Green Beauty: LoveLula Beauty Box - February 2022 review

Monday, 21 February 2022

This month's LoveLula Beauty Box is here and once again, it's a real treat for fans of natural skincare! February's edit also contains four full-size products, making it excellent value for money, so let's take a closer look at what's inside, shall we?

Organic Works Daily Hydration Renewal Night Cream
Formulated especially for sensitive skin, this Renewal Night Cream from Scottish brand, Organic Works, is vegan-friendly and cruelty-free with 98.9% ingredients derived from natual origin. It contains Vitamin E, alongside calming essential oils such as Lavender, to nourish, balance and restore stressed skin whilst you sleep.

Balm Balm Hygge Hand & Body Balm
Like many, I'm a huge fan of the Scandi Hygge concept, so I was pleased to see this luxurious Hand & Body Balm which is made from a warming blend of Clove, Sweet Orange and Mandarin essential oils. These are wrapped up in an ultra soothing base of Beeswax, Shea Butter, Calendula and Jojoba Oil, to instantly hydrate and soften any dry areas including hands. As with most balms of this nature, a little goes a long way!

PHB Ethical Beauty Lash & Brow Growth Serum
Big lashes and brows continue to be a big trend and this handy 100% natural PHB Lash & Brow Growth Serum is here to help! It has a super easy to use wand applicator (like a regular mascara) so you can just sweep it through lashes and brows twice a day, morning and night. The key ingredients which help to boost growth are Castor Oil, Biotin and Caffeine Oil.

Ooh! Oils Of Heaven Organic Milk Thistle Face Oil
The last product this month is another full-size gem, this time from Ooh! Oils Of Heaven. The new Organic Milk Thistle Face Oil is rich in antioxidants and has naturally nurtitive and protective qualities for the skin. Suited for all skin types, including sensitive. I'm excited to try it!

October Empties: Products I've Used Up

Thursday, 4 November 2021

Better late than never as always! Here are my recent beauty Empties; all the products that I've managed to use up last month - do you spot any of your own faves in this round-up?

Ben & Anna Natural Deodorant in Persian Lime* (reviewed here)
Featured in my Plastic Free July post earlier this year, I've thoroughly enjoyed using this zesty and uplifting natural deodorant in Persian Lime from Ben & Anna. It kept me smelling lovely and fresh all day long and comes packaged in a recyclable card tube. Repurchase? Yes.

Dr. Konopka's Multi Purpose Cream* (reviewed here)
I've used up a couple of these over the years and still love it - a gentle but effective cream that you can use everywhere and anywhere to instantly soothe, soften, and moisturise dry skin. Particularly useful for hands and feet, and has a fruity pleasant fragrance. Repurchase? Will do once I've used up some similar products first.

Antipodes Culture Probiotic Night Recovery Water Cream* (reviewed here)
One of my favourite new skincare releases of 2021, this night cream is perfect for virtually all skin types and has a beautiful light gel-cream texture that sinks in straight away. Packed full of probiotics and Hyaluronic Acid to nourish without any greasy/sticky feeling afterwards. Repurchase? Definitely.

Hurraw! Pitta Lip Balm* (reviewed here)
I discovered this in a LoveLula Beauty Box, and despite having used many Hurraw! Lip Balms in the past, I wasn't previously aware of their Ayurvedic inspired range. Pitta is a mix of Coconut, Mint and Lemongrass so it's a good one to try for Summer as it's cooling and refreshing. Repurchase? I have a million lip balms to use up but I'm sure I will come back to this range at some point!

Dafna's Purify Cleanser(reviewed here)
Another skincare favourite that I've used on/off over the years is Dafna's amazing Purify Cleanser. If my skin is feeling oily and congested, this is the cleanser that I'll often reach for to help balance it out. It's quite pricey but luckily a little goes a long way. Repurchase? Will do next Summer.

Mádara Hyaluronic Collagen Booster Ampoules(reviewed here)
Every now and then, my skin goes through a really rough dry patch which is usually linked to the change of season so I like to add a course of these booster ampoules into my evening routine. They specifically target dryness and irritation and they get to work instantly so you'll see results immediately - ideal if you have a big event coming up. Repurchase? I'm torn about whether I should repurchase these because they're single-use plastic, but they work SO well and I only use a pack once or twice a year. I'll have to think about it!

