Green Beauty: LoveLula Beauty Box - July 2021 review

Friday, 16 July 2021

Featuring excellent value for money every single month, the LoveLula Beauty Boxes are a great way to treat yourself or a loved one to an exciting selection of green beauty goodies. I've been receiving these boxes for a few years now and they still do not disappoint!

Curious to find out more? Check out my previous LoveLula Beauty Box reviews here and below, you'll find a rundown of what's inside this month's box which is worth £58.

Soul Tree Kajal in Pure Black (RRP £14.20)

Made from an Ayurvedic traditional recipe that uses a 3000-year-old process, Soul Tree's Kajal's have a smooth and creamy texture which makes them glide on effortlessly without any dragging or pulling. Cruelty-free and free from a long list of 'nasties', this kajal instead uses natural pigments and ingredients such as Ghee, Camphor, and Organic Almond Oil to deliver a true alternative eyeliner. Amazing! Be sure to follow my Instagram Stories for a quick tutorial on how I use this.

GallinĂ©e Probiotic Eye Contour Cream (RRP £22)

One of the original French natural beauty brands that were at the forefront of probiotic skincare, Gallinée's bestselling Eye Contour Cream has been specially formulated for the most sensitive and reactive eyes. It smoothes, protects, and soothes the delicate eye area and is just what I need after my recent laser eye surgery!

Bloomtown Lemongrass & Peppermint Deodorant Bar (RRP £10)

I featured this recently in my Summer Beauty Favourites so I'm thrilled to see it in this month's LoveLula beauty box as so many of you were asking about it on Instagram! This is one my favourite natural deodorants and has a bicarbonate-free formula that makes it suitable for sensitive pits.

Skin Alchemists Equilibrium Artisan Soap Bar (RRP £10)

Celebrate Plastic Free July with this gorgeous luxury Soap Bar from Skin Alchemists. I've tried one of their soaps before and I loved it so it's great to have another one back in my bathroom. The Equilibrium Bar has a beautifully fragrant blend of Lavender, Lime, Vetiver and Cedarwood and a lovely moisturising formula to keep hands nice and soft.

Green Beauty: LoveLula Beauty Box - November 2020 review

Sunday, 29 November 2020

Packed full of cruelty-free, natural skincare and exciting green beauty brands to discover, this month's LoveLula Beauty Box is worth £67! Curious to find out what's inside? Keep reading below.

Green People Hydrating Calming Serum (RRP £21)
Green People are one of my favourite natural and organic skincare brands so I'm always pleased to see one of their products. Their Hydrating Calming Serum is something that I haven't tried before but it sounds perfect for my fussy winter skin as it's from their scent-free sensitive skin range. It helps to calm irritation, reduce redness, maintain healthy moisture levels and boost collagen production so I'm excited to try it!

Madara Re:Gene Lifting Mask (travel size)
Next up, there's a non-invasive facial treatment mask from Madara which aims to lift, plump and smooth wrinkles for a youthful appearance. It seems to be very much focused on bringing life back to the V-shaped contours of the face which typically lose their fullness as we age. Personally, I'm not entirely confident that a topical face mask like this can achieve these kinds of results as it would essentially replace the need for fillers, but I'm going to look into the science behind it and see how it's formulated to work. Let me know if you've tried this with any success?

Ooh! Oils Of Heaven Cucumber Oil (RRP £19)
Next up, I found a full-size Ooh! Oils Of Heaven Cucumber Oil which is another interesting product; I've always enjoyed using cucumber slices over my eyes with a face mask to help depuff them, yet I haven't come across a dedicated 100% Cucumber Oil before! Cold-pressed and highly moisturising, this facial oil is rich in natural Phytosterols which help to support and maintain healthy skin, with lots of soothing antioxidants to further protect the delicate natural barrier.

Skin Alchemists Dirty Chai Soap Bar (RRP £10)
Created exclusively for LoveLula, this Skin Alchemists have crafted two very special Limited Edition fragrances of their luxurious soap bars for the festive season. Dirty Chai not only looks beautifully striking but it also smells incredible with a strong and warming Liquorice based scent. Each soap is hand-poured and cured for eight weeks and they are made from 100% natural raw ingredients of the highest grade.

Madara Infinity Drops Immuno Serum (sample)
To round off the box this month, there's an exciting sample of the new Madara Infinity Drops Immuno Serum for all subscribers to test out. The full-size bottle of this luxury product costs £80 and the serum has been specially formulated with biotechnology to reinforce the skin's natural defence system using unique lactobacillus strain, mushroom beta-glucans, provitamin D and polyphenol essence from the Madara plant. Suitable for all skin types – especially dry, stressed, sensitized, atopic and ageing skin.

LoveLula Beauty Box - May 2020 review
Worth over £50, this month's LoveLula Beauty Box has something for everyone with makeup, haircare, skincare and more! Everything included is cruelty-free and it's a great way to try out a high-end brand or a new product without breaking the bank. Curious to find out more? Keep on scrolling to discover what's inside.

INIKA Organic Lip Crayon in Deep Plum (RRP £19.50)
Being a make-up junkie, I always look forward to receiving cosmetics in the LoveLula Beauty Box and I was thrilled to find this full-size chunky Lip Crayon from INIKA. I've had the pleasure of trying out a lot of makeup from INIKA and they are one of those green beauty brands that I regularly use - you can check out my previous reviews of their makeup here.

This Lip Crayon is a gorgeous plum shade which is very flattering on and I imagine it will suit most skin tones too. The creamy formula means that it doesn't drag onto the lips and it's made from 100% natural ingredients, plus it's certified vegan and cruelty-free.

The Castillian Soap Company Natural Hand Sanitiser in Peppermint & Chamomile (RRP £9.50)
With hand sanitiser being in hot demand, I was incredibly grateful to receive another one of these Natural Hand Sanitisers from The Castillian Soap Company. I recently featured it in my Good Hand Hygiene post here and love the refreshing minty fragrance it has. It gets the job done and doesn't leave hands feeling dry or sticky.

Ayumi Naturals Hibiscus & Turmeric Shampoo (RRP £6.99)
The face scrub from this same range appeared in February's box (check out my review here if you missed it) so it's nice to try out this Hibiscus & Turmeric Shampoo as I haven't used anything from Ayumi Naturals' haircare range before. This one's described as being suitable for fine and dull hair types thanks to the brightening natural properties of Turmeric and Papaya extracts which sounds interesting.

Skin Alchemists Humble Warrior Cleansing Oil (RRP £15)
The last product in this month's LoveLula Beauty Box is a deluxe 30ml sample of Skin Alchemists Humble Warrior Cleansing Oil which is a new-to-me brand that I'm excited to try. Formulated to remove all traces of makeup and daily grime, this deep cleansing oil can also be used as a natural face mask, hair treatment and as a nail and cuticle oil - you guys know how much I love a multipurpose beauty product!
