Weekend Pampering: Dr Organic Dead Sea Mineral Bath Salts review
Saturday, 10 October 2015
If you read my September Empties post, you'll have noticed that I've ran out of my beloved Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts. Whilst the full size tub is on my Christmas wishlist, I decided to purchase a similar, but much more budget friendly option from Dr. Organic to keep me going in the meantime.

Weekend Pampering: Organic Beauty Special
Sunday, 29 September 2013
Sundays were made for pampering weren't they? Here are my product picks for this evening's beauty affair which has an organic theme to it, to celebrate the end of Organic September.
The Pampering Treat: Neom Organic Body Oil in Real Luxury
Thursday, 4 July 2013
Neom Organic Body Oil in Real Luxury* (100ml, £30)
I seem to be obsessed with body oils at the moment. Maybe it's due to the warmer weather, but I'm picking out oils over body butters and lotions a lot more these days. I have some budget friendly ones which I use most days (I'm looking at you Dresdner Essenz!), but for a truly luxurious, pampering treat, I'll reach for my beloved Neom.
Weekend Pampering: The 15 Minute Miracle
Sunday, 24 February 2013
As much as I love to indulge in long, relaxing, pampering sessions that involve bath oils and scented candles, sometimes time is just not on my side. For those occasions when you need to get ready in lightening speed but still want to fit in some beauty maintenance, I turn to these products for a 15 Minute Miracle pamper.
In the shower, I'll shampoo my hair, squeeze out as much of the water as possible and apply a small amount of Macadamia Oil Deep Repair Masque through my lengths and ends. Although this works best when you can wrap your hair up in a turban and leave it on for half an hour, it does give glossy results in less than 10 minutes too.
Whilst the masque is getting to work mending my usually heat damaged hair, I'll slather myself in LUSH Ro's Argan Body Conditioner. This is a beautiful formula that has argan oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, almond oil etc in it to seriously hydrate the skin and leaves it so soft afterwards. It's a must when you're getting ready in a hurry because you don't need to apply any body lotion afterwards and the lovely scent means that I don't have to use shower gel either, genius! Just slap it on and wash it off.
Once I'm all rinsed, towelled off and bungled into my fluffy dressing gown, it's time to do a mini facial with Liz Earle Brightening Treatment Mask* which gets to work in just 2 minutes. It's the Queen of all quick fixes for dull, tired skin and instantly brightens up your complexion. And you're all done!
Do you have a 15 Minute Miracle routine for getting ready quickly?

Weekend Pampering: The Luxury NEOM Bath
Sunday, 27 January 2013
There are few things that are more comforting than a long soak in a hot bath, especially when it's cold outside. After a tiresome, busy week of mainly battling with heavy snowfalls (and the inevitable travel delays that always accompany them in this country) and work deadlines, a good bath was definitely what I needed to indulge in today. To make the experience as luxurious and relaxing as possible, I decided to use these three NEOM products.
Before I ran my bath, I lit one of the NEOM travel candles which I bought as part of a gift set in the xmas sales. I picked out Tranquility which is a delicate modern English Lavender, Jasmine and Sweet Basil blend and the same scent as their Pillow Spray which I always enjoy using before bed.
When the bath was full, I poured in a NEOM Bath Oil in Real Luxury which is one of my favourite NEOM scents (though I'm likely to say that about all of their scents, everything I've tried so far has smelt nothing short of incredible!) and has two of the same components of the Tranquility scent (Lavender and Jasmine) plus Brazilian Rosewood which smells amazing.
After my decadent bath, I applied NEOM's Body Lotion in Real Luxury to layer the scent, whilst also making my skin feel soft and smooth. It's safe to say that I'm feeling pretty relaxed and pampered right now.

Weekend Pampering: The New Year Detox
Sunday, 20 January 2013
I treated myself to some lazy Sunday pampering earlier today, and as I always enjoy reading everyone's elses pampering posts, I thought I'd hop on the old bandwagon and do one myself. I decided to go with a 'New Year detox' theme as my body has certainly not been my temple since the festive season ended, so it was in dire need of some TLC!
I started with a long hot bath and used a sample of Seagreens The Mineral Bath* which is basically like a giant teabag filled with 100% seaweed. It's a completely new concept to me as I've only ever used bath oils or bombs before, so I was intrigued to give it a go. Seaweed has many natural detoxing properties and is meant to do all sorts of things like promote good circulation and rehydrate the skin etc. I can't really say I noticed much of a difference in those areas from just one bath, but I can say it felt very relaxing to use. However, I wasn't that keen on the scent of the seaweed so I added a few drops of Geranium and Lavender Essential Oils to my bath to make it more pleasant.
When I got out, I treated my skin to Tisserand's Detox Massage Body Oil which took away any last traces of the seaweed scent and made my skin feel wonderfully soft. Lastly, I did a quick 10 minute facial with Laidbare's For Richer For Porer Facial Masque* to draw out any impurities whilst also delivering a good exfoliation. My face and body then said thank you!
Have you treated yourself to some pampering this weekend?