Isla Apothecary Renewing Foot Treatment*
My last empty is a luxury treat for your feet from Isla Apothecary. This is a proper pampering product that's made from a blend of Epsom Salts, Coconut Oil and the most gorgeous selection of uplifting essential oils. Amazing for restoring tired feet and perfect for a little 'me time' at the end of a busy week. Repurchase? On my Christmas list ;)

Green Beauty: LoveLula Beauty Box - September 2021 review

Wednesday, 22 September 2021

With a combined value of £58, September's LoveLula Beauty Box offers excellent value for money and serves as an introduction to a range of both affordable and luxury green beauty brands. Everything included in this subscription box is also guaranteed to be cruelty-free, so if you're fed up with other beauty boxes not meeting your ethical standards, why not give LoveLula a go instead?

Here's a rundown of what's inside this month's box!

Ere Perez Cacao Lip Colour in Sway (RRP £23.50)

As a makeup junkie, I always love discovering new makeup in subscription boxes so I was delighted to stumble across this beautiful tinted lip conditioner from Ere Perez's Cacao Lip Colour range. Featuring an ultra-hydrating formula of Cacao Butter and Castor Oil, this vegan-friendly lippy softens dry lips and adds a sheer coverage of colour, all wrapped in gorgeous sleek packaging.

Glossworks Cuticle Balm (RRP £12)

A new product release from one of LoveLula's exclusive brands, Glossworks, this Cuticle Balm is the perfect addition to your daily pampering routine, especially as we head into the colder months. Made from only natural ingredients, a tiny amount is all you need to use for nourished and softer cuticles. Top tip: keep it on your bedside table next to your hand cream so you remember to apply it every night.

Ayumi Sandalwood & Cocoa Butter Face Cream (RRP £6.99)

Suitable for dry and sensitive skin types, Ayumi's Sandalwood & Cocoa Butter Face Cream is another great product to help prepare your skin for Autumn. Featuring key natural ingredients such as Sea Kelp, Aloe Vera, Ylang Ylang, Sandalwood, Frankincense, Sage and Jasmine essential oils, it not only gives your skin all the hydration that it requires, but adds a sense of calm to your day through its natural fragrance.

Mádara Total Renewal Night Cream (travel size)

The last product in this month's LoveLula Beauty Box is a travel size of one of Mádara's bestsellers, their Total Renewal Night Cream. It has the most beautiful rich and silky texture which sinks into the skin immediately and gets to work overnight to repair and recharge your complexion for smoother and more radiant skin come the morning.

Introducing: Florena Fermented Skincare - Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream, Antioxidant Night Cream, Regenerating Facial Oil & Firming Face Mask review

Wednesday, 7 July 2021

Last month, I had the pleasure of being introduced to a new-to-me natural skincare brand called Florena. They specialise in vegan-friendly and sustainable skincare, with everything they produce being certified by COSMOS Natural

What really sets Florena apart from many similar brands is that they are the first company who are dedicated to the fermentation of flowers and oil - an intriguing area of protective and regenerative skincare that boasts many benefits for all skin types.

The fermentation process begins by carefully selecting plant-based oils and flowers to extract their key components and then natural fermenting agents are added. After fermenting for a period of time, the solution is filtered so that only the fermented actives are retained for their use in the skincare formulas.

I was kindly sent a package of Florena skincare to try out and all of the below are from their anti-aging range. For those who haven't come across Florena before, they are an affiliate of the German beauty giant Beiersdorf and are cruelty-free.

Florena Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream* (50ml, £24.99, link) & Antioxidant Night Cream* (50ml, £24.99, link)

If you only try one product from Florena, I'd recommend either their Day or Night Creams so let's start there! I've been most impressed by both of these. The Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream is a beautiful concoction that's made from 99.47% natural ingredients and enriched with fermented Honeysuckle, Hyaluronic Acid, and fermented Olive Oil. Due to the fermented Olive Oil content, this moisturiser boasts 50 times more Omega 6 and Omega 9 fatty acids than non-fermented Olive Oil so it's great for hydrating dry skin, smoothing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and protecting against everyday free radical damage. I love the texture of this as it just sinks into the skin immediately, yet feels instantly nourishing and hydrating.

For your evening routine, the Antioxidant Night Cream is packed full of those essential Omega 6 and Omega 9 Fatty Acids, with Vitamin E and fermented Portulaca and Lactobacillus. It will give your skin a big drink of moisture to enjoy overnight, whilst boosting the level of antioxidants to repair and protect the skin's natural barrier against the elements. As you'd expect from a night cream, this is a little more richer and thicker than the Day Cream so a little goes a long way, but it absorbs easily without any greasiness.

