeks now and wanted to share my current thoughts on this interesting range.

For reference, my skin is combination, prone to blemishes and can sometimes be sensitive.

Odacité Black Mint Cleanser
Odacité Black Mint Cleanser* (100ml, £39, link)

Packaged in sleek black glass and featuring a handy inbuilt pump, Odacité's Black Mint Cleanser is an exceptional purifying facial cleanser that would suit anyone who has oily, combination and blemish/acne-prone skin. The texture of this cleanser has a thin gel-like consistency which turns into a light foam for a deep clean that feels instantly cooling and refreshing - it's a delight to use during the warmer Summer months! My skin feels super clean but without any tightness or dryness afterwards.

Key active ingredients include Activated Charcoal and Rhassoul Clay to draw out impurities, and there's Peppermint and Tea Tree to refresh and wake up a tired complexion, whilst also helping to reduce the appearance of pores. Although this cleanser can remove light makeup, I've kept to using it exclusively in the mornings, mainly due to the price tag and the fact that I really enjoy a properly refreshing cleanser to make me look more alive first thing. If that sounds like something that you need in your life and you have the budget for it, I certainly recommend it.

Odacité Black Cumin Pimples Serum
Odacité Black Cumin Pimples Serum Concentrate* (5ml, £27.50, link)

Odacité are most well-known for their range of Serum Concentrates, and having tried two of them for myself, I can say that if you only buy one product from the brand, make it one of these. They have a product for every type of skin-related problem or concern, and their Black Cumin Pimples Serum Concentrate is one of the brand's bestsellers.

Specially formulated to really get deep down into the pores, this serum has a very clarifying and purifying effect and manages to blitz away blemishes quickly, whilst still not drying out the skin like most other acne/spot treatments do. The superstar main ingredient is the highest-grade, cold-pressed certified virgin organic Black Cumin Oil which is revered for its abilities to tackle clogged pores and draw out embedded impurities, whilst Cajeput Oil is included to help fight the source of the bacteria which often causes blemishes in the first place.

As the name suggests, a little goes a long way so don't be put off by the small size of the bottle. You can either use 2-3 drops mixed in with your daily moisturiser, or apply a few drops directly to the skin as a blemish treatment which is how I've been using it. I've definitely noticed a decrease in new breakouts and it's helped to clear up some of those stubborn under-the-skin bumps that appear during that 'time of the month'.

Odacité Rose & Neroli Hydra-Vitalizing Treatment Mist
Odacité Rose & Neroli Hydra-Vitalizing Treatment Mist* (50ml, £39, link)

Rose and Neroli are two of my favorite essential oils, so I had a gut feeling that I was going to enjoy using this Hydra-Vitalizing Mist, and it did not disappoint. Made from an expert blend of some of nature's most soothing and moisturising ingredients, this wonderful spritz contains the likes of Rose Water to balance sebum, Aloe Vera to keep the skin protected and moist, Neroli to banish blemishes, and Aspen Bark which acts a potent astringent to help minimize the appearance of pores.

The mist is distributed lightly with the pump applicator and feels so amazingly refreshing and hydrating on the skin. It's brilliant to use in your everyday skincare routine, as well as whenever you feel that your skin needs a revitalising pick me up. I don't personally feel that you ever need to spend much on a toner/spritz, but if you are in the market for a really luxurious organic one and have the cash to splash, this is certainly a product to treat yourself to.  I'll definitely be decanting some of this to take with me on my next plane trip!

Odacité Peach Cypress Combination Skin Serum Concentrate
Odacité Peach Cypress Combination Skin Serum Concentrate* (5ml, £27.50, link)

Effective serums for combination skin types can be difficult to find because they essentially have to do at least two jobs; balance the skin's sebum production to keep the oily parts under control and provide moisture to the drier areas. Fortunately, Odacité's Peach Cypress Combination Skin Serum Concentrate manages to do those two jobs perfectly.

In this serum, you'll find a blend of Seabuckthorn Oil to smooth and even out the skin's texture, Peach Oil to minimise excess sebum and make pores appear smaller, and Cypress and Grapefruit Oils to keep shine at bay and the skin soft with their natural astringent and antioxidant properties. The result is a super lightweight serum that absorbs easily without any stickiness, and gives the skin a nice matte finish without making it feel tight or dry.

I find that the Serum Concentrates are best used as treatments applied directly onto the skin, as and when you feel that your skin needs them, but you can add a few drops to your daily moisturiser if desired.

Odacité Aventurine Kiss Lip Serum
Odacité Aventurine Kiss Lip Serum* (2ml, £44, link)

The newest release from Odacité is their Aventurine Kiss Lip Serum and this is something that I was a little sceptical of at first. I mean £44 for a lip serum - do I really need this in my life?! Whilst it's by no means a skincare essential, I have to admit that it is a beautiful product that has made a difference to the overall appearance and texture of my lips, so I'll give it all the credit that it's due - this stuff works.

Open it up and you'll find an Aventurine green crystal rollerball applicator which completely seals the deal as a luxurious Princess product and it'll make you feel like a million dollars whenever you use it. Described as a 'triple-action' serum, the formula targets the vertical lines of the lips, deeply hydrates and helps to restore the natural plumpness that can be lost through ageing. Key ingredients include the super antioxidant CoQ10, Vitamin C, Cacao Butter, Shea Butter, Moringa Oil and Jojoba Oil, plus there's a little Mint and Capsicum to give it a tingly, warming feel, and no doubt helps to plump up those lips!

Although the plumping effect is temporary (I'd say it lasts a few hours at most), I have seen a noticeable difference in how smooth and soft my lips look and feel. If your lips are your best feature and you want to give them some serious luxury TLC pampering, the Aventurine Kiss Lip Serum will be right up your street.

Odacité can be found in the UK via various stockists including Naturisimo, Cult Beauty and Content Beauty.

Have you tried any cult products from Odacité?
