Review & Swatches: Lottie London Nail Polishes - Hey Vacay!, Spring Break, As If!, Sunset Secrets & Surf Sesh
If you're a fan of Ciate, but wish their prices were more affordable, you may want to check out Lottie London - their budget friendly sister who have some awesome nail polishes.

Lottie London are a new beauty brand who only hit the shelves of Superdrug earlier this summer. They have an extensive nail polish range and also sell a line of makeup accessories such as brushes, sponges and wash bags. The company are owned by the same people who are behind Ciate, whose high-end, bow-adorned nail polishes I've loved for a long time, so I was intrigued to see how Lottie London's more budget friendly polishes compared.

Below I have five shades to show you:-
Lottie London Hey Vacay! swatch & review
 Lottie London - Hey Vacacy! (12ml, £5.99)
Nude shades like this can definitely be a love it or hate it thing, but Hey Vacay! is slightly easier to pull off than most thanks to the hint of gold shimmer in this chic peachy nude. Three coats to full opacity and a nice subtle sheen.
Lottie London Spring Break swatch & review
 Lottie London - Spring Break (12ml, £5.99)
Spring Break is a neon barbie pink that looks even brighter in real life. I used two coats and it dried to a slightly matte finish as a lot of neon shades have a tendency to do, so you can apply a top coat to add shine if desired. I love this colour for toes!
Lottie London As If! swatch & review
 Lottie London - As If! (12ml, £5.99)
If bright neon blues are more your thing, As If! will be right up your street. Again this was two coats and it dried to a semi-matte finish, but had more natural shine to it than Spring Break.
Lottie London Sunset Secrets swatch & review
 Lottie London - Sunset Secrets (12ml, £5.99)
At first I wasn't too taken with Sunset Secrets, but it's a shade that's started to grow on me the more I wear it. This is a vivid bright orangey-red creme with a lovely glossy finish. An easy two coats again.
Lottie London Surf Sesh swatch & review
Lottie London - Surf Sesh (12ml, £5.99)
Surf Sesh is a gorgeous transitional shade for those who want to start getting into darker colours but want something different from the usual autumnal berry tones. This is a classic, deep midnight blue with a very glossy finish that reached full opacity in two coats.

Summary: These are all great quality nail polishes which lasted around 5-6 days before chipping on me. I didn't experience any major issues with application either - the brush is pretty standard and flat, and the polish itself is on the thicker side which I prefer. The shade range is amazing and I think the bottles are really cute. Comparable to Ciate? Definitely!

Lottie London Nail Polishes* are available exclusively from Superdrug, both instores and online at superdrug.com