A note about the packaging: these moisturisers come in jars which are made from 97.5% recycled plastic and thus it's more lightweight to help reduce the CO2 impact and the amount of plastic needed overall. The content is still the same as a full-size 50ml moisturiser, it's just that the packaging is more compact. I thought I'd point this out as many customers on the Boots website appeared to be moaning about the jars being so small!

Florena Regenerating Facial Oil* (30ml, £24.99, link)

You guys know how much I love using facial oils so of course I was excited to try this out. Florena's Regenerating Facial Oil does not disappoint; it's a powerful elixir made from 100% natural ingredients that includes fermented White Helichrysum, Argan Oil, Almond Oil, Coconut Oil, Passionfruit Seed Oil, and Safflower Oil. Like the moisturisers above, it's high in essential fatty acids Omega 6 and 9 to feed and nourish the skin, whilst the silky texture of the oil gives the skin an instant boost after a glorious pampering facial massage with it. This feels like a real treat for your skin!

Florena Firming Face Mask* (8ml, £5.99, link)

For a quick and easy skincare treatment, Florena's Face Masks get to work in just 5 minutes and there are currently two types available; a Hydrating and a Firming solution. Described as a weekly anti-ageing treatment, I tried the Firming Face Mask which has 99.47% natural ingredients and features fermented Honeysuckle and Hyaluronic Acid to deliver a firming, plumping, and revitalising result to tired, older skin in need of a pick-me-up. I thoroughly enjoyed using this cream mask, though my main criticism is that it comes in single-use packaging, when a much easier to recycle jar seems more appropriate these days. One to save for traveling perhaps?

Florena Fermented Skincare is available from Florena.co.uk

Winter Skincare: Natura Siberica SOS Soothing Night Face Mask + Anti-Fatigue Eye Patch-Effect Mask review

Monday, 4 January 2021

Baby, it's cold outside! Whether it's currently snowing where you are, or an icy forecast is on its way to you soon, it's time to reach for those Winter Skincare staples to protect your skin against the freezing temperatures. Here are two mask-style treatments from Natura Siberica to add to your skincare routine this month.

When it comes to cold weather, it's always best to look towards those countries which handle it far better than we do here in the UK! So it's no surprise to learn that my inbox has been inundated with skincare brands that are based in the chilly Nordic countries as well as further east across the icy expanses of Siberia and beyond.

Focusing on the latter, I particularly love an affordable brand called Natura Siberica who ethically work with local tribes across Siberia to wild-harvest the most potent natural and organic ingredients for their products. These adaptogenic herbs and plants contain extraordinary antioxidant properties which help them to survive the freezing temperatures and harsh conditions of Siberia, and in turn, these offer many benefits to the skin to protect it from the same elements.

I've been trialling the following two mask treatments from Natura Siberica since December, and with the recent snowfall across England, it's been the perfect time to put them to the test!

Natura Siberica SOS Soothing Night Face Mask* (50ml, £10.49, link)
An award-winning face mask which was recently shortlisted in the ASOS 2020 Beauty Awards, Natura Siberica's SOS Soothing Night Face Mask is an overnight leave-on treatment mask that you can use once or twice a week whenever your skin is feeling dry, tight, stressed or sensitive. Simply apply to cleansed skin like a normal moisturiser and let it do its magic as you sleep! Key ingredients include everyone's favourite skin hydrator Hyaluronic Acid, as well as Vitamin E, Organic Siberian Pine Oil, Organic Rhodiola and Rose Hydrolate to quickly bring back life to tired, lacklustre complexions. Come the morning, my skin feels as soft as a baby's bum and I've noticed that I need to use far less face oil and moisturiser on the other days of the week following just one treatment with this.

Natura Siberica Anti-Fatigue Eye Patch-Effect Mask* (50ml, £11.49, link)
Give your eyes some TLC this winter with this ingenious Anti-Fatigue Eye Patch-Effect Mask. As the name suggests, this product works in a similar manner to those popular single-use undereye patches that you see all the time on Instagram, but without the plastic waste - win-win! Perfect for sensitive skin, it features many of the same hardworking plant-based actives as the SOS Soothing Night Face Mask, but in a lighter, gel-like texture instead. To use it, just apply a small amount in a thin layer under the eyes and leave on for 10-15 minutes, before gently wiping away with a warm flannel/cotton muslin cloth. It's great for reducing puffiness and relieving tired eyes so they feel soothed and more comfortable. I love it!

Currently Loving: Autumn Skincare Favourites from Evolve Organic Beauty, Tropic Skincare, Balade en Provence & NeuroSkinFeeds

Wednesday, 11 November 2020

A round-up of the new Autumn Skincare Favourites which I've been loving lately, from a range of brands such as Evolve Organic Beauty, Tropic Skincare, Balade en Provence and NeuroSkinFeeds.

The New Luxury Organic Hand Wash: Evolve Organic Beauty Pomegranate and Goji Berry Aromatic Wash* (250ml, £14, link)

Let's face it, washing your hands a million times a day is a boring but essential part of our daily lives, so why not treat yourself this new luxury Pomegranate and Goji Berry Aromatic Wash from Evolve Organic Beauty? Handmade by artisans in Evolve's very own eco-run studio, this vegan-friendly and cruelty-free hand wash is bursting full of fresh and uplifting fruity notes such as Pomegranate, Peach, Pear, Raspberry and mixed Citrus Fruits.

The gentle SLS-free formula is enriched with soothing Aloe Vera and there's even added Quinoa extract to help lock-in moisture which is great if your hands are feeling a bit rough and dry at the moment. It's the kind of hand wash that you'll actually look forward to using, and it's currently on offer on the Evolve website for £11.90 so now's the perfect time to try it for yourselves.

The Extra TLC Eye Serum: Tropic Skincare Eye Work Rejuvenating Serum* (10ml, £28, link)

2020 has been a tough year for most of us, and if you've looked in the mirror lately and felt like you've aged an extra 10 years, fret not because help for your tired peepers is on hand. Tropic Skincare's Eye Work Rejuvenating Serum is an innovative formula which targets all of those bothersome concerns we have about our eyes looking older than our actual age. It helps to reduce the appearance of dark circles, combat puffiness and also helps to lighten up age-related pigmentation so it's pretty much a superstar product to have in your anti-ageing skincare routine.

Packed with brightening Vitamin C, firming Hibiscus Peptides and de-puffing Coffee Cherry extract, this clever vegan and cruelty-free serum is packaged in an elegant twist-up tube, which has a ceramic tip that feels oh-so-soothing when you gently massage it around the eye area first thing in the morning.

The New Zero Waste Night Moisturiser: Balade en Provence Solid Night Cream* (40g, £12.50, link)

You regularly use bars of soap and you've switched over to shampoo bars too, but did you know that there's now a brand new night cream that comes in a solid bar format? Introducing Balade en Provence Solid Night Cream, this entirely plastic-free creation is handmade by French artisans and is certified vegan, organic and cruelty-free. It's also palm-oil free, plus the card box that it's packaged in is fully compostable and printed with biodegradable vegetable ink, making it a serious win-win for the planet!

Even better, the Solid Night Cream bar is composed of just four natural ingredients; Cacao Butter, Apricot Kernel Oil, Coconut Oil and Carnauba Wax, which results in an ultra-nourishing, hydrating and soothing moisturiser for your skin. To use it, simply warm the bar in your hands so that it melts and creates a balm texture that you can smooth onto the face - it's amazing to use for an evening facial massage as well. 100% natural and fragrance-free, I recommend it for dry and sensitive skin types.
The Multi-Functional Face Oil: NSF (NeuroSkinFeeds) The MicroOil* (50ml, £49, link)

Multi-functional skincare that boasts benefits for your skin and your mind are becoming more and more popular these days and one of my recent discoveries has been the wonderful NSF The MicroOil from NeuroSkinFeeds. On the one hand, this facial oil is rich in plant-based antioxidants and fatty acids with high levels coming from Squalene Oil, Sweet Almond Oil and Camelina Sativa Seed Oil which are also high in Vitamin E, essential for healthy skin maintenance. These oils work hard to calm irritation and redness, boost elasticity and firmness, smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, support the skin's natural barrier and maintain moisture levels for a softer and more hydrated complexion.

On the other hand, these plant oils also double up to have a positive effect on mental wellbeing thanks to their Omega 3 rich levels and the natural properties of Tryptophan, an important precursor for Serotonin AKA the 'happy' hormone'. Given the stress of this year, I'll use as much as possible!

Have you discovered any new skincare products this Autumn?

Made from an organic castile soap base and high-quality natural vegetable oils, this larger Limited Edition size bottle from The Castilian Soap Company can be used on the face and body as a gentle purifying cleanser, and I've also used this to wash my makeup brushes with great results! Blended with Tea Tree Oil for additional natural antiseptic properties, it's a multi-purpose must-have.

Balm Balm Rose Floral Water Hydrosol
Balm Balm Rose Floral Water Hydrosol (RRP £8.50)
I love the simplicity of a good rosewater toner mist and this Rose Floral Water Hydrosol from Balm Balm is a gorgeous product to spritz onto the skin, either as part of your skincare routine or throughout the day whenever you feel your skin needs a bit of a pick me up. It smells beautiful and I love that it's packaged in glass.

Laidbare Butter Me Up Organic Shea Body Butter (RRP £10)
I remember when this product was sold in big tubs many years ago - you can check out an old review hereLaidbare's Butter Me Up Organic Shea Body Butter is brilliant for dry skin thanks to a super-rich formula which boasts natural nourishing ingredients such as Shea Butter and Avocado Oil. I think I'll be saving this for Winter!

Green Beauty: LoveLula Beauty Box - January 2018 review

Wednesday, 24 January 2018

LoveLula Beauty Box - January 2018 review
The first LoveLula Beauty Box of 2018 is here and not only does it feature one of my favourite pampering bath treats (in a full-size bottle - wooo!), but the overall contents are worth over £71. Wowza, so let's take a closer look!

Here's what I found inside:-

Madara Total Renewal Night Cream (20ml travel size, full size retails for £42)
Although Madara features a lot in the LoveLula beauty boxes, they are a beautiful organic skincare brand that I love, so I was pleased to see another travel size of their popular Total Renewal Night Cream. I've used this a couple of times in the past and really like it - it feels lovely and rich, but absorbs quickly and makes my skin feel very plumped up and hydrated come the morning. Suitable for all skin types, this travel size is worth £20 on its own, so this is a great way to try it!

MOA Green Bath Potion (full size, RRP £27)
You can imagine how happy I was when I saw this as I've been meaning to purchase a full size of this bad boy for a while now. MOA's Green Bath Potion is hands down one of the best bath products that I've tried for when you have a cold or nasty bout of flu, thanks to its incredibly strong herbal blend that contains Peppermint and Fennel. One capful poured into a warm bath will help to clear out your sinuses and make you feel instantly better - trust me! It's also fantastic for soothing any aches and pains, especially if you've overdone it at the gym, and helps me to de-stress too.

LoveLula Beauty Box - January 2018 review
PHB Brightening Eye Gel (full size, RRP £16.95)
I have to admit that this was the only product in the box that I wasn't particularly excited about, as I have very dry under eyes, so most eye gel formulas aren't moisturising enough for me. That said, I have been really impressed with everything that I've tried from PHB in the past, and I love the sound of a product that claims to help brighten dark circles and reduce puffiness - both of which I struggle with a lot, so I'll definitely be giving it a go at some point in the near future.

Laidbare Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow Hair Minimising Moisturiser (full size, RRP £6.99)
The fourth and final product comes from one of my favourite budget-friendly natural brands, Laidbare, and I've used Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow on and off over the years. In fact, I first reviewed it way back in 2013 here! This hair minimising moisturiser helps to slow down hair growth and re-growth with a natural inhibiting effect that comes from a synergistic botanical complex of Licorice extract, Caffeine and Horse Chestnut Seed extract. These are blended into a base that contains Aloe Vera as the second ingredient in the formula, so it's perfect to use after shaving and waxing to reduce any inflammation, redness and irritation as well. It works for me, though is something that I mainly use in the Summer months when my legs are out on show so I'll be saving it until then.

LoveLula Beauty Box* is a monthly subscription box priced at £13.95 with free postage in the UK. Visit lovelula.com to find out more.

Superfood Skincare: 4 Avocado Oil Heroes from Antipodes

Wednesday, 22 March 2017

Superfood Skincare: Avocado Oil Heroes from Antipodes
Since the birth of the Instagram-worthy 'Avocado On Toast' craze that transformed everyone's breakfasts and brunches, there's been a lot of renewed interest into the health and skincare benefits of the humble avocado.

Needless to say, the skincare world was way ahead of the trend as many brands, especially organic/natural beauty ones, were already using ingredients like Avocado Oil in their products. One such brand to use this hero ingredient are Antipodes who use Organic Avocado Oil in a number of their skincare products. I'm a big fan of Antipodes as regular readers will know, so I jumped at the chance to adapt some of my skincare routine to include these four products which are rich in Avocado Oil to see whether I would see a difference in my skin. I've been testing them out for around 4 weeks now, so here are my thoughts.
Antipodes Rejoice Light Facial Day Cream review
Antipodes Rejoice Light Facial Day Cream* (60ml, £28.99, link)

I've been through a couple of tubes of this moisturiser in the past and it's definitely something that I can see myself going back to again and again in the future. Whenever I return to it, I always think - "Why did I stop using this?!", so it's been a pleasure to be reunited with it. The Rejoice Light Facial Day Cream is suitable for normal, combination and oily skin types and it's very different from most moisturisers aimed at these categories, simply because it's very hydrating and doesn't leave the skin matte or stripped of its natural oils. Instead, it uses a whole host of organic ingredients such as Manuka Flower Oil, Avocado Oil, Macadamia Oil and Jojoba Oil, to regenerate, moisturise and balance the skin, resulting in softer, smoother skin. I've also noticed that my skin has become less oily over time - the longer I've used it, the more balanced I've seen it become.

With this moisturiser, a little goes a long way and you'll likely need to use a lot less than you initially think because it's so hydrating. The packaging is a bit unconventional as it comes in a recycled tube (watch out the very first time you open it as a lot of the product wants to come out!), but I've soon gotten used to it!
Antipodes Divine Face Oil review
Antipodes Divine Face Oil* (30ml, £19.99, link)

If you only try one product from Antipodes, go for this one! It's amazing and surprisingly very affordable compared to similar products from other brands that I've used. Their Divine Face Oil is something that I would recommend to anyone who's new to the world of face oils as it's light, not greasy and absorbs easily. I know some people are put off by the thought of a heavy oil, so this one offers a much nicer sensory introduction!

Packed full of skin nourishing ingredients like Rosehip Oil, Macadamia Oil, Jojoba Oil, and our hero Avocado Oil, the Divine Face Oil is a real treat for the skin as it offers deep hydration and also helps to balance it out. The biggest difference that I see when I use this, is that my skin looks a lot more glowy in the morning (I always tend to use face oils at night but you can, of course, use it in the day if you like as it works well underneath makeup), so it's ideal for anyone who wants a brightening pick-me-up for dull skin.
Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream review
Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream* (60ml, £32.99, link)

This night cream is a firm favourite amongst skincare gurus and bloggers alike, so I was really excited to finally try it for myself. It's won a Green Beauty Bible Award, and like many of Antipodes' products, has been scientifically shown to stimulate Type 1 Collagen Production in Humans (this particular night cream boasts up to 92% stimulation!), providing the proof that natural based skincare can be just as effective as mainstream equivalents when a brand knows what they're doing with formulas and skincare technology.

I've been enjoying using the Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream, especially throughout February when it was really cold as I felt like it protected my skin against the elements and also helped to keep it thoroughly hydrated. I have a feeling though that this may be too rich for me to use during the summer months, and I can imagine this suiting drier and more mature skin types a lot more than oily/combination ones due to the high content of ingredients such as Shea Butter, Squalene, Avocado Oil and Coconut Oil. That said, I can use it sparingly and so far my skin has been thanking me for it!
Antipodes Joyful Hand & Body Cream review
Antipodes Joyful Hand & Body Cream* (120ml, £28.99, link)

Joyful is a Hand & Body Cream that's truly fit for a Queen. It has one of the most luxurious scents that I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing (think fresh juicy berries and floral Hibiscus - mmm!), and the velvety texture of the cream is just incredible. It's made from a 98% naturally derived formulation which makes the most out of two ultra-hydrating ingredients; Avocado Oil and Macadamia Oil, leaving hands and body feeling as soft as a newborn baby.

This is definitely something that I reserve for 'pampering treats' and special occasions, and it's a lovely product to reach for if you've had a crappy day and need some cheering up. The colour of the packaging alone just makes me feel instantly happier whenever I see it and the fragrance is simply heavenly. A real luxury treat to use!

Have you tried any of these?

Dr Renaud Carrot Radiance Discovery Set review
Everyone knows that carrots are good for you, but did you know that they may be a good ingredient to have in skincare? Neither did I, so I wanted to put it to the test with the Discovery Set from Dr Renaud's Carrot Radiance range.
